Love and appreciate these long vids! Plant lovers will never get bored of watching these tours 😊 you always go to some amazing places and that chubby fish was so adorable lol thanks for always time stamping for us ☺️
I'm so jealous of all the garden centers in your area! I live in the midwest and because our winters are so rough, there are not many stores, and the plant area in big box stores is so much smaller
Right? Only luck I had was the one time I found a Cebu blue at my local Walmart. And I’ve probably only seen a monstera once in a Lowe’s. The big box stores around me really only offer overwatered pothos :(
@@ErikaLodes lol 😂 I was rooting for you to be able to stick them back together. If it was me my nerves would have been so bad 😬 I wouldn’t have been able to get them back together either 😬🤣😫🥴😂
@@jennifer_loves_8766 Wow! I am collecting snake plants too but I just started like less than 2 years... I love snake plants because they are low maintenance and can tolerate low light in my home. And they are a perfect home decor that offers height with interesting shapes of leaves.... happy planting
In these time of covid, lockdowns, curfews and being unable to get your own plant shopping fix, what do you do .....watch plant shopping videos ! .... itch scratched !!!! Thanks for sharing and making us feel better.
Awesome! I live near that Greenthumb & was going to check it out soon. I just started (today) getting into indoor gardening & since Homedepot is closer I went there instead & ended up with a few Pothos & a Fittonia.
Hi... Have you tried buying online? I know there is more fun shopping in person. I am from Florida so we have the luxury of nice plants also even in our big box stores... Happy planting
That’s it, Spring/summer 2021, I am road tripping to Cali to shop for plants! It would be so fun to meet up with you and shop. Minnesota doesn’t have anything but peace lilies and snow.
I watched the whole video! I loved it it was so soothing, and informative! That one plant (I forgot the nursery) that you saw between the Ponytail Palm and the Domino Peace Lily looked like a Pregnant Onion sp. I have a baby they are precious and when they get bigger they multiply off the side ...like cute warts!🤣🤣 thank you for taking the time to do these trips, I'm in NYC but I dont get out much and these nurseries are expensive! Big Box is basically my choice. I appreciate your effort!
I can’t believe you watched the whole thing, thank you so much! I’ll look into the pregnant onion, I always see them & wanted to know what they’re called. Thanks for letting me know hehe
The waves of certain plants avalibilty is super pronounced where I live cause there are so few suppliers that deliver to my area. When a slightly less common plant becomes avalible to order all the stores will get it in the same week lol
Love these long videos!! So much fun to see what’s available for you guys in America! I live in Australia, it’s funny to see what’s so common for you to buy but so difficult for us to find in stores 😃😄
Yes- and when you are patient to wait ...you can get the chance to have good plant selection even in our big box stores at affordable price... But after the start of pandemic, prices has increased . happy planting. Hi from Florida
I find those nurseries are really great they have some nice and healthy plant. I am not an atheriam person either but i like the white flowered ans am a huge fan of white flowers. Those moreton bay figs, are from the same region I live in Queensland Australia, Moreton bay, and they get so massive I really like them, but don't own one. great video and tour, I hope you had a wonderful day when you were filming. Great content as always.
Is there a way to tell what is a good price on a plant? I bought a baby monstera with only 5 leaves for $25 and i feel dumb. But if there's a website or something i would love to know common plant prices 😩
That would be so helpful if a site like that exists! But if not, I think watching these plant tours are a good start, since plant you tubers live in different places and depending on location plant prices vary. Also, explore your local nurseries. Soon you’ll be able to gauge what’s a fair price or not. I spent $20 on a juvenile monstera bc they are hard to find where I live, but don’t worry they grow fast and it’s super rewarding 😊
I agree w the other comments. Watching plant tours from your area would be the most helpful! But if there aren’t really that many tours of your area, Lowe’s & Home Depot videos are good bc I feel like their prices are pretty much the same everywhere. Then at least you’ll know youre getting good deals there. Don’t feel dumb about your $25 baby Monstera! I have bought a regular marble queen for $30 before & I knew better lol
I would take it out of the pot so that the soil stays intact, if possible. Like the soil will be in the form of the container it was in. Then I put a paper towel in a bowl & place the plant with its intact soil in the bowl on the paper towel. I have a clip on fan & I just clip it near the bowl in a way so that the fan can blow directly on the soil. It dries up in no time!
they are very expensive. in indonesia, malaysia and thailand i can buy it much cheaper. for example huge dieffenbachia tropical snow is only Rp30000 ($ 2) and huge staghorn ferns (Platycerium bifurcatum) only Rp300000 ($ 20)
I absolutely loved shopping with you. Thank you for taking us.
I want a Black Pagoda lipstick plant. Haven’t seen one yet in Michigan
Ms lodes is by far my favorite plant shopping u tuber 💚

@Iris Presley .... I have a huge snake plant that blooms each year... this year is the first in a while it hasn't bloomed

Wow! This is my local nursery. I found a monstera sport 🤗 I wouldn’t have thought you were close enough to make it out to a local nursery of mine.
They have really good prices I wish we had a plant center like that I would go crazy I have to order on line to get plants like some of thoses
I wish we had such plant centers somewhere in the area. ( I come from Switzerland )

Gorgeous Monsteras.❤️❤️
Your a great plant mommy 💖🙂
Wow amazing.....
OMG! You can DO some plant shopping! We would be trouble together! Fun!!!
The 2 inch pot plants are typically for terrariums
where is this again, my local home depot had a hindu rope hoya for 16.98 and it was 5x bigger than the 99.99 one!
My home depot have broken pots 😪
Thought you were there to show what we would like to see. Show the succulents and ivy !!!
Yoooo, I’ve never been this early to one of your vids 😂
Hey heyyy 🤠
Don't you just hate it when they spray paint plants
Ya /: they just wanna breathe
Almost as bad as when they superglue fake flowers right onto the growing tips of cacti 😩
Yes wahhhhh, or they glue air plants down on things like ahhhhhh! Poor babies
46:26 those are variegated peace lily 😍😍
Hi Erika succes for you
The Hindu rope at the beginning - was variegated!
I was worried when you set your camera down. Please tell me you didn’t forget it!😱
I didn’t leave it, but just seeing it sitting there while i was editing made me nervous!

Hi from BRAZIL, Amazon
Helloooo
One @16:58 is Ficus Alli 😁
Thank you!!
ZZ and cast iron are more expensive because they are extreme slow growing.
What's your recommendation for over watered plants from a store? What's the fastest way to dry out the soil before root rot sets in?
Aerate the soil. Like make it less compact where more air flows through.
I just went to Lowe’s and saw a huge ZZ for $20. The one at 33:32 is $70 😶😶
Ter Best for ever
just wondering... why are you posting so many plant tours recently?? haha
My nursery has one teneke and one ruby. Both are for sale for $60. It's killing me because I want them but ugh.
when can we get fun room videos
