You have reacted twice to Boston before.......Foreplay/Long Time and More than a Feeling. Great band.....not a bad track on their debut album. Try Peace of Mind or Smokin'.

Whenever I listen to Boston it reminds me of the Kurt Cobain story of when he was new in school and had his Folder with a bunch of Stickers of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin and so many Hard Rock and Punk bands and this kid starts talking to him about them and then he sees “ what? You like Boston?” 😂 if you’ve ever like Rock or Classic Rock or Guitar Music .. you’re gonna love Boston 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

You have actually done More than a Feeling and Foreplay/Longtime. You might want to review. Also there are so many life changing Boston songs you should do a whole show.

Boston - was deeply influential on Hair Metal. Arena rock was a massive influence on the sound of hair metal. Tom Scholz is vastly underrated as a guitarist.

Boston was primarily songwriter Tom Scholz vehicle for his autobiographical songs. The selling constant he had was lead singer Brad Delp, who was excellent, and died too young.

Arena Rock, I think, describes the 70s Era where bands, from wherever, played big stadiums. So a lot of rock bands, popular in the 70s, fell into this category. Boston, KISS, Aerosmith, Van Halen, Queen, to name a few. Imagine the live album Framton Comes Alive from Peter Frampton. Just my opinion. I was born in the 70s and had teenage brothers in the 70s, so a lot of music was playing at my house. Good times!

Boston is amazing. Saw them 7 times, and their debut album is a masterpiece, and they keep it simple, and your ears ring for 3 days. Love this group. 1976 first concert and last was 2013. 👍👍

Boston never sounded like anybody and nobody ever sounded like Boston. They invented that guitar sound.

It's funny (to me). This is one of those songs we (myself, brother and sister) had on vinyl back in the day. I still know this song with a "skip" because of that. Great song though.

The sound comes from a Leslie cabinet amplifier for a Hammond organ has horns on the top of the cabinet spinning in a circular motion throwing the sound out

Tom sholz was more than a bassists, he was an MIT engineer. They recorded and mixed that whole album in his basement on equipment he invented. The things he did made the Boston sound and contributed to the sounds musicians have been making ever since using his equipment or equipment he designed.
He was just horrible at dealing with the record labels and contracts.
