I just got my 2 x 3.5TT GV70's top trim 2 weeks ago one in Mauna Red and one in Makalu Grey and they are so nice to drive. They look so much better in real life then watching them on youtube and for the price compared to other brands it is worth it.
You get used to the shifter dial pretty fast. I realized its actually much better for when you are in a tight spot and need to do a multiple point 180 or parallel parking. Also your bag or jacket will never get caught on a shifter, always happens when picking my backpack from passenger side in a hurry in other cars. Also not mentioned here but if you hold the parking camera button down for a few seconds and follow the instructions, the GV70 will side scan a parking spot and can do auto self parallel park, hands free. Another option many don't mention is in the menu for seat adjustment options you put your height and weight in and it will auto adjust the seat for the best healthy posture for your back and neck.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max fits fine in the wireless charging cubby. I don't think future Pro Max's got any bigger, but I didn't check. I actually secured a wireless CarPlay adapter in there as well. It all fits nicely and completely out of the way.
Just found this channel and this is the first video I've watched. I watch multiple car reviews each day and this is the perfect review! Straight to the point and factual. Features and specs presented + all competitive cars are listed in the description. Just sub'd! Looking forward to watching every video. Good luck with the channel.
Until you have to deal with Hyundai's abysmal service. If anything goes wrong be prepared to wait weeks if not months for parts and unsatisfactory work. Beautiful design, yes, lovely craftsmanship, yes, engine reliability, yes, electronics and drivetrain is where the problems on these arise. eLSD issues are all over the forums. Had one, never again!
@amigatommy7 Thanks, I was leaning towards the 4 cylinder but past knowledge guides me to the 6 cylinder. It doesn’t have to work as hard for the same level of performance. Years ago buyers would chose, for instance, a V6 Chevrolet truck over a small block V8 only to discover the V6 really didn’t return the fuel economy that they were expecting.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this crossover here unfortunately I have put down a deposit for the vinfast eco model
@@OpticalAutomotive Ah, that could be tricky. This a fabulous vehicle, though. Great review! Test drove a 2023 last week. At this price-point, all features compared, I think it wins the segment.
I’ve never owned one or Testro one but from what little bit I have looked up I thought the 0 to 60 was quite a bit faster than your claimed 7.2. I thought it was around 5.8 to 6 anyway just something I noticed.
I would buy it. I like it very much. More than anything else I've seen... Though I don't like that intense red I would choose the blue navy colour but not also on a green car but on a white... I also like a genesis I saw here which was totally orange... Does this orange colour comes to smaller models like this one here?
I just bought a 2023 2.5T GV70 Sport Prestige about 3 weeks ago. Looking at this video for the 2024 model, it looks like the 2023 and 2024 models are identical.
There was no change other than they packaged more options for certain trims for 2024, the Advance trim gets19inch standard now and Lexicon sound system along with the full digital display I believe. I've been hearing the 2025 will have a new Art Deco interior that is also planned for the g80 update, as well also a slight change to front and rear. Its been spied testing in on the road under a wrap.
5.6 seconds in other reviews as well as my 2.5. I have the same car, 2023, but with the blue grey interior. It’s well-designed and a terrific piece of machinery. My previous car was a 2013 Audi A6 sedan which also did 0-60 in 5.6. Very different engines, but the acceleration feels the same.
I like everything about the car except the grill. It's horrendous. Looks like a massive cheese grater. I'm stunned the designers thought this was a viable look.
🚨🚨CORRECTION ON SPECS🚨🚨
0-60 is 5.9 seconds
MPG is 22 City and 28 Highway
Sorry for the error :(

Congrats on your purchase!
Did you pay msrp?
How is the ambient lighting?
Do they have panoramic sunroof?

That red is stunning 😍😍😍

Thank you so much Daschy! 💙
Great video Brutha! I'm here in Bergen.

Amazing detailed and informative video. Seems like a great product from Genesis.
Thank you Deem!
Nice presentation. These cars look striking. The wife wants a new ride and these are in the running.
Definitely worth a trip to check out!
My wife bought the 6 cylinder a year ago. Likes it a lot.

iPhone 14 Pro Max does fit nicely in the charging bay.
I meant more like the bigger Galaxy note phones

might as well be carrying a flat screen tv ....lol
They just need to put hybrid in Genesis range
Does the 2.5-liter have the heads up display, if it doesn't, Genesis is cheaping out for $60,000.00.
No HUD on the 2.5 unfortunately
I have a plus phone and it fits perfectly
What’s the difference between this and last year’s model?
For this specific trim, nothing has really changed. I think for the other trims there might be slightly different wheel designs on the lower trims
Really nice I loved ❤😊
Have a plus model phone and it goes smoothly

Yes I pinned a comment correcting the numbers
@@OpticalAutomotive my apologies and I did not see
How’s the sound system?
Excellent 😎
i'm considering buying a GV70. some owners complained about dead battery after a few days of no driving. Fixed?
I’m not fully up to speed on owner issues, but I’d check with the source that you got that info from :)

The only orange I’ve seen is on the concept model of the GV80 coupe. Not sure if the color will make it to the production model
@@OpticalAutomotive Thank you

whats more comfortable this or gv80?
GV80 for sure
Agreed, roof rail are in fact up top ;-)
😂
Can you order a hitch for a bicycle rack?
That 0-60 is quite down from the 2022 model that had a 5.9. Also, MPG was 22-28 in 2022.
Your numbers are correct. I had it mixed up with another vehicle
Great. Thanks for clarifying . Compared to the Audi Q5, this 2.5T version seems like a great deal for the money.@@OpticalAutomotive
Definitely offers more value.
Why 7.2 seconds 0-60 with 300 HP BMW X3 6 seconds 0-60 248 HP😮
It's 5.9 seconds. I misspoke in the video
overpriced honestly... this trim will be like $70k out the door
No markup where I was
$59,750 list price just got mine for $54,000 and some change plus tax. That includes a $1,000 loyalty bonus, currently have G70.
what state are you in?

Those ugly, corny ass rims are a shocker since the rest of the car looks so nice. Easy fix, but damn
7.2 sec...

Yes I did make an error. Most reports are between 5.6 and 6 seconds
