- Hello 👋 Welcome Back
I made this skull as a commission. I am truely grateful for being given the opportunity to put my friends flowers from her Wedding into the beautiful skull mould. The final piece is absolutely stunning and I am so happy that both my friend and her Husband love it.
Using - Mica powder around the edges of the mould, after placing the flowers in place. I filled the mould with the LetsResin, expoxy resin and love how clear it is. I also added silver flakes into the resin before pouring it.
This is possibly one of my favourite resin pieces so far.
Thank you again to my friend Helen for allowing me to make this for you 🥰
OMG that is just stunning. I absolutley love it.
Thank you so much. Works great with artificial flowers 🌹
TRY USING A SQUIRT OF SOAPY WATER INSIDE OF THE MOLD TO RELEASE WITH EASE . IT CAME OUT STUNNING !!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB . LOVE IT . HAPPY RESINING TO YOU
Thank you, definitely will give it a try 😊 x
Or a spray of alcohol 😊
This is the most beautiful skull I’ve ever seen. Well done
Thank you so much, they were beautiful wedding flowers 😊
NICE !
Thank you so much 😊
This is so beautiful!!!
thank you so much 😊
Can you please explain the clingfilm ... how, when are where was it placed? Thanks
It has been a while since I made this skull. I placed the cling film loosely on my first layer. Once cured 24 hours later, I removed the film and completed my final layer. Each layer took 24 hours to cure.
I agree have you had any others come out this perfect. I have had some success but it’s been hit or miss. Do you often have to fill bubbles? If so how ? Do you have a video on it.
I have had to fill some air bubbles (No video yet), but I do fill with a poppet or syringe. But it very difficult to clean. I also Top coat which also fills bubble holes depending where they are 😊
Did you dry your flowers?
These were artificial flowers, although if they were real. I would recommend drying them out first.
