Just bought one of these with my gf. Its our first big purchase, itll build our credit nice and itll get us to work and back. Really good, honest review:)
I love my 2017 sentra. This was a very honest relatable review. I have a family of 4 and just needed a reliable vehicle that gets me to point a to point b with occasional road trips. I have the SV model so I have satellite radio and rear view camera.
@@jordylopez7837 I've had my 2017 Sentra for 4 years now and I haven't had 1 problem with it. I take it for it's Regular check ups and she's treating me very good. I would highly recommend it
I’m a college student, I love my sentra, it’s super affordable and gets great fuel economy. It’s not the fanciest car out there but compared to my old car, 2001 honda civic I feel like I’m driving a rolls royce 😂 i will never go back to a car without push to start
Thanks for the review I was recently approved for car loan and the Sentra is one of the vehicles I'm considering already own a 2015 Altima so will be exited to own a sentra
I own a 16 Sentra SV and I love it. I’m just now starting to build my credit this car helped me do that. I’m not big on how powerless it is but it’s very reliable. The MRA8DE been in the Sentra since 2013.
I used to have a 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V and I absolutely loved that car. It's literally the car that created my love for Nissan (bought a 350z next, then an old Infiniti G20, then a G35x with rear-mount turbo, then my Xterra and now my Infiniti Q50). They've all been great cars!
I put an after market radio in mine so immediately and I almost forgot how ugly the original one was 😂 definitely worth a couple hundred bucks to change it out with an aftermarket one.
Anybody have experience using it for gig work (DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, etc.)? I use my Grand Cherokee 5.7L HEMI for it now and I reckon it’s gotten to where I nearly dump all my earnings into the fuel tank-wasn’t like that initially, of course; only reason it didn’t seem like a horrible idea at first-but based on the vehicle itself and the way I often drive, I get about 9.6 to 10 mpg (it roars in American for God’s sake, y’all try and avoid crushing that throttle every now and again 😄😆). I wouldn’t know how to act getting almost 30 mpg through the city, and getting to actually pocket a noticeable majority of the fair amount of money I tend to rack up each day like it was when I started this little shindig. 😌
I’m really sorry for those who have bought this car in the past few years. Not only has the value depreciated but it has one of the worst transmissions ever made by Nissan. My Sentra has 100k miles and it’s already giving out (bought used at 86k). Wasted 15k, now I can only trade it in for 4k. Worst investment decision you will ever make don’t buy one of these with over 40k miles or you won’t have it for very long until you realize how unreadable it is. Just buy a Prius if you want to save gas, not only does it get more mpg but it’s faster and more reliable.

Damn bro I’m sorry you wasted your money 😂

Is this car really reliable? I want to get one but don’t know if it’ll give me transmission problems or not

@@jordylopez7837 change the CVT fluid every 30,000. The fluid breaks down very quickly due to heat.

Hey I’m thinking of buying one with 80,000 miles on it. Do you still like the car and find it reliable?

Its a nice small car and lots of value for people looking to build credit.
Nissan Nation Podcast especially that new 2020 Sentra. A lot of value for you buck. They revamped with a 2.0l

All Things Overlanding yep Nissan builds a good car / truck

Great review. I test drove the Sentra years ago it was ok. Ended up buying an Altima, suited my family bit better.

Do all the 2017 Sentra have CVT transmission failing issue?
Good question . I just bought one nd I’m wondering the same

If the CVT is maintained and fluid changed around 50k it will last a very long time.
Mines went out at 100,000 miles. Flat out.
would u recommend this car to someone over 6ft😅
My son is 6' and fits fine
Nissan transmission is junk!
Our 2 so far are great!
Maintenance....
Had about 30k miles and all of a sudden transmission broke mid drive. On the freeway smh
@@Megadorkanator2 Sounds like 🐂💩 to me.
Don't buy one. POS transmission will certainly fail. Nissan has been crap since bought by the French. Buy a Toyota
