Spot on about the open guy getting the shot. Nothing worse when it's "let's dump ti to this guy and let him cook one on one." For the Celtics that's has often been give it to Tatum 3 feet above the arc and let him dribble into a step back 3- the playoffs were salutary in that regard; they did a great job hitting the open guy.

I think that you're 100% correct in your estimation of where Jaylen Brown and Anthony Edwards are at right now, as well as what Ant Man seems to have the capacity to reach. I thought it sounded pretty damn reasonable. I'll have to go back to the previous video to see what the Ant Stans said.
I agree, any of Celtics' top 8 guys can take the last game-winning/tying shot. However, my personal preference order would be:
1. White
2. Jrue
3. Horford
4. Brown
5. Tatum
6. Pritchard
7. Porzingis
8. Hauser
I put Hauser last coz he gets into shooting slump way too often.
Hmm I’m trying to think but now that you mention it I can’t remember Hauser taking many clutch shots… a lot of that is probably him rarely being in the closing lineup, but even when he’s on fire I feel like they use him more at the beginning or middle of quarters to bring that energy, and don’t usually play him in those tight situations down the stretch when they need split second high IQ decision making/ guys playing gritty /hustling to pull off a win.
Maybe their best closing unit would be the starters but with Al instead of KP? Hmmm 🤔.. the thing is I generally would rather horford take that shot if it was from distance, but KP can be such a cheat code in the post those when they desperately need to generate a bucket after a play crumbles or stagnates and nothing else is working.
I know this is probably never gonna happen but imagine if for the last minute(ish) of a one possession game they go double big with the unit of JB, White, Holiday, Horford, and KP. Horford plays the 4 so you get the best of both while porzingis in the paint ready to clean up/ finish the play if something goes wrong. I love Tatum and he’s amazing, but historically his shooting at the end of these one or two possession games has not be reliable at all… so I feel they may as well try something different, and Joe can track the stats on any alternate lineup & see how it compares with the usual

I hope JB knows how much celtics fans love him, the disrespect will continue with him and jayson but so will the banners. Non-celtic fans only prop up JB when it’s to smite JT. They see JB as no threat to the idols they worship, and that’s why theyre willing to use him to smite JT who i guess they see as a threat. When we tell them to recognize JB as the top 15 player (at least) he is and put him in those convos, they keep underrating him. But i say fuck’em banner19 otw😂☘️☘️.

I disagree john. I think the celtics will trade springer for a cheaper player (like torrey craig) or a pick in an effort to minimize taxes. no sense paying 4M (+taxes) for a player who's not going to play in alot of games nor would be a top 10 player in the rotation. Springer, at best, would be #12 and that assumes Walsh sucks more than him or Lonnie is cut.
Kornet starting and Al finishing?
The Celtics will provably make a minor trade. If Springer doesn't crack the rotation, then i could see him getting traded into cap space

You keep complaining about the League Office and the Celtics pre-season schedule...outside of the overseas games the League Office is **not** involved in scheduling the pre-season schedules, Bobby Marks recently tweeted about this in response to LeBron's whining about going to Milwaukee. Each team is responsible for coordinating their own pre-season schedule with the other teams. So if you have any gripes with the Celtics pre-season schedule you should talk to Brad.
Also, I wouldn't put it past that "sicko" Coach Mazzula intentionally making the pre-season difficult on the team 🤣

Jaylen Brown is a better version of jimmy butler. These guys work their butts off and have ultimate drive to be better. While Jason Tatum is writing kids books and going on late night shows Jaylen brown is in a pool with weights strapped to himself doing some navy seal type training after he just signed biggest contract in nba. Watch Jaylen brown obliterate anyone in his way this season he will gain a lot of respect this year. Tatum is great but he needs to stop worrying about looking great and improve his efficiency.
Its funny how JB stayed consistent throught the season and playoff. Now hes the best player on the team. Hes been in the league 8 years Tatum 7. How many of those years was JB the better player over JT. Stop with the JB os better bullshit. Celtics need both those guys and the fact JB is now stepping up to playing on JTs level hes been at for the past 5 years, thats how we gona maintain success and win. JT os still undoubtley the best player on the team. Every statistics metric shows. One great playoff run by JB wont change that. JB is the heart, but tatum is the brains. Both need each other
Generally agree but I think it’s more JB is the leader and tstum is the baller. Tatum has more skill but JB has other intangibles that make it so their value is essentially the same.
I'm of the opinion that Luka actually played the worst in Kyrie. Luca was bad almost every minute I was watching him. If it wasn't being bad on offense he was being bad on defense. Never forget he shot sub 30% from 3.
