good to know about the cory's! I was going to add them to my 32.5 flex too, but might reconsider because I want plants. I love my bristlenose pleco for cleaning duty. She doesn't seem to bother plants.
Corys can do that but usually it's not a big deal. Here many factors were reunited so the corys can't take all the blame 😅 I still love them and they left all the other plants alone
@@robl6044 Hey Rob, I looked back at my settings and here they are : Sunrise : 1 hour Daylight : 6h30 min at (Red 70%, Green 25%, Blue 5%, White 70%) Sunset : 1 hour
My LFS doesn't carry any plants that float so I've used a rotala and some Amazon swords from a runner vine. The rotala seems to be doing well floating and has many roots growing down. Wish I could get some frog bit or similar!
Yeah floating plants are somewhat rare in my region too. I've been selling/trading portions faster than I can make 😅😅 Your swords stay in the substrate even with the aerial runners tugging?
@@DolbecAqua yeah, I got lucky when getting aquarium plants and picked out a giant amazon sword that had just the runner vine. After planting it, the runner grew several plants out that I've slowly been cutting off and planting.
Did you add another light bar? I have this same tank, and recently my Crinium plant that was in the back corner died. I’ve been using fertilizers, but maybe it didn’t get enough light. Will you share your light parameter settings? I have a Siesta programmed for algae control.
I have the original light and only one, I'll grab the parameters when I get back home. I also fertilize but lightly, might need to add more. I've also added some nutrient capsules in the substrate for the crypts.
Do you have aquariums/aquascapes that have also been running for a while?
Yes I’ve had my tank running for a little over a yr and fully aquascape. But keep getting BBA and holes in the leaves.
@@darrienlien9508 oh no! :( I had some BBA at the start but it quickly dissapeared. Hope you can fix this soon
I also fert and use root tabs
🙏 let work on my tank more

👍
Did you upgrade your light? I have been problems with growing plants in my Flex 32
No I only have the original, I could've added a second but decided not to
