It is a good effort for those who are interested in the basic design requirements of reinforced concrete. I would like to suggest that wrong and right design should be based on industrial codes which will be more helpful for better understanding in which assurance in guaranteed for not denying the industrial standards. Mentioning without such standers right or wrong are having no bases.
hi there mr engineer !Please tell me at the base of the columns that little step concrete is better to pour in the same time with the slab under ?or just add a little later !What is the dimension of that one ?what high need to be ?
Funny seeing this, coming from a guy that tied steel for 15 years. I've never seen staggered splices on columns. And question: aren't 135* bands for seismic applications? And number of bands isn't called out by load. Edit: is not isn't, excuse me.

Conection of rebar in column you have incorect. You may joint this with double welded rebars from both sides and conected rebar insert to the edge. Your solution produce parazitical bending moments
plz can u tell me about which software do u use to make things looking realistic i am civil engineer in pakistan i will suggest my friends to your channel
@@NHAXANHVIETNAM The overlapping in my country, where buildings are designed to presumably withstand 8 degrees on the Richter scale, is between 50-60 times the diameter of the rebars.
Nonsense, simply weld the iron and make an extension. Important places such as in thin columns, the bearing beams should be treated with an anti-corrosion agent. Certainly our modern primitive way of building is far behind the ancient buildings. It has a service life until the steel wears out.

Your lateral ties at 135° are alternating sides every run yet if what you’re saying for everything else, they should be changing every 90° instead of 180°.

Is it true that soil should not touch the rebars?

then you are doing it wrong for 15 years.

As an engineer myself this is the correct way, however doing this during construction is almost impossible and rarely happens.
You are very wrong
Coupling is better for lapping in column
Ok sir
This demonstration is done in which software sir ??????
Please is it proper for lapping in foundation before DPC?
We want video on civil aspect of machine foundation like; (use of TMT bar and it's distence calculation)
Please do same animation for beam & slab
Thanks for your animation video
Thank for your suggestion
👌😊👍👍
Thanks
On tall buildings, I've always wondered how they extended the length of support columns that have rebar inside.
Are your specifications according to ACI code?
Excelente!

Play in 2x speed. You are welcome 😀

8:26 да такие ломы только на завода можно погнуть!
Please guide how to make sweeming pool construction.
Yes sir. We will make it in next time
why is it that you’ll need to over lap if you have sufficient length of rebar? why the rebar does not go all the way to the footing?
@9:14 you award bell for a correct column but the braces do not have the 135° bend in them
And they don't all alternate
I think @ 9:10 to 9:25, lateral ties are incorrectly placed as they don't have ends in 135 degrees bend.
thanks alot for your video..on my way to built my own house..subs done

@2:01, on the right column, what are the angle and length of bent rebars? Also what is the minimum overlap size of the 2 bars pink and black? Thanks
Thanks for your question. The slope (angle) is 1:6 and the length is 30d . And the minimum size of 2 bars overlap is 12mm diameter

It should be around 50d for M30 grade concrete and Fe500 rebar

Welding iron ,make iron hard and weak
Se dice que las varillas de unión deben llegar hasta el suelo y no flotando como esas.
¿Por favor da tu opinión?
Es correcto.
La dimensión del traslape, la dimensión entre flejes , la rotación del remate de los flejes.
Interesting.
For 200mmX200mm concrete columns, what size should the ties be?
The ties should be 6-8mm sir
@@NHAXANHVIETNAM thanks
What l meant was square size. 150mmX150mm or 100mmX100mm?

А на практике это проблематично реализовать, так что это все глупости!

This works for square stirrups but rectangular ones have to be 180°, obviously.
