This is the most devastating catastrophic event that has ever hit our region. I drive these roads here and all over Southwest VA and Northeast TN every day for work. Even though I'm not personally impacted today from property damage of my own or any immediate family and we are all safe, I'm devastated seeing every single town I know for a couple hundred miles under water. It's so much worse and so much more widespread than the news is able to report right now. There's just way too much happening way too fast to report on it. My heart is constantly breaking for the people I've come to know over the years all throughout our region. A mere human just can't process this all. It's the closest we've ever been to Noah's flood again. If you aren't from here and you have any pull with the government getting resources to help, PLEASE HELP! This will take MANY YEARS to recover from! We were already struggling in this part of the country just to pay our bills, now we've collectively lost an untold amount of homes and even more businesses that literally KEEP US ALIVE. The desperation of our situation cannot be overstated.

They also have a tendency to downplay these situations and quickly forget about it days later. It benefits the insurance companies having to pay out I'm sure. Also, imagine how much more this drains the common citizen while shareholders of Lowe's and Home Depot get 💲💲💲🏦. Gives them motivation to mess around with the weather a little bit. 😒

@@Leonard_Bast I'm on high ground (2000 ft elevation) on the Cumberland Plateau. No flooding here and very little rain. It's just wet, that's all. The flooding seen here is a combination of more rain than a year's worth, and all the hills and valleys. Low ground is always dangerous.

🥈THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age that Christ brought to purify man with His Word"
      Almighty God said
The DAYS will END, ALL THINGS in THIS WORLD will COME to NOTHING, and ALL THINGS WILL be BORN AGAIN. Remember this! Don't forget it! 🙏
There can be no ambiguity! The HEAVEN and the SUN will PASS, but My WORD will NOT! 🔴🙏
LET Me ADVISE you AGAIN. Don't RUN in vain. Wake up! REPENT and SALVATION is near. I have APPEARED among you, and MY VOICE has SOARED. My voice has soared in FRONT of you; it challenges you every day, face to face, and it is fresh and new every day. you SEE Me I SEE You; I ALWAYS TALK to YOU, and WE are FACE to FACE. Even so, you reject Me and do not know Me. My SHEEP HEAR My VOICE, but you are still reluctant! 🙏
You hesitate! Your HEART has hardened, SATAN has BLINDED your EYES, and you CANNOT SEE My glorious FACE----you are pitiful! PITIFUL! 😪
The SEVEN SPIRITS have BEEN SENT in FRONT of My SEAT to ALL CORNERS of the EARTH and I WILL SEND My MESSENGER to SPEAK to the CHURCHES. I am HONEST and HONEST; I am the GOD who searches the deepest part of the human heart. THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS to the CHURCHES, and My WORDS PROCEED from the WILL of My SON; ALL who have HEARING should LISTEN! 🙏
All that LIVE must RECEIVE! Just eat and drink them, and don't doubt. 🔴
ALL WHO SUBMIT and OBEY My WORDS WILL RECEIVE great BLESSINGS. Surely there will be NEW LIGHT, NEW ILLUMINATION, and NEW KNOWLEDGE to all who SINCERELY SEEK My FACE; everything will be fresh and new. My WORDS will appear to you at any time, and they WILL OPEN the EYES of your SPIRIT so that you can SEE ALL MYSTERY SPIRITUAL places and SEE that the KINGDOM is in the MIDST of man.
ENTER into SHELTER, and ALL GRACE and BLESSING will COME to YOU; FAMINE and PLAGUE will NOT MOVE YOU, and WOLVES, SNAKES, TIGERS, and LEOPARDS will NOT HURT YOU. YOU will be WITH Me, YOU will WALK WITH Me, and we WILL ENTER into GLORY! 🙏🌷
From "The Word Appears in the Flesh"
Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Ezekiel 2:9-10), (Revelation 18:9,13)
The Savior has returned and He or Christ has fulfilled His building of the kingdom/church on top of the rock or standing in the worthy holy place in the air/UA-cam! When He came He fulfilled what was prophesied in the book of Revelation and from there it is recorded that He changed a new name and the name of His city from ("THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐) "The Epistle to the church of Philadelphia" "The one who overcomes is I will make a pillar totemple of my God, and he shall not be removed from it forever. I will engrave on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also engrave him with my new name. (Revelation 3:12). ... "The Reign of the Prince of Peace" "For a baby boy is born and he will rule over us. He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." (Isaiah 9:6). ... "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their SHEPHERD. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17).
"They said together, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the throne!" (Revelation 7:10). ... So God's sheep and the right people He created have come to His holy city the New Jerusalem that will only last on earth for 1,000 years "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐

I have been looking to purchase a 25-50 acre+ farm in the mountains of NC or NE TN and have been surprised by the amount of properties where homes have be constructed at the lowest point between mountain ranges in valleys and run-off zones. I have considered these likely to be negatively impacted by flooding, and I wouldn't be surprised if a number of these homes were not negatively impacted by this flooding. The folly of man.

You can't go by that. You will see water seeping out of rocks everywhere in the upper elevations without any flooding. It can cause washouts and landslides and sinking of roads and properties. You can't generalized what is good or bad based on just lower elevations. Winter time can be especially challenging. Get south facing property or you will be in a freeze much longer.

I am confused. Where did the water come from? I live right near the water in Florida so I get why it flooded my area, but I guess a river overflowed? A dam break? I was chilling out on my patio and there was just a lot of wind so I went inside to go to bed. Within 20 minutes, I went outside one more time and there was 2 feet of water covering everything like a river. It happened so fast. Such devastation from one storm. So sad.
