Check out the new Fishing Duo rod holders designed specifically for your ice fishing sled. It's better than the DIY rod holder in the video: fishingduostore.com
@@chrislindholm I left Amazon links in the description for all the parts I used. Unfortunately there isn't a kit I found that has all those parts together so you'd need to buy them separately. You could also find shock cord hardware as part of a kayak deck kit at sporting goods stores that sell kayak stuff. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Awesome videos! Just grabbed two sets of skis for $10 and starting my build! I love your videos! Very well done! Having ORGANIZED storage makes a world of difference! Rod holders and extending the struts to carry the tent and spud bar holder…GENIUS!!
Hi! Just found your videos today! Love your ideas! I am thinking of getting two of your bucket holders to rig a crate on the back similar to your bucket idea! Plus have you considered making a universal bump board holder for those of us that have one already? I would buy that😊
Thanks for watching! If you end up getting the bucket brackets be sure to let me know what you think. They should work for what you want to do. I'll definitely keep that bump board holder idea in mind! What bump board do you have?
I hope it works out for you with the LED lights. Mine started failing within the first year. I had better luck cutting them into 2 foot strips because they couldn’t handle the bending around corners.
Same here. I added some adhesive and that solved the issue...for now. Good idea about cutting them in sections because, yes, the corners are the source of the problem. Thanks for watching!
@@fishingduoproductions Your lights look to be better quality than mine and I also added 3M marine adhesive. Keep up the great work, I love your videos.

You are a genius dude! I am definitely gonna use some of these modifications on my current smitty sled project! The lights are a must!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Have fun working on your smitty sled. The lights are definitely worth it.
Can you help with a source for the shock cord hardware? Trying to find the ends and hook and striking out…

Where does the mount on the side for the ruler come from@2:21?
I got mine from BassPro. It's the Clam Fish Trap Bump Board. Comes with the sleeve.
I would put notches in the rod holders so the reel handle fits down in PVC snuggly
Great personal additions. I also added an auger mount and of course a mount for my coffee cup. lol
I found someone with a collapsible, extendable one so my hub can be outside the sled but many of these can be added. Thank you !
Collapsible and extendable what? What hub? Elaborate please ?
Those lights are awesome!
Subscribed.. pretty awesome mods!
Thanks for subscribing! I'll do my best to continue earning that sub!
You make me feel like I can do more than but the parts

Those are nice but what are you doing for your auger?
I just load it in the sled so I have quick access but I plan on adding an auger mount. Thanks for watching!

Very nice
What kind of shovel is that?
It's this one: amzn.to/49Ls2b8. They work great and are super light weight! Thanks for watching!
Only forgot one thing, auger mount
Hahaha! I did try to add it later, but it changed the center of gravity and it would tip over. Thanks for watching!
better check your state laws...night light entrapment,,
Even so he’s probably fine if he’s using it for setup and tear down only
