Thank you, we all have our intrests and as long as you still enjoy them that is all that matter's Have a Fantastic 2025, thank you for spending time watching BB👍👍👍
Nice couple of video's you have done there of the new Goldwing DCT. I too went for test rides on bikes with my Mrs like the BMW K1600, RT1250 but did not feel right for us. We then went down to Blackpool Honda superstore were we test rid the Goldwing for the day, by the end of that day we were both sold on having one. We now have owned Goldwing for the last six months and what a great six months its been, it as got my Mrs back out in the saddle again enjoying biking. The best thing is i have a Kawasaki ZH2 as well in the garage so have best of both worlds, thanks again for the videos the mirrors are not electric you move the glass by hand 👍 and glad you found the hand brake in the end 🙂 Regards Gary
Good video, I bought the same model and colour 4months ago as a retirement present as it’s the only bike I can get the wife to pillion on. Can’t fault a single thing, best bike I have owned in 40years of on road biking. Blackpool Honda couldn’t have been better to deal with, let me have the bike for a day to try it out and to see if the missus would be happy on. Service plan you suggest is great value too. As comments say, it’s a lot of money, but 40 years of work, I think I am owed it, and I am getting the miles in with the wife enjoying it too. DCT is a must if you want an easy life, manual if that’s your thing is also available.
I saw the Rain mode blinking. I would love to see you ride it using the automatic and Sport mode with the added power. You handle that bike extremely well!
I am not rich. Worked 2 jobs and saved like hell to get one. Sold most of my bikes. It was an investment similar to a house in some ways. Didnt like your comment "if you had one of these you wouldnt miss the money!"
Biggest negative is the dash, they have not changed it since 2018... way way way behind the 24 Harleys Tour bikes, really hoping the 25 GW has this upgraded
If money grew on trees I would definitely want one haha, My local dealership offered me a test ride on one but it would spoil my current and any future bikes so i passed.
I wonder if the guys who lent you their 30K bike would be happy with you taking it down a gravel lane. I for one certainly wouldn't want to buy it now.
Nope, like a car you need to apply it, I don’t use mine as it’s a heavy bike that won’t move unless on a gradient, then I use it and stress in case I ride off with it on LOL. Burn out your back brake in a mile 😂
@@birchwoodbiker yes it’s a dct, I only apply the handbrake on an incline, but fairly level areas I don’t bother, it is fairly stable on most areas, just like any motorbike. It does give you paranoia about forgetting to release on the odd occasions it’s needed.
It’s a tour bike pal, what do you think it should look like, my last bike was a z1000sx, lovely sports tourer, bike before was a versys 650, nice middleweight. What have you got Mr critic. We buy bikes that suit our needs. Best selling tour bike for last 49 years so must be doing something right.
No interest in bikes, but I really enjoyed the commentary sir!

6:48 After the 2 white vans cross, seeing that car sticking its nose out there is terrifying.
Go pro doesn't show there true distance, but the brakes on that Goldwing are amazing as good as sport bikes👍👍👍
Great vlog bud , what a Machine , still I cant fault my NC DCT , hope your getting back to full heath now buddy

Thanks pal, fingers crossed for you pal.
Watching this for my pops to grab as he likes my 2024 NC750
I love the Gold-Wing...but if I could only have one bike it would be my NC750.

@@birchwoodbiker The Goldwing can't be beaten, and you demonstrated that fact exceptionally well!
Well Paul, enjoyed that and I think a test ride could well be on the horizon 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Got to hand it to you Paul..there's not many people would take a new Goldwing down a gravel/dirt track..😂😂

OK mate you've talked me into it. As soon as I win the lottery I'm having one.
Touch quick on those lanes at times, which I know well, even expected a few to run wide. Nice bike.

Think it’s fair to say that you like the Goldwing. Regarding the DCT, when changing down it sounds clunky …or are you using a paddle shift?
Hi BB they are nice bikes but expensive for the normal working person 👍🏍️
How tall are you.
Judging width is difficult. Did you know that a Rolls Royce is 5 inches narrower than a Range Rover?
I wonder if the guys who lent you their 30K bike would be happy with you taking it down a gravel lane. I for one certainly wouldn't want to buy it now.
hello, you really need to get into the habit of applying the hand brake when parking up
Doesn’t it come on automatically when stopping and turning off?

Who designs this bike 😂 seriously…. Is awful.. come on guys time to accept it looks like shit
as they say it's in the eye of the beholder I like it, but I get it it's not the style of the Goldwing much easier to clean though 👍👍👍

Looks bloody amazing. So tired of touring bikes that look 50 yrs old.
