Fyi for future spring installs. I always drop the shocks down in and mount them to the towers b4 i jack the axle up in place just incase the spring would want to shoot out it may save you

Lucky it had the stamped steel control arms. Saved the frame from getting wrecked.
Very true. I always wondered how these tubular control arms would handle an accident...probably would have destroyed the frame points

Yes, I believe so. 2003-2009 2500 and 3500 trucks should interchange.

Short on top or bottom?
If my memory serves me right, the shorter ones were on top
