    Brian, there's no need to try and get her to stop the murder of the bugs, she's like a kid in a candy store who gets more excited with each new flower. She loves her gardens and I envy all her energy. Better get weeding your garden, Brian. :-)

    Adore your videos! You grow many of my favorite things....daylilies, echinaceas, lupines, lilies, catmint and more. My garden is full of most of what's in yours. You have those awful Japanese beetles..... my nemesis is gophers. They will eat and destroy the whole plant!
    Brian, I know you're not an abuser but those jokes about smacking your lovely better half aren't terribly funny. Especially since some of the people who enjoy both of you, may have experienced being hit first hand. Just a thought.
    But please keep up the good work and funny banter... I do enjoy you!

    Have you considered ignoring the beetles while making videos? While I am interested to see what you have blooming, the past several videos have had the flower content diluted by beetle chasing and killing. Kinda hard to want to sit for 53 minutes when so much of that is more beetle battle instead of seeing flowers.

    • @Notthelizard
      @Notthelizard 2 роки тому +9

      Her antics do add to the fun. There are so many other boring strictly tours only on other channels. Very boring tours. We come here for the conversation, the banter, the antics, everything else. A tour of lillies only would be pretty boring to those of us who aren't addicted to lillies...

    • @thomaslueger801
      @thomaslueger801 2 роки тому +10

      She's doing it "when you see it" which is the only sensible thing to do. Bugs, weeds, deadheading - some tasks you either do it right when you see the need or the bugs, weeds, deadheads will get ahead of you! I think it's useful to see her "real life" gardening as opposed to walking around in a white Victorian dress and clucking over flowers as if they appeared magically and never needed attention and effort and constant assessing.
