Hi Lisa. These crispy drummies look so good. I could hear the crunch as you bit into it. I bought some gluten free self raising and plain flours. They are both a very fine and silky grade of flour. I have yet to use them in a coating mix. For chicken I use a dry Portuguese style of rub. It has sweetness, spiciness and everything in between to provide a great flavour for chicken and pork. I'm still using the ninja foodi, so I'll have to settle for whatever crisp it can do. A great demonstration today, cheers 😀🤤👍🇦🇺
Hi John, I find the finer the flute the better-For a thin coating. Especially good if you’d going to add a sauce after. Sauce gets caught in the crispy nooks and crannies! 👍👍😋. Your seasoning sounds yummy! You can get a Can get crisp
Good morning Lisa! I know unfair comparison but how would you say this unit compares to the ninja grill for chicken wings? I have the old ninja foodi and the xl grill but would eventually like an appliance that does both haha. Those wings looked amazing thanks again.
Hello. I saw this video, and it made my mouth water as well. I was wondering how would one do this for the old ninja foodi that has the separate lids? Would we steam first, then air crisp, or vice versa? And for how long for each mode? The chicken legs turned out so delicious looking, and I really want to try this with the corn starch method. I really like the one lid ninja foodi, and I am thinking about getting the 8 quart model, as we have the 6.5 now. Been loving your videos and enjoy the atmosphere and energy you bring. Keep up the great job and God bless.
Hi Ace Roller, I would steam first then air crisp. I'm going to start t Thanks Ace Roller!ing the same technique in the older model foodi-I did do a baked potato using steam and then. air crisp. I cook these legs for 18-20 minutes usually depending on the size. So I will experiment a little using different times. I may try steaming for 10 minutes then air crisping 400F or 425F for 10 minutes-just gonna play with the ties and see what happens and I usually do only one piece of chicken to se how it comes out. Thanks
Looks delicious, as always! I have had the hardest time, lately, finding corn starch. Been to Publix 3X - all sold out! I’m going to try almond flour or keto flour I found at Publix and see how that works. Thank you!
Looks good the Ninja you are using is our next purchase do you live in Naples Florida I have a brother that lives there he and his wife retired and moved there they love it.
All of the Badia brand seasonings are top notch! I always stock up when I go to Publix. For some reason, the Badia section in the Walmarts in Georgia have disappeared
Hi Russell, I went the other day and couldn't find any at Walmart-will check at Publix again as I am almost out of it-lol. I just piked up there 14 season-its for chicken-haven tried it yet but sure it will be great! thanks!
Not got a question ma'am when you cook the whole chicken you said it was rubbery and it wasn't really good how come you cook the legs here the same way but these seem to be a lot better than the whole chicken that you could why is that
think for me it comes down to surface area or what s on the outside -see every bite on the leg had a mouthful of delicious season where the larger chicken does not. So I'm thinking I don't notice it as much . But its still there. but please give it a try -this is just my opinion and everyone and everyone tastes buds are different.
Made these chicken legs on my live but figured would do separate video-the Ninja Foodi one lid - steam Crisp-makes these legs nice and crispy!
They look amazing, thanks!
@@benwarful thanks!
Lol! Lisa your expression says it all. It must be delicious 🤤. ❤️🥰😂. Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰

Hi Jeanne, I did the baked potato 2cups water, steam for 30 then air crisp for 25 minutes. Came out great! Thanks!
Recently purchased orange pepper at Winn Dixie. Used it on a cornish hen. Very good. Did it in the Ninja.

Hi Chris, I like this appliance best for wings. I am going to try to attempt to get same results with older appliances.

Hi Tonya,
I picked some up at Aldi as I couldn't find it at Pubix. I haven't worked with nut flours_ should give it a try. Thanks Tonya!
Title says confetti cake, but the thumbnail shows chicken legs. Another great video, no matter what you call it!
Good catch-just fixed it-thanks!
I sooo want one of these. I have last years model but I want this ONE!!
👼🏻💐💞
Lisa, this appliance is really nice. I’m curious what the next model will have.
Love ❤️ the finger licking
Lol thanks!
Is it better to use steam & crisp over air fry/air crisp?
Looks good the Ninja you are using is our next purchase do you live in Naples Florida I have a brother that lives there he and his wife retired and moved there they love it.
Yes -live in Naples right now-I'm a travel nurse working down here for season-my home base is upstate NY.
Naples is very nice.
How spicy as far as like black pepper or chili powder is the tropical seasoning?
Hi will you be able to achive crispy pork belly if you use the airfry of 14 in1 foodi thankyou.

@@pressurecrisp try the Badia Completa seasoning in the green shaker too! I'm convinced there's some sort of illegal drug in it, it's that addictive!
@@willrusso lol. I’ll add it to my order.

Hi Celle, I tried plain chicken breast came out juicy. Dark meat cones out so much better.
@@pressurecrisp 😅🤣 you couldnt convince my hubby to eat dark meat..I dont know why, i love wings and legs.
@@celleduffel1533 Bummer-he is missing out-lol
Do i need to add water at the bottom?
Yes at least 1/2 cup.
Put the rice flour into a coffee grinder.
Good idea -thanks Darren!
