How do you feel a setup like the Ifish pros of finicky fooler that run on an open bail concept. The trout wouldn't feel any resistance until you set the bail and drive to hook home... just wondering , great video
I have gave up on my jawjacker as it too hard to setup ie: very finicky. Idk if I’m using the wrong rod or what. automatic fisherman looks like a better product. Nice video!!
Brandon Urbaniak I’ve always used a Frabil Deadstick, probably not the ideal rod but I’ve only missed 1 hookset with it, every other time it’s set it good and the fight is always a blast
I hear the "better for the fish" argument but only as it compares to tipups, which I agree result in gut hooks. I think tipups should be illegal too. With fishing becoming harder and harder due to pressure, instead of monkeying around with limits and slots and all that nonsense, just make it like the good old days. You have to have your hand on the rod.

Jaw jacker is very easy to set up, you might be doing something wrong.
Good intro video. Let me know if you ever want to check out Gill-O-Tine. Custom jigging with autohookset. Can also run it as tipup or tipdown.
Just went through your videos. The product looks insane.
@@NickLindner thanks. This ice season has been something else for central wi. If your ever in the area feel free to reach out.
What is the brand/rod of choice for most applications when using a hook setter? Any suggestions

Great video guys!
Illegal in Minnesota. Hope it stays that way.
It’s better for the fish as it keeps the fish from getting it down deep
Daniel, why?
@@cswanson Because it's lazy. Just go to the supermarket and buy some.
@@MikeSmith-du9gh Tipups should be illegal, too.
Gary Oak Agrreed. Besides, it really is more fun when you get a strike and you’re holding the rod. I fish for fun!
Such BS that they aren't legal in MN. Much better for the fish. At least quick strike rigs are legal now
