As I reflect on 2021 and what the future holds, I am busy building a #Dune Diorama with the help of my new #Anycubic Photon Mono 4K. I have been printing non-stop since I got it about a month ago, utilizing Anycubic’s basic grey and Sirayatech ABS-like grey blue. Both amazing resins!
I figured out my settings early on and have been able to print with near 100% success rate. I printed this beautiful ornithopter from Gambody and did not have a single fail. Well… I did break a couple of pieces while assembling and working on it, but re-printing was not an issue as the parts succeeded each time.
I must say, I am really getting back into 3D printing and this year I hope to be able to design more things to print. Yes, I’m still building model kits and Gunpla and all that fun stuff, but as a creative, I’m constantly trying new things and enjoy learning new skills.
The narration in this video is more of a collection of thoughts and reflections as opposed to my usual build-centered narrative, I hope you don’t mind. I promise the next video will focus on the build more than on philosophy.

Hey man, thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate your support and to answer your question, I usually give away my builds after the video release. I greatly enjoy the process of creating them, but once they're built, I really don't care too much for them hahaha... my dad and other family members are displaying some of my creations in their offices/bookshelves hahaha... I do have a couple of things like my Wing Zero VerKa, and my RG Nu which was my first Gundam ever... I'll be making some cool things to sell this year though! Cheers, man! Happy 2022!

Hey, great job on this print! I've been trying to print these Ornithopters in resin too, and I keep running into issues with the wings getting warped or sagging under their own length. Could you share how you got them to stay so straight?

Liam, my ninja! Thanks for stopping by! I have a confession to make - the first time I watched Dune, I wasn't super impressed... I was mainly upset at the lack of culmination or closure at the end, it left me wanting more... but the more I thought about it, the more inspired I was, not to mention it's one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen... so any excuse to watch it again, I'M DOWN! haha! And yes, that was a guitar string! Good catch! Happy 2022!
