@timtubemusic "so many people missed that." Because it wasn't really a big thing with Bonham, and only worn on stage in 1975 I believe. I might be wrong there. To be honest, a bowler hat is not the first thing I think of with John Bonham.
Lovely reaction Stacey . No need to apologise for the tears . I'm a 60 year old man , grew up with Zeppelin and every time I watch this epic performance the tears are shed ...
55 years old here. Goosebumps and tears every time. Nancy and Anne Wilson, Jason Bonham, the orchestra, the choir, and three of the members of Led Zeppelin. ZOSO I’ve been listening to this song since I was about 12 years old. Both versions are absolutely incredible. I have no more words!
Don't apologize for shedding tears at this absolute masterpiece. Great art should inspire strong emotions. Such a beautiful and amazing job at covering this song. The arrangement is nothing short of stellar.
No one knew Jason was going to be playing drums that evening, Robert Plant was moved to tears seeing his best friends son playing that night wearing his dads famous bowler hat ,and the memories of his dear friend Jon Bonham flowed through Plants eyes as he watched on.. At the after party Robert Plant approached the Wilson sisters and said that was the best version of that song he ever heard.
They had asked Jason to attend with them to represent his father. Of course he couldn't, but so as not to spoil the surprise, he only said "sorry, I've got a gig that night." They had no idea.
Best tribute to any band ever! And the bowler hats the choir wearing ad well as Jadon Bonham! I have followed heart since their first album! Heart loves Led Zepplin and when they played a tour a couple years ago, I saw Heart in concert with Jason Bonham playing with them doing mutiple Zepplin songs! Fantastic! Also saw Zepplin in 1975 twice! One of my favorite bands, as well as Heart. It is wonderful to see you react like myself and millions of others have felt about Zepplin and Heart. The 70s were such a great time to growup with such incredible music! Feel grateful to have seen these bands live!
Some days all you need in your life is a little Ann and Nancy Wilson to mark it a great day! What makes it better is they pay homage to one of the greatest bands to EVER grace a stage. Robert Plant always says he HATES when people cover their songs but in this one he was in tears by the end. The drummer is the son of Zepplin drummer Jon Bonham. The boller hat he wears is a nod to Jon’s trademark hat he always wore.
True, Robert Plant asked Jason to attend in the place of his father. Jason told him he was busy that night with a prior engagement that he could miss. What he didn't tell Robert that his engagement was to be there and perform with Ann and Nancy. He played his father's actual drum kit while wearing his father's Bowler Hat.
This is the CBS version, which was edited for time, you may want to view the full version which includes additional verses and reactions by LZ. They didn’t know Jason was going to be there, they’d invites him and he said he had another commitment, so it was a surprise. Robert Plant is Jason’s godfather. Jason is using his dad’s drum kit and wearing his signature bowler hat. Okay now you need to checkout Heart. I recommend starting with Magic Man, Barracuda, Crazy on You, Alone, These Dreams, really all their songs are great. BTW Ann (vocals was 62) and Nancy (guitar) is 58. They’re in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
@@EsElAlessi the full version does cut off the opening when Jason Bonham and Ann and Nancy Wilson are introduced, but shows the entire performance. ua-cam.com/video/LFxOaDeJmXk/v-deo.htmlsi=yXhit6xtxoWe9HD0
The fact that CBS edited this magnificent performance goes to show why network tv isn't serious and has lost so much viewership. Surely better planning and editing elsewhere could have preserved the full song without butchering.
Led Zeppelin did a reunion concert celebration day with Jason as the drummer. It's a must see. It's awesome to see older Led Zeppelin hasn't lost a step.
I have watched this video hundreds of time, I cry every time. Ann and Nancy Wilson are powerhouses. Nancy is one of the finest acoustical guitar players in the world, and Ann is the voice, period.
I have watched this many times. I'm not crying, you're crying, now you have me crying. How could anyone not have tears watching this. Heart is Amazing, been a fan since the beginning.
I've seen this performance too many times to count and have the audio on playlists galore and watching it still gets me teary eyed. That's the power of music with (forgive the pun) heart.
Best heartfelt reaction on the internet !! You are beautiful inside and out and your reactions are priceless ! A ton of Heart discography you will love such as the obvious Crazy On You , Magic Man , Barracuda , Alone , and These Dreams . You can enjoy one of the best voices ( most range and power ) in rock n roll history !
**Ann singing with Alice in Chains is another phenomenal experience!! Layne Staley is my favorite singer of all time, and Heart knew the powerhouse vocals that Layne was too!!
You nailed my sentiments exactly. 70’s music has the best soulful resonance of any era IMHO but that was my late teens so I’m terribly biased. I’ve watched this video 100 times and I get misty eyed every time. I purchased this version from ITunes and crank it up every time it plays.😊
The guy with the solo. Imagine the stress levels playing IN FRONT OF Jimmy Page, but he did a great job. Very emotional for me too because I grew up with these boys, they are in my blood. I was 15 in ‘69 so I soaked up everything from that best of all eras.
That was respected English guitarist Shane Fontayne who among other things toured with Bruce Springsteen in the band Bruce put together after he temporarily disbanded the E-Street Band.
I was 6 in 69 so I want to thank you old people for making me feel like the young one here lol ❤ Stacey you did an awesome job with this classic. I’m sure we all had something in our eyes. I know I did.
FROM Nancy's beautifully played acoustic intro ,Ann's powerful emotional vocal, the killer guitar lead break , Jason on drums ,the fantastic choir and band ,WOW ! they did the song ,Led Zeppelin and John Bonham proud , the bowler hats were great too. I never tire of this performance, and your reaction is heart warming to us old guys. Thanks.
Ann and Nancy Wilson, Heart,a powerhouse group. I grew up with them in the 1970’s. Kick ass Rock and roll. I suggest, Barracuda as an introduction. Your welcome.❤
Robert had invited Jason, but Jason told him he had a previous engagement and couldn't make it. So, it was a complete surprise to the group when he walked out on stage.
I have no idea what Robert was thinking of course but i bet a good deal of it was about his long lost band mate and best friend ❤ Ann Wilson has one of the best voices in rock an seams to only improve with age ✌️🙂
Gotta check out "Barracuda" by Heart (Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson). Also, Robert Platt invited Jason to the awards and he said he couldn't make it, so it was a surprise to the band.
I too am watching this balling my eyes out 😭😭😭😭😭😭for three reasons: one I play drums. Two because I can imagine John Bonham looking down on his son with tears in his eyes and three because my uncle who has been gone now for 21 years introduced me to LED ZEPPELIN and I can feel his spirit as well! I definitely feel like a part of my soul just fly off to Heaven!
The trio invited Jason Bonham to the tribute and he told them he already had had made plans to do something and couldn’t be there. Needless to say they were unaware of his plan. This cover was done to perfection.
My she's a very emotional young lady. I love it. At 61 and having seen all the greatest bands of that time, it's heartwarming to see her feel what my generation felt when we played our 8 track tapes and vinyl records. Yes before cassettes and sony walkman . Keep on this journey. There is sooo much beautiful music to hear and experience.
Its most legendary song of rock and roll history. It is Perhaps the story of the blues guitar British birth of rock writen in stone. And heart did incredible
I love this cover and tribute. It is crazy to me that Ann still sounded this great at age 62. Heart was a great band and proved women had a place in rock and roll.
Beautiful reaction Stacey! Heart is also an iconic and legendary band! Here are a couple of Heart songs that would be a good Intro to get familiar with the band Heart. 1970's Heart - "Barracuda" 1980's Heart - "What About Love?" They have so many great songs! Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart rock!!!
I have and listened to their discography back to back and a fan since the 80's, and i'd be hard pressed to find a song by them i dislike... And while their 80's era will always have a special place in my heart, my absolute favorite song has to be Dog And Butterfly... and incidentally it's Ann's favorite too
Absolutely! Heart idolized Zeppelin from the jump! And it shows! THEY TOO have the ability to write badass heavy crunchers like "Barracuda" or "BeBe Le Strange" whilst also crafting gentle rainshower songs like "Dreamboat Annie" and "Dog& Butterfly" and even combine the two sides in "Love Alive"! AND like Zeppelin they have the charisma-drenched performances!
There is absolutely no need to apologize! I’ve watched this 20+ times and I cry every time. Your words are perfect. I love their reaction and it moves me so much. Wow! Just incredible!! Thank you for being human and having deep feelings. You are what we fans want to watch!!♥️
Now you’ve seen Heart, time to see them in their early years, please watch the 1978 live version of “Crazy on You,” this showcases Nancy’s guitar work and Ann’s voice!
I just turned 60 this year and grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. I didn't think I could love this tribute anymore than I do, but watching your reaction made it even better. Thank you. You have a new sub and I so look forward to following your channel. ✌🏼❤🎶
One of the best songs of all time written and performed by one of the best bands of all time, covered by another one of the best bands of all time in tribute to and in front of one of the best bands of all time. There's no way you could go wrong with a performance like that. The only thing that would make it better is if JB was still with us to see it.
Led Zep and Heart were contemporaries and admired one another. Plant is critical of people who try to cover this song but he favored this one and likes Ann and Nancy Wilson.
I was able to hold my tears until they unveiled the choir, right after the guitar solo. Like you said, that was just overwhelming! By the way, Jason Bonham became like a son for the band, especially for Robert Plant after his father passed away. The band invited him to be there that night but Jason said that he couldn't be there because he already had something else to do that night. This was a lie. It was a total surprise for the band when Jason was introduced just before the song and you can see the band's reaction when they saw him: _"You?!! You liar!"_
If you don’t shed tears when watching this epic performance you’re not human! So now you have a little taste of Heart. It’s time for you to check them out. Power house vocals on the song “Alone” please react!
i consider Heart's tribute to Led Zeppelin one of the finest live performances ever. its just so wonderful in every way. Another is "Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale, live in Denmark 2006". its another live performance with an orchestra. its a song ive been in love with my entire life and this performance is just, magical edit: dont forget the kleenex if you give it a listen. lol
Nights in White Satin as well for this effect. Recently watched a show where the band wasn't all that impressed by the song, one of them went out and brought back some instrument and along with that and multiple tracks of their voices, it becomes something special
Best cover ever! The 3 remaining members of Zeppelin were so emotional! Heart is a fantastic band by the way and have done many Zeppelin songs! It was a surprise that Jason Bonham was going to be on drums!!!!! Robert was not being critical...he was crying!
Ann and Nancy Wilson were Zeppelin fans from Day One... They did a tour in 2013 called the "Heartbreaker" Tour. Their entire second set was ALL Zeppelin songs, with Jason Bonham on drums. It was REALLY great!! 🤘😎
Heart is a legendary rock band from the 70's (formed in 73) and 80's they still tour and their last studio album was released in 2016 (this one had 2 new songs the rest were re-interpretations of previous works), in 2012 they released an album of entirely new work.
This is an amazing tribute to greatest rock band ever! The way the song continues to add steps to the stairway until they finally get to rock heaven is incredible!
I love your reaction. I felt the same way when I heard this for the first time so emotional❤Heart Crazy on you.. Magic Man. And Barracuda are a must for Heart fans❤Much love from Canada❤🇨🇦
This performance brought tears to my eyes, the original bands reaction to Jason Bonham on drums, and the tears in their eyes to the collaboration with the choir, a truly legendary performance.
There is a longer version of this performance which is even better. But regardless I get emotional myself watching them. Think how they probably must be reflecting on their musical careers, how they were so young when they Led Zeppelin began, their missing friend and bandmate, his son sitting in etc etc etc.
Thank you Stacey for spotlighting this video. One of the greatest tracks of all time covered by Hall of Fame artists. An absolutely breathtakingly beautiful performance. The reaction of Robert Plant says it all. The Wilson sisters are simply amazing.
The cinematography, lighting, shot selection, choir with Ann's powerful lead, editing....just a brilliant interpretation of this iconic song. The Wilson ladies amazing live performance of Crazy On You shouldn't surprise you but will weaken your knees !
The reason for Robert Plant reaction is because the 3 surviving members asked Jason come represent his father he told them he'd love to but he had a gig he couldn't get out of. The hats that the choir are wearing is a tribute to John Bonham. It's John Bonham favorite style of hat. In fact the one Jason is wearing is his dad's hat. Ann Wilson was in her 60's when this took place. She is one of the greatest female singers. Also the tears from Robert Plant was partly from him thinking of his best friend John Bonham and seeing his son and Robert Plant's godson playing the drums. Jason looked up as asking for approval from his dad for the job he did. I'm sure he approved of it.
Seriously? Nancy is nowhere near the best acoustic guitarist ever. She is a good guitarist. She is not great. She wasn't even the second best guitarist in Heart - that was Howard Leese with the great Roger Fisher far and away #1.

@gene6690 Greetings from Germany. Well, I don't like to make comparisons, and who can say who is the "best"? I'll put it this way: for my taste, for me personally, Floor Jansen is the only true metal queen. Followed by our German Metal Queen named Doro Pesch. And in terms of genre, I would classify 'Heart' as pop/rock or rock. Otherwise, I agree with you completely.

Me too Fella I'm only 54 seen this performance must be over 100 times and I sob like a little child every time !!!!
Beyond a doubt. 67 years old, and the sweet tears still flow.
Having Led Zeppelin give you a standing applause singing their own song back at them must be an out of body experience and well deserved
What a bitchin' groove!❤️🦬😉😂😄
Don't apologize for shedding tears at this absolute masterpiece. Great art should inspire strong emotions. Such a beautiful and amazing job at covering this song. The arrangement is nothing short of stellar.
No one knew Jason was going to be playing drums that evening, Robert Plant was moved to tears seeing his best friends son playing that night wearing his dads famous bowler hat ,and the memories of his dear friend Jon Bonham flowed through Plants eyes as he watched on.. At the after party Robert Plant approached the Wilson sisters and said that was the best version of that song he ever heard.
Not only Jason wore his dad's hat, he also played on his drum set.
Jason is also Robert’s godson I believe
And if you noticed, the choir was wearing the same version of the hat
They had asked Jason to attend with them to represent his father. Of course he couldn't, but so as not to spoil the surprise, he only said "sorry, I've got a gig that night." They had no idea.
He plays their shows not new him on drums ! Great show !
Heart is a legendary band worth the experience
They do a lot of Zeppelin covers in concert, since they are among the biggest Zep fans themselves, and they do them extremely well!
They asked Jason if he wanted to attend the honors he said he had a prior engagement. It was a total surprise.
She sings it with the confidence that she will start slow and then absolutely tear the place down with her voice. Breathtaking performance ❤
With a choir of angels, I imagine it will sound like this in Heaven. Great job Ann and Nancy. This performance is legendary ❤️❤️❤️
I hope heaven does not sound this way or I may rethink which is heaven and which is hell.
Youre a party 🤪@DianeLake-sw3ym
@@DianeLake-sw3ymWhat's the matter with you???
They’re in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
where can we find the full version of this video?
@@EsElAlessi the full version does cut off the opening when Jason Bonham and Ann and Nancy Wilson are introduced, but shows the entire performance. ua-cam.com/video/LFxOaDeJmXk/v-deo.htmlsi=yXhit6xtxoWe9HD0
Just search on UA-cam for "Heart Stairway full" and you'll see it!
Yes!!!!
That version of Kashmir is my favorite one of all!
Kashmir version from london is the best version i have ever listened ❤️
Kashmir from 2007 live at O2 watch it or review best performance I agree
Anne and Nancy saw Led Zeppelin when they were young, they had to walk out of the concert- they were overwhelmed.
EXCELLENT REACTION.... Ann Wilson is 62 years old in this video. WOW. Legends performing for legends. Epic cover by Heart.
Is there a modern day vocalist how has the pipes to sing this song? Not being a wise ass just asking an opinion
What an honor but omg! I bet he practiced nonstop to make sure it was perfect!!
That was respected English guitarist Shane Fontayne who among other things toured with Bruce Springsteen in the band Bruce put together after he temporarily disbanded the E-Street Band.
Me too, I was 15 in 1969, as soon as Good Times, Bad Times comes on, you're done for life!
@@vicprovost2561WOW! This is a reunion of sorts. I was 15 and 1969, too. This song was a wonderfully emotional experience!
I was 6 in 69 so I want to thank you old people for making me feel like the young one here lol ❤
Stacey you did an awesome job with this classic.
Thanks.
My favorite part of this video is seeing how Jimmy Page is clearly loving every minute of it.
Absolutely, freaking LOVED watching Jimmy Page rocking out to the performance!!
So, it was a complete surprise to the group when he walked out on stage.
ahhh that makes me want to cry even more!! so touching!!
Jason was not only wearing his fathers bowler hat he also played his fathers drum kit. @@StaceyRPGReacts
I have no idea what Robert was thinking of course but i bet a good deal of it was about his long lost band mate and best friend ❤
Ann Wilson has one of the best voices in rock an seams to only improve with age ✌️🙂
Gotta check out "Barracuda" by Heart (Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson). Also, Robert Platt invited Jason to the awards and he said he couldn't make it, so it was a surprise to the band.
Yes! Robert was crying!!
Rock legends performing a tribute to rock gods.
UA-cam sucks young bitches trying to react to music they knw fuck all wow wow wow .....
The trio invited Jason Bonham to the tribute and he told them he already had had made plans to do something and couldn’t be there. Needless to say they were unaware of his plan. This cover was done to perfection.
If you don't get chills whilst listening to this, you're dead inside. Amazing.
I'm a french heavy metal singer and i can't help but cry everytime i hear this song... This is fantastic 🤘👏
Me too!!😅
Legends honoring legends in a room full of legends, with a legendary performance.
Great reaction. Cry all you want to - it shows you appreciate the spirit of the music. Now you must delve more into Heart.
Even Yo Yo Ma, the iconic cellist, was groovin' on it , in the audience ( at 9:39).
Especially given Jimmy Page’s mf Amy for playing his guitar with a Cello bow.
Now you GOT to watch the Celebration Day concert, Jason Bonham plays drums on that and Led Zeppelin is at their greatest there for one last time
Absolutely!
I grew up on LZ, I'm 67, and this rendition STILL brings me to tears EVERY TIME that I hear it !!!
⚘️❤️🥲👌
Beautiful reaction Stacey! Heart is also an iconic and legendary band! Here are a couple of Heart songs that would be a good Intro to get familiar with the band Heart.
1970's Heart - "Barracuda"
1980's Heart - "What About Love?"
They have so many great songs! Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart rock!!!
Heart loves Zeppelin!!
Most definitely the 1978 live concert version. The clip from Midnight Special is good but doesn't do the whole band justice.
I second that!!👊🏼
I just turned 60 this year and grew up listening to Led Zeppelin.
Another is "Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale, live in Denmark 2006". its another live performance with an orchestra. its a song ive been in love with my entire life and this performance is just, magical
edit: dont forget the kleenex if you give it a listen. lol
Since you love 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale' I *highly* recommend the recent cover by Lucy Thomas.
Nights in White Satin as well for this effect. Recently watched a show where the band wasn't all that impressed by the song, one of them went out and brought back some instrument and along with that and multiple tracks of their voices, it becomes something special
IMO in the top 3 tributes I've heard. If that's the first time you've heard Heart then you are in for a treat❤
That you show your emotions is real and ok. And let’s be honest, most of us are tearing up with you. Love your reactions.
This performance brought tears to my eyes, the original bands reaction to Jason Bonham on drums, and the tears in their eyes to the collaboration with the choir, a truly legendary performance.
I am so happy to have found you. Although Zeppelin have always been my favorite all time, I cried with you. You are so real.
Anne Wilson was 62. She played NYE here to ring in 2024. Total badass
I remember seeing this for the first time and crying my ass of.... These guys wrote historical hymns of rock!
❤❤❤
There is a longer version of this performance which is even better. But regardless I get emotional myself watching them. Think how they probably must be reflecting on their musical careers, how they were so young when they Led Zeppelin began, their missing friend and bandmate, his son sitting in etc etc etc.
Evan at 60-years old, this tribute makes me emotional. 😢
No better cover ever! Anne Wilson best female rock singer ever! Nancy is so underrated she is absolutely the best acoustic guitarist ever!
Seriously? Nancy is nowhere near the best acoustic guitarist ever. She is a good guitarist. She is not great. She wasn't even the second best guitarist in Heart - that was Howard Leese with the great Roger Fisher far and away #1.
@@BobSoltis1 your entitled to your opinion but so am I!
@@danaleestephens1686 It is hilarious when people without any knowledge of a subject think that their opinion is somehow valid. Yes - you are entitled to voice an opinion - but that does not negate the fact that your opinion is baseless and out of touch with reality.
Its ok to cry baby..... I do seems like every time I hear this rendition. It is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Just loved your emotional and heartfelt reaction. Arguably the greatest cover of all time. This is such a beautiful rendition of a giant of a song and a real tribute to Led Zeppelin. Heart is an institution and Ann Wilson remains the greatest female metal singer of all time. P{lease go check many wonderful performances by these two amazing sisters. Just a note........ Only Floor Jansen has come near the heights of the great Ann Wilson
I absolutely will have to check out Heart! They did this performance amazingly! Thank you for your sweet words ❤️
@@StaceyRPGReacts greetings and Love from Germany again. Well, in this case you can do it the same way you did it with 'Stairway to Heaven'. The original first, than the Tribute. Cause i would love to see you react to 'Heart's song "Alone" first and than the Tribute from Floor Jansen. You can find it on Floor's UA-cam Channel. That would be so awesome ☺. Just an idea from an odinary subcriber, i'm not a patreon....PEACE
@@stefanstock953 Greetings from South Africa. Yes you are correct with the distinction of Heart as a rock group. I was introduced to Nightwish and Floor during the beginning of the lockdown period in 2020 particularly Storytime from the Wacken 2013 show. I was totally blown away by the combination of the beautiful Tuomas compositions and this tall Godlike front women with an angelic voice known as Floor. She and Nightwish had such an impact on me that i booked and flew with my wife from South Africa to Gelsenkirchen, Germany to go watch them perform live. i was just worried that the pregnant Floor might succumb to some performance pressures and thank goodness nothing happened. That was pure luck as she actually cancelled her show a couple weeks later. Feel just sorry for those fans. Rock on mate 😇
@@stefanstock953 Ja i was and am a huge Heart fan and have heard all their songs. And yes Floor, i have now also lapped up all her material on UA-cam which is a privilege and an honor
I can't believe this was your first exposure to Heart! Rock and Roll wouldn't be the same without them. I grew up listening to them in the '70s and am still a fan today.
Is a pleasure to see on the stage to Jason Bonham Jr playing the DRUM because he is the son of the original drum player of LED Led Zeppelin = John Henry Bonham (R.I.P.).
Thank you for sharing your reaction... precious
A Masterful live performance...☺
Watching my first true love, guitarist Jimmy Page smile is my favorite part of this video... Second to that amazing experience is Ann and Nancy knocking it out of the universe and seeing Robert Plant brought to tears!! What a gift this video is!! It's a pleasure to share this with you!! 😊 Much Love! 💓
If you want to see Zep at this age along with Jason on drums, then The Celebration Day concert from ‘07 is an absolute must watch, probably one of the best gigs ever, some unbelievable performances, Kashmir being the absolute best song of the show, love to see you react to that ❤️❤️
And NO Quarter as well as For Your Life which they never played live before!
@@juliemanarin4127 No Quarter is a masterpiece, For Your Life gets the full Zep treatment 👌👌
Love seeing your genuine reaction. Do not apologize for shedding tears.
Seeing your emotions broke my heart 😢. Everyone in the crowd felt it too. If you need further reassurance of how Led Zeppelin moved people, listen to 'Thank You'.
I cried with you , Stacie . Ann Wilson is the Greatest female rock singer of all time IMO
You should look in to Heart , You'll love them almost as much as Led Zeppelin ❤️
Jason Bonham played the entire Celebration Day show with them in 2007 at the O2 arena.
This is one of the best performances of all time. Bar none. Ann and Nancy are legends, and I truly believe no one else could have done this tribute to these other legends
I read that Ann wasn’t feeling well that night (maybe coming down with the flu or something) but she was not going to miss this performance. Great reaction 👏
The best cover of this song….EVER
It's truly a pleasure watching your reaction videos. You're so genuine...easy to feel and appreciate. I am from the Pink Floyd / Led Zeppelin era of musical talent. The journey you are on, seeing all this this high level talent is really special. You'll never again witness this type of talent, and it's up to your generation and others to help keep this music alive. More and more of this talent is passing each and every year. Thank you for your videos and input. Sharing your emotions hits me hard too...bring me to tears often with you. You're special and I wish you all the best in your journey.
Love this by Heart, as they are doing a great job of singing and playing this wonderful song.❤️❤️👍
First time I watched this video the feelings hit me like a steamroller. And yes, Jason Bonham was a surprise for the band. I never tire of watching this one.
What you saw was Ann and Nancy Wilson ascending to join the members of Zeppelin as Gods .
I have heard this song for 50years and cried when I heard it this . I give my greatest show of respect 🤘
You must see all the performances from other singers and Jack Black’s commentaries about Led Zeppelin.
Story goes that Heart got the call to do this about two weeks ahead of the date and only got to rehearse maybe 2 times. That said, Heart has been performing a variety of Led Zeppelin covers masterfully since the 70's (check them out, they're all fantastic). They were the perfect choice to deliver this tribute.
This always gets me because of JB’s son playing with Heart.
He also played his Dad’s drum kit and wore his Dad’s bowler hat.❤❤
Ann Wilson of Heart is right up there with Pat Benatar for best female rock singer of all time.
Love that huge smile in the beginning. That evokes how we all feel inside hearing this.
