I like how star lord slowly started takin the battle more seriously as he keeps mentioning Peter tragedy/trauma he experienced and even roasting his own team while battling just like how they always takes jabs at each other in other shows, movies and even video games with lines like “You look like something groot will take out on a date,” Peter went for the Puns while Jack went for the hard hitting lines and both of them had amazing flow with the final battle ending in Jack losing is hilarious but him still going for one last roast before his ships sinks for good.

In it's series he matter, but outside in the sea of characters he's no Dr Fate, Stark or Reed.

This battle is truly a triumph of your strength as a creator Dustin, it has truly pushed beyond anything you’ve previously made. The performances were INSANE. Freeced killed it as Sparrow, and Mike and Isaac were an immense team and captured Star-Lord’s energy to a T. Everyone else involved did such a stellar job. The writing was good too, whoever did that should probably get a medal or something idk.

I've been listening to the audio every single hour for the last 2-3 days. It is something i would come back to and be bopping my head harder the more times i listen to it. Both of you are unique in their own way and this battle is a great example of that, this one is gonna be stuck in my heads for weeks. Honestly, that "your works are so much better than the other person's works" style of praise has always rubbed me the wrong way. Even when you're the one receiving the compliment, it just feels like you're being used as an excuse to insult others.

I am not used to find rap battles that are *well written* -- aside from of course the masters, and at least one Disney Princess battle. There's so many that try to ape the artform, thinking it's about a ton of swearing and generic name-calling, but you put a TON of thought and craft into these lines -- you thoroughly understand the artform and I'm gobsmacked by the writing as well as the flow, the delivery and the visuals. Kudos, and you've got a subscriber!
P.S. I think the only detail where Epic Rap Battles has the edge is that they're a bit slower, thus giving more time to digest the burn that's just been delivered. It will take me a few rounds to truly appreciate all the details of the lyrics. I'm not certain that the speed is necessarily a flaw -- might be just a different demographic that's used to a faster type of music and can pick up on your lyrics in real-time -- but that's the one aspect that would make me judge you *slightly* lower than ERB. If even.
Honestly this and other battles people make today are arguably above past seasons quality. This is my opinion, of course, but many of today’s battles can rival or even surpass past used characters and/or matchups.
We usually follow this ERB style channels because ERB does like 6 videos a years and we hunger for more, not that your other videos arent good, its just that ERB is usually another level, but this, this is different. Its high up there with the greatest ERB videos, really congratulations.
I've been coming back to this song since it came out, and I JUST NOW finally get the line about Sparrow overboard and "flipping the bird," so either I'm stupid or these lyrics are utter genius. Probably both.
The visuals are amazing and this entire song is a bop, really loves how it plays into both of the music genres often related to these two, great job! Part 6 was awesome as hell, and I hope the next part is even better!

I very much enjoyed the visuals of the ending, with sparrow standing on the crows nest because the rest of it is a submarine. It reminds me of the scene where he gently glided into port doing the same thing

This was teased back in December to keep us hyped for when Part 6 was going to conclude, and this video’s production is some of the best work I’ve seen from you, Dustin! Postponing its release to this year was the right thing to do, and your rap battle series’s sixth part has a phenomenal closure with such a well-made video. Your battles keep getting better! Round one was like most of your other live action works, but during the middle of the second round, the action made this battle feel like a film of its own with the interactions going on. And round three continued that interaction aspect. Shoutout to everyone involved in this project, from the voice actors to the body actors to the people who worked of the production aspects of this video! You outsold with Part 6; that’s no lie! For who won, that would go to Captain Jack Sparrow. That second verse from his side OBLITERATED Star Lord, and even is Star Lord took (a slight) victory in the third round, that wasn’t enough for his performance to beat Jack Sparrow’s (who also has the victory in the first round). Everyone deserves a pat on the back for how incredible this is, and I’ll be there for this battle’s official UA-cam poll and also the Part 6 online form poll (assuming it hasn’t happened). I hope Part 7 is just as remarkable with its catalogue as this part was.

There's so many that try to ape the artform, thinking it's about a ton of swearing and generic name-calling, but you put a TON of thought and craft into these lines -- you thoroughly understand the artform and I'm gobsmacked by the writing as well as the flow, the delivery and the visuals. Kudos, and you've got a subscriber!
P.S. I think the only detail where Epic Rap Battles has the edge is that they're a bit slower, thus giving more time to digest the burn that's just been delivered. It will take me a few rounds to truly appreciate all the details of the lyrics. I'm not certain that the speed is necessarily a flaw -- might be just a different demographic that's used to a faster type of music and can pick up on your lyrics in real-time -- but that's the one aspect that would make me judge you *slightly* lower than ERB. If even.
Honestly this and other battles people make today are arguably above past seasons quality. This is my opinion, of course, but many of today’s battles can rival or even surpass past used characters and/or matchups.

We usually follow this ERB style channels because ERB does like 6 videos a years and we hunger for more, not that your other videos arent good, its just that ERB is usually another level, but this, this is different. Its high up there with the greatest ERB videos, really congratulations.

I very much enjoyed the visuals of the ending, with sparrow standing on the crows nest because the rest of it is a submarine. It reminds me of the scene where he gently glided into port doing the same thing

This was teased back in December to keep us hyped for when Part 6 was going to conclude, and this video’s production is some of the best work I’ve seen from you, Dustin! Postponing its release to this year was the right thing to do, and your rap battle series’s sixth part has a phenomenal closure with such a well-made video. Your battles keep getting better! Round one was like most of your other live action works, but during the middle of the second round, the action made this battle feel like a film of its own with the interactions going on. And round three continued that interaction aspect. Shoutout to everyone involved in this project, from the voice actors to the body actors to the people who worked of the production aspects of this video! You outsold with Part 6; that’s no lie!
For who won, that would go to Captain Jack Sparrow. That second verse from his side OBLITERATED Star Lord, and even is Star Lord took (a slight) victory in the third round, that wasn’t enough for his performance to beat Jack Sparrow’s (who also has the victory in the first round). Everyone deserves a pat on the back for how incredible this is, and I’ll be there for this battle’s official UA-cam poll and also the Part 6 online form poll (assuming it hasn’t happened). I hope Part 7 is just as remarkable with its catalogue as this part was.

Not that Much people got this but when he said "drowning your sorrows like they're dying at sea" is a reference to in the beginning of Guardings of the galaxy 3 when he was Drunk because of loosing Gomara.
I swear the way that Starlord sings at 0:43 feels like a reference to something, but I can't tell for certain if it's continuing the Maroon Five joke from the last two lines or if it's something else, or if I'm just imagining things
