- Hey All, 👋 How are ya??
Wow, Have I got something to share with you. I made a SkullGlobe!! and I am going to share how 🥰
This was a huge challenge, I have an idea 💡 of how I wanted this to look. But was not 100% sure how. All I knew, it involved a Balloon 🎈 🤣
So here it is, not perfect but my very first go at it for you all to see. I know where it went wrong and how I need to get it right ✅️ for next time.
Please give me your feedback, would love to read your ideas and thoughts.
Also, remember to Subscribe with the 🔔 turned on as you will be notified of my next video and I will be doing this again. what colour shall I do next ??
What I used -
Resin - LetsResin
Jesmonite - Polysil Uk
Balloon to make hole.
Micapowder- Glitter for the effect. In water 💧
Also you alcohol Ink to get the deep pink colour between layers.
Well done on the attempt, very brave 😃 might it work if you used uv resin to seal the plastic over the inside peice? Then add the next layer of top once it's sealed? Usually only takes a minute to cure so not like normal 24 hour resin. Looking forward to the next video 🥰
I agree with using UV resin to fix the plastic in place. I’d do that after adding the glitter & mica powder but before adding the water. Then use the syringe to add the liquid & seal the small hole with another drop of UV resin.
Definitely did not think of the UV resin option. I have never use a UV resin before. One for my next purchase 😅
Thank you for your advise and will try this, once I get my hand on some 😊 💜
Love it! Did the jesmonite remain in place? Some people have said it comes away from the resin after a while. I hope it did. Really love the results and such a great idea with the balloon. Thank you so much for sharing x ❤️
The Jesmonite did stay in place on this one. As the edge that the Resin and Jesmonite met, was not smooth. I have had one separate, however there was no globe effect and resin Grollia glue kept the two pieces together.
I love that skull mold! ✌🏼💜🛼
Thank you, I am in love with the Skull mould currently. 😊
Use uv resin and uv lamp to seal the plastic disc in place
This looks to be the best option, thank you 😊
Wonderful thanks. Amazing how it's getting better effect. Thanks for sharing to us
Thank you so much 😊
It’s awesome ❤
Thank you so much 😊
Seal the filmwith uv resin after sealed use liquid rubber to make the 2nd seal to keep the water in.❤ Love the skull.
Thank you, I used UV resin on a new project and it worked very well.
