Not far from my house in East Cobb. Had no idea the Chattahoochee flooded like this. Nice flying and footage, btw!

Brings back so many memories. Lived and played in that area in the 1970s. Man has it changed.

I've been seeing seeing the same thing since the early 60's. This area has flooded periodically ever since they raised Morgan Falls Dam, the year I was born, to regulate flow out of Lake Lanier. This was all considered a flood zone back then. Then, somebody decided it was 'real estate'.

I bought a home in Marietta back in the 80s, and nearly every affordable house I looked at in South Cobb was on a 100-year flood plain.

Wowww. Randomly clicked this video because I used to live in Roswell and you're flying by the exact apartments I lived in in 1999. It was called Chattahoochee Landing though not Post + Wonder. I believe that's the side entrance so you'd be on Azalea Dr but everything looks so different from 25 years ago. Instantly recognized the buildings, those look exactly the same. Used to be able to go underneath them and there was a giant room made of foundation pillars, it was the creepiest room iv ever found. Crazy I ran into these buildings 25 years later on a random drone video.

@@deno7047 Yep, they should still be there if the buildings look the same. There's a door on the side of the buildings down towards where the building levels with the ground. Some of them were locked, but the townhouse I lived that faces towards the river and a big building was always unlocked. You know the mines of Moria in LOTR? Looked just like that area with the giant pillars that go on forever. We were also small kids, so it prob wasnt that big, but with no flashlight and a big imagination, the pitch black pillar room seemed endless.

I recall in the late '70's that a young lady went missing in Roswell. She just vanished. Maybe about three years later or so her remains were located in the river parallel to Azalea Drive a couple of miles west of Roswell Road by a fisherman whose hook got caught in the car. I had driven that route a hundred times previously obviously not knowing that a corpse lay a few feet away underwater.

Right up the street from me in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs. 6 years ago, I changed my mind on a gorgeous property that had a backyard that literally walked right into the "Hooch." I am seriously NOT regretting that decision at this moment. This video is exactly why I was so reluctant... That house has more than likely been damaged by this flood water. I feel bad for all of my neighbors, suffering water damage from this storm.

This is good usage of a drone . They' shouldn't be used to spy and stalk people.. it is an instrument to keep man safe, when he needs, to see or survey damage.. it's saving time and gas, in a rescue search situation

As we all pray for and try to help after flood, I pray all people will know the TRUTH of Revelation chapters 6-20. All this devastation is just a picture of how bad it will be on earth during the tribulation time God warns us about in Revelation. Reading Rev 16 alone should cause all people to turn to Jesus and be saved. Romans 5:8-9 God promises to save us from the wrath to come. Believe First Corinthians 15:1-4 and be saved, know Jesus and live
