This is excellent! I live in The Bahamas and I find this very helpful. Thank you for posting.
This should be a basic concept. We all have to get instruction from a qualified structural engineer for the Architectural drawing. The strength of the concrete will depend on the country to country. Standard norms are ok. It may be changed in practical conditions. Quality of mixing water, Quality of the different types of steel rods with different manufacturers, Soil conditions wind force, and weather conditions. Appreciate the presentation
thank you so much. you are so helpful. keep up the great work and thank you for thinking of non civil engineers as well.
This is very good Engineer on earth may God provide more life for him.
I like it 👍
Loving these basic videos, even as a Civil engineer !!
Thank you for your usual succinct teachings, those this measurement for 2-3 story building also apply for 1 story building rcc footings
I learnt important things in construction of buildings..Surely it helps non civil engineering people ,great insight and while constructing their own houses
Am really appreciate your content Sir May God gives yu a more life
💯💯 from Tanzania 🇹🇿
These are good notes for preliminary design, safety and economics will determine actual final results
Any scholarship in construction am ready I like the way u do, u are not selfish,I have learnt something from u, salaam alaykum
Sir your content is very good and you are very consistent..Thank you professor from the philippines
Thank you so much for such great information. God bless you and your family!!!!!
Thanks very much for lectures. I live in Sierra Leone west Africa.
Very important information about Column nd it's footings.
Thank you Sami usthaz.
Your tutorials are very helpful
Usually when asked people will hide such information and not share.
Pls usthaz, can i get any Mail ID ?
Is there any book or pdf available related to on site knowledge ?
I mean from setting layout, excavation, foundation, shuttering and information related to structure.
I am a on site supervisor.
Pls help sir
Great job love your explanations
Sir very clear explanation you done I'm not engr but I got an idea to you tnx very much sir God bless from Danny Tala of Philippines
Thanks for the advise it much usefull.
You guys are highly knowledgeable
Great Work Sir
Thanks a lot for very informatif lecture.
Useful content i'll be following you all mi life...
Great work sir.
thank you sir, it is very informative
Hi brother so happy of your videos very much helpful. referring the videos form chennai. thanks
Am well convinced and interested in ur teachings and they are true,
🙏Thank You fir the valuable information , searching for🙏
you engineering problem solver. god bless you sir
You explain everything very clearly. Much thanks.
Thank you sir for the info.
Civil engineers now have software to plan which size of footing and the size & number of steel bars to use.
I have a renovation now in my two story house, I used 1x1 size of footing and depth for additional colons using 6 16mm and 2 12mm steel bars for colon, my structural engineer said that’s still too weak that the house might collapse because they base on the civil engineering software computations.
Thank you for your help! Having these walkthoughs for several scenarios is great. These are stand alone columns.
Any guidance on building with footings and also rebar bends?
Hi sir this is great stuff ,I'm just a blick layer but with your teaching I feel already like an engineer thanks
Good Info. Thanks
good information
I advise all of you to get professional civil engineers on your projects, so many factors come into play in footing design, there are NO standard footing details everything depends on that particular project, it can end up being catastrophic In the long run if you design footings yourself without engineering knowledge.
Thank you for your explanation
Very good teaching . It is better to write your notes little bigger than you write at present , in small letters .So that we can see in mobile ...
Good informetion for genaral peopls
Thanks. This is very informative. I'm planning to renovate my house and make it 2 storey with mezzanine floor in between for bed rooms.the top would be a roofdeck. I will use steel as columns and beam. The columns would be on top of the rcc footings/1ft above-ground column. Thanks.
What is this rcc

My understanding is that the flood area should have a much depth foundation, in addition the foundation should be covered with a heavy duty construction plastic to reduce humid. I used this method for my guest house.
Good and well understandable
Very very good sir...
Its true explanation thank you
Keep it up
Very informative
Excellent 👌
Very INFORMATIVE
Vv nice vdu
For footing 45mm clear cover is low i think it is better to make it75mm. because the footing is underground and always under soil pressure & moisture content
Moderate 50mm . Severe extreme conditions morethan 50mm
Not soil pressure , it's based on environmental conditions mild moderate severe extreme
Thank you
Thank you so very very much
Your explanation specialy on footing design just like a good mason but not an enginerr.
thanks fir the info
Sir, is it possible you make a chart or a table for all the requirements for beams and columns, their size, spacing, steel dia, number of steel bars, size of footing, type of footing, depth of footing, sbc, conc grade etc.. for domestic and commercial buildings from G+1 up to G+10? It will be very helpful and we will appreciate.
I start to build my house in the philippines i want to elevate from the road elevation may be 60cm my question is i need to put beam or not if need to put beam what is the hight of the beam from the footing thank you
Thanks sami
The information should come with give also the formula so that civil enginering could clear undertand. 🙏
Great
Hi again. Thank you for all your work. Question, 1. i'm designing a 3 to 6 floor building for a Shore Front Resort. I can i present this method to my local Civil Engineer? 2. Can you demonstrate the method used for an inner Beam Pillar Structure? Thank you again
👍👍🔥
Thank you sir
I'm from Bangladesh
Super
sir do videos on desine column & beams also
Thanks for the information sir, my I request the design slab reinforcement for residential, 2 to 6 floor
Poli
Audio is perfect
Thanks for the tutorial. So, which standards do you use? Eurocode or ?
Good but we need design computation for rebars to prove if it's safe for building permit that's the important
Dear sir make video about beam and slab design also. Thank you so much
Explain beams and slabs
No. of bars = No. of ads in this video
İf i had overlap in the middle is there the same thing to tie!!!??just i need closly at the bottom and top?? Thank u
O
If I want to use 6 inches block for a storey building, can I use column and plinth beam of 6inches width by 9inches depth
thanks
degree of cone depend on direction of rotation. so hook cone is 45 degree as per drawing.
How do you calculate structural loads to a building, what formula is used to calculate structural loads of bldg?
👍👍👌👌
Ran Ram bhai
Thanks sir for the information.
How about the design of the beam, can you give also the design for it? Thank yot.
My own nodlege in footing number 3 is qualify 150 is good size of footing
Can we use 9" X 12" column with dia 12mm rods-8no.s for G+1 residential building?
Sure...4ft×4ft base
i have a question, is mesh footing necessary for all columns
Please make a vedio for basment details
What is the length of the bend of bar upside in the single mesh ? Like you mentioned @10:35
Please explain from footing to slap
Great videos ! In Belize, for a 12 by 12 inches columns, they all place 3/8`` ties. Should it be a problem? Same space between ties? The 150 mm space between ties at the top and bottom, is this about the top 1/3 of the column and bottom 1/3 of the column?
All the structures following indian standard codes or British codes ?
What if inclined surface like two footings on high side and two footings on the lower side like on hill what is required design? I'm not civil engineer
helo sir can u make a video for this kind of topic but for single storey house only thanks sir
Sir is it okay to use 9"X12" column for two storey house
we need a design computation to know if the rein bars size are right...not assuming bars only
My question to you is what if we use spot welding for rebar instead of trying?
How can you give such designs without analyzing the loads coming on the structure which again depends on type of structure
Oh my god, I am astonish oh his design result.
Please give video for eccentric footing design IAM a site engineer thankyou
Size of the footings should be based on the load on structural cant be asuume
Sir this depth include blinding concrete or not?
12x12 inch column cannot conceal in wall so what to do
how can I make columns between 18 feet gap for three storey building ?
How to take rebar
Footing bars:- dia 12 mm
Columns :- dia 12mm
