I have some grey feather begonia and I loooove them! Never seen them in a nursery before so I think it's awesome they have them there. The fish at the end are adorable too!
I go to this nursery all the time, maybe once a week. I live in carpinteria, so I come south. I have gotten some great plants from them. There are some great nurseries in carpinteria. I can give you the info, you may be intrigued.
Good Morning from Oregon Erika! Its nice to see you. Hope your doing well young lady. Have you done any fun trips or planty projects this summer? That Callisa Repens( the hanging ball shaped above the Trads) is sooo cute, love how round and compact. Trads are among my faves. The Purple 💜 isn't as exciting until you pop it in the sun...then they get super deep purple, flower and are stunning! IMHO...lol Have a great week!
Erika, what is the name of the nursery you have been to that has that really really gorgeous indoor planted pond and they have a really big collection of air plants? Do you know which I mean? We are coming over from Phoenix in a few weeks and I want to see a few nurseries and the botanical garden in Pasadena. We are going to drive from Malibu-ish south to San Diego. I just love So Cal so much, I’m so excited to come back! Anyway, if you have favorite favorites like your top picks, I’d be so happy to write them down! Cactus, succulents, houseplants but not rare and expensive, outdoor, whatever places you love the most.
Yes it’s called Rainforest Flora in Torrance, CA! Also since you’re going to be in Pasadena I really like their Armstrong Garden Center. & i love love Mickey Hargitays highly recommend! La Cienega Nursery is close to Mickeys & it’s a really cool shop too. If you pass by any Green Thumb they are usually good, I like the one in Canoga Park it’s kind of off the 101 so idk if it might be too out of the way. But for sure check out Mickeys, La Cienega, & Armstrong! Lmk if you would like more recommendations, but these are my top 3
@@ErikaLodes thank you so much for your recs!! I super appreciate your enthusiasm and the time you took to share ❤️🤗 I’m so glad to be coming back…Malibu-ish and north will be in late winter early spring. So much to look forward to and new places to visit to boot!🪴
Erica, great video as always. The ficus Alii was originally introduced in Hawaii from what I read online. The koi fish at the end of this video are common in both Hawaii and Japan.
Hey Erika Is there anything specific or in particular way that you do to prepare your indoor house plants for an earthquake -I’m in southern California more or less an hour away from Los Angeles
No, it’s really bad. I’m constantly worrying about what will happen to my plants when the big one hits. But a good thing to do is anchor any tall shelves to your wall if you have them. Also don’t sleep with any heavy plants above your head. Small earthquakes have only knocked over plants that I left on ledges where they didn’t fit properly. I’m ready for the mess that will happen
Great plant tour Erika, I always look forward to your videos. Did you get the plants arranged underneath the hanging grow light to your satisfaction? See you on the next one. 🙂
Thanks for sharing this relaxing video.👌👌👌🤗🤗🤗💚💚💚🌿🌿🌿
Very nice Nursery🤗. If I live close by I would definitely visit. Thanks for sharing Erika🥰
