I really didn't like how Tom treated his band members though but yes, you're right about Tom, he is a musical genius!

Timestamp myself. I'm 55 years old. My mother and father when I was about 10 years old bought me a record player with stereo speakers. Imagine stereo speakers being a big deal. And it was for Christmas and I got this Boston album, George Carlin, album and an Elton John album. A month or two later my mother took me to a Kiss concert on the alive tour in the middle 70s. Yes, KISS! She's now 82 years old and I'm her caregiver and we still laugh about it all the damn time.

I noticed All of the stuff that you noticed.
My man on the bass grooving, the fun they're having smiling, the clean sound. That's good stuff.

This is one of my favourite songs by Boston. Tom Scholtz ( The guy in White ) is the genius behind this band. Great reaction.

Like this song cause it's a different construction than their other songs from there first album. Lots of different sections of the song. Some of their other songs on this album didn't sound original. AnD third stage sounds a lot like retread songs. I know the story hope here wasn't done with this album and ther record company took his half done songs and put them out. Imagine if he finished them? That's why this album IS like 10 minutes short.

several years ago, after the bombings in Boston, These young teenage girls came in to the store I was a cashier in wearing t-shirts from the band Boston. I have this thing I do when I see younger people wearing classic rock band T-shirts, I ask them about the group to see if they’re like me and love the music or if they are just into the big names, most of the time they at least have some interest in the band they are wearing, but these girls didn’t even know they were wearing band tees, they thought they were shirt supporting the city Boston. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂

The song is much longer than the video, don’t know why it was edited. I’m 53 years old and been listening to Boston since I was 10 years old.

Tom Scholz cut this entire album in his basement on used equipment HE modified, he played everything but drums and sung. Brad Delp (lead singer) didn't realize there wasn't a real band until about 10 years later. All the huge labels turned down everything Tom sent them, and this was the last time he was going to send demos out and just go back to the 9 to 5 grind as a engineer at Polaroid. Tom also had a company that made add on for guitars that are still super popular TO THIS DAY. Tom Scholz changed rock music and is an inspiration. RIP Tom and Brad.

@RudeReviews - Wanted to get your thought on this: I listen and like all kinds of music but there is something about rock.., a well crafted melodic power cut.., one that brings out energy and emotions and literally makes me sweat due to it's melodic power. Some rock is just noise but some rock, good rock, shakes my soul. Do you find a certain type of music that shakes you in a way that's hard to describe? Great reviews, keep them coming.

Great reaction 'Rude'...! Thx for the memories... the time travel... Thinkin you'd enjoy the Live Madison Square Garden version of Stairway to Heaven.... Zeppelin is truly at their apex during this period... Robert Plants singing /stage prescence is unequaled... and Jimmy Pages guitar playing is truly........ 'otherworldly '! ;-) Thx
