Thank you, we are starting a crochet along of this blanket in DK weight on Sunday so keep an eye out on our UA-cam and Instagram for update pics and videos 😎
Love this project and your videos are so helpful! Is there anyway to get the written pattern so that when traveling, I can refer to it? Thanks so much! DM
Hi there, thanks for your question. The way I have done it takes 6 colours. 2 light, neutral colours, (white - a, beige - b) then 4 shades of the same colour (blue) A really dark - c, dark - d, medium -e, light - f. The light should still be darker than the neutrals. Then the colour placement is a, b, f, c, d, f, c, e I hope that helps

Hiya, yes you can use any yarn. The bigger the yarn, the bigger the square will be. Have a look at my other video to see how big you can go 😄 it’s massive! I hope you do join in 👍🏼 ua-cam.com/video/qgflnu0C2Wg/v-deo.html

Is there a certain way to use the colors to make the squares seem 3-D?

Do you have any advice on selecting colours to assist with the 3D effect?

Can you use any make of Wool please
I would imagine so. 1 ply yarns would not wear very well though 👍🏼

Colour wise, you can use whatever colours you choose, but to get the 3d effect you need to follow the pattern of lighter/darker colours.
