  • With the recent departure of one of Google's top engineers Geoffrey Hinton, Artificial Intelligence is the topic on everyone's mind. What is it? Where is it going? How will these advancements affect our everyday lives? Sean Webb is here to cover it all. As the author of "Mind Hacking Happiness" and through his work with the Monroe Institute, Webb has become one of the foremost authorities on AI & Consciousness.
In this episode, Webb walks us through his own enlightening experiences with consciousness and spirituality. He provides some amazing direction to take control of your own mind and emotions. He also sheds light on some misinformation around AI and lays out where the real problems and disruptions lie. This episode will give you the tools you need to future proof yourself for what's next.

The “always do better” mentality is a disease that you will fight till the day you die. There is a fine line between doing better for yourself and maintaining a good life for you and your family.

There is a way to do this, and be present, in the moment, and at peace with whatever outcome. It’s just about balance. It requires a lot of wisdom, and experience, and you never perfect it, nor should you. The best way, I think, to manage this, is to be very aware of human vulnerabilities, as well as our own, distinct, specific vulnerabilities, and stay away from the situations that can initiate a scenario in which these are likely to occur. Crappy family members for one. People make all kinds of excuses for poor behavior, simply because the person behaving poorly, happens to be a blood relation. I find it helpful to consider that a blood relation, ought to have more incentive than anyone else, not to treat a fellow blood relation, poorly, specifically within one’s immediate family. It makes sense to care for those who you know, and who know you, best, better, not worse. So, abuse is abuse, no matter who delivers it. Don’t discriminate.

What was science fiction and described by James Cameron and Asimov ( “ Skynet” and I, Robot) seems very real somehow. The issue seems to be what if AI decides that humans are the problem that needs to be solved by elimination? Chills.

I’ve been meditating on and off since 2011, but fell out of practice the last few years. About 5 or 6 years ago I was meditating and I had a feeling that I was in the middle of the universe, looking down at all the stars, and I had the feeling of complete understanding. I then got sucked back into my body and have not been able to explain the feeling I had into words. I’ve only told my wife about it, but since I can’t explain what happened in words, she doesn’t understand. This is the first time I’ve ever heard someone talk about the same experience. Actually, of the others, I have never watched even one episode beginning to end, even over multiple viewings. Shawn! The first two minutes and already you have blown me away. The first two minutes is probably one of the greatest things you've done so far, and you've already done so much good!
What you did...allowing such open use of your content, is monumental beyond imagination. One of the biggest problems in the world is content owners/creators being overly tight fisted with their content. Me and many others belief this to be greedy, unfair, and hindering free speech, creativity, and expression.
It sounds like you're gaining insight into the wisdom of open source philosophy. With open source, everyone wins. The creator, the audience, other creators. To me and many it is a no-brainer. Sharing content will only increase success and prosperity over time, and it should serve as the new model for a prosperous and free future society.

Listening to him tell his story gives me chills. I had a very similar experience when I started researching frequency. Something happened to me that I can't really explain. I had a full on come apart but it was more like crying with joy. After that I started meditating and letting my mind wonder. Almost immediately I felt my energy increase or get more intense. Idk. But it led me straight to God. It's different than I imagined it to be as in everything is so much bigger than we are that we can't even imagine it. Anyway..I'm on a terrific journey after realizing that this walk really is solely our own and with God and that is above all else. At the very end, that's what it is. I'm confident in that.

Maybe you just don’t understand how incredibly earth-shattering this moment can be regardless of trying to think of the person who actually has the illness.
It’s insanely difficult to hide that kind of pain. More often than not, I’ve seen the adult children have to leave the room where they completely break down. It’s not as simple as you’re making it, and yes you’re right, that is what empathy means, but sometimes hearts break on the spot and it’s difficult to suppress.
All I know is this: With the years of experience I have, I became very good at hiding my emotions during the time I worked with these ppl. However, if my own mother ever forgets my face, I’ll be devastated.

Love your shows Mr. Ryan!!!! When I first got “for real saved” which just means I genuinely started pursuing Jesus instead of just going to church every week. I got a vision during worship one Sunday morning of all of us together in the beginning. We were all in one room, all of humanity there was ever going to be in that one room. I didn’t understand it at first then the Holy Spirit spoke to me that what I was seeing was all of us together…IN HIM. There was a time we were all together inside God, in His mind. And He speaks us into existence just like He did Adam, He formed Adam from the dust of the earth and breathed into him. That’s what I saw, all of us together IN HIM.

I don’t usually make comments, but this interview really got me. He is NOT teaching “processing” experiences. I’m in the field of helping people clear trauma and what he’s teaching is repression. Yes there is a cut off in peoples brains in order to push things into the subconscious mind, so that the organism can function on a daily basis without being baraged by those memories. Those mechanisms are called suppression and repression. He is teaching the mechanism of suppression and repression. After doing thousands of sessions with my clients dealing with trauma, that’s exactly how they survived through suppression and repression. On the outside it looks like everything is just fine but when you scratch the surface and allow things to come up and get triggered, you find out that the stuff from 40 years ago is still sitting there, never having been processed. The subconscious mind is not a place. The subconscious mind is an energy field. We are fields within energy fields. I am in the field of consciousness. Consciousness is my toolbox and my paint and the things that I use to help my clients all the time. That’s my expertise. So he is not teaching processing. He is teaching repression. That’s fine for the moment, but it does not heal the person. The other thing is that he got into the business of emotional manipulation. He contacted the NSA. They did not contact him. He is not doing anything to serve humanity. What he got involved with when he meditated and left his body is called “Enlightenment “. It’s clear he did NOT do the spiritual work afterwards to integrate what happened to him and ground it and he got caught up in his ego. I know that because I experienced enlightenment in 2013 and it took me three years to integrate it. It’s extremely seductive to come back from enlightenment thinking that you are bigger and more than you were before. He needs to look at his ego. He is not examining his own being. And he’s going around teaching the NSA how to manipulate emotions and not even realizing how ugly that is.

People need to realize life is the “journey”. It’s NOT when you finally get to the top of that mountain because when you do it reveals an even higher mountain…so learn to ENJOY THE JOURNEY because that’s what is beautiful
