Love it. The only thing we differ on is the weaving in ends. I do them as I go otherwise they would never get done and a lovely blanket wouldn’t be seen😂. Your explanations were great and I ended up with the right number of clusters on all sides of all squares, thank you.
Thank you for your lovely words. I prefer a felted join (when using pure wool) as I go, but didn’t want to stress new crafters with too many explanations. I’m so glad you had the right number of clusters. It makes life so much more fun when it all works out well. I’m currently working on a new tutorial for a different type of 3d effect square. I am hoping to have it ready for September as the seasons change and get much cooler here. Maybe I’ll see you at that Crochet a long?
Reds and teals sounds really good. I am so glad you enjoyed making it. I’m hosting a crochet a long in September so I look forward to seeing you there 😎
Just found your site and have been looking for a tutorial that really explained and you are the one. This is one of my projects for next year because I am working on Christmas gifts. Thank you very much and am now subscribing. 🙏 ☕ 🥰
Thanks for the detailed, explanation that is really helpful! Please how much does a square like this weigh and how big is each. I would like to recreate this a little larger, but I don't know how much wool to get. I want it to be a bedspread for the guest bed.
Hi there, Have you had a look at crab stitch, a kind of reverse double crochet. It won’t give quite as prominent a peak but it does give a nice raised finish to the edges.
Thanks Ines! I’m glad that you and your daughter feel this way about it 😎😎😎😎 translation - ‘She explains very well, calmly and shows the fabric, not covering it with her hands. I have enjoyed watching you create this piece of art. Thank you. I will be starting my project soon.
Thank you for watching and for your lovely comment. I hope you enjoy your project as much as I did 😎😀

Hiya, I am so glad my tutorial is helping you. I look forward to your feedback when you start your project. Happy crocheting 🧶 😎😁
Hola! Explica muy bien,
Thanks for the detailed, explanation that is really helpful! Please how much does a square like this weigh and how big is each. I would like to recreate this a little larger, but I don't know how much wool to get. I want it to be a bedspread for the guest bed.
I used your tutorial and made a modified version of your blanket. I’d post a photo, but I can’t figure out how. Thanks! From Wisconsin in the US 🧡
I’m so glad you found it helpful. Thanks for letting me know 😎
So would you do a border round the whole blanket?.
You can do, I haven’t in this version 😊
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I would like to add that same peak to the outside border as the one between the panels. Any suggestions?
