There is a key difference between these two men. See, both their plans succeeded and they both defeated Robert Downey Jr. The difference is, when it happened for Thanos, the changes he enacted were temporary and short-lived. When it happened for Oppenheimer, the changes he enacted were permanent and long-lasting.

@@josephstalin3170 it's just true that having the first verse forces you to introduce the battle causing the first rapper to start out with the more obvious punchlines while you can go a bit deeper in the final one AND have the last word that is gonna be more memorable and well chosen. But still, that doesn't automatically win you the battle and frankly, Oppenheimer doesn't win this one because of it but because he had great bars and his portrayal was incredibly well executed; which Thanos' was not.
