❤❤❤❤❤ I absolutely love the skull. The way the tinsel looks makes it look ethereal. It would look awesome if you put it on a fairy light block with shifting colors.
I think the only thing I would do differently would be run it through a Vacuum to remove the bubbles and put lights in it.But it is very pretty.I love the a decence❤
yeh I didn't do the vacuum chamber as I wanted to show for beginners that sometimes bubbles don't matter. Using a deep cast resin would have worked too :) Lights are a great idea, a few have suggested that. definitely worth a try
Thanks Pecan. The nails are done by Hollywood Nails in Redditch. They are real, but acrylic coated so they are tough and the colour doesn't chip - great for hard working hands :)
I bought flashy tinsel during the big after Christmas sales with the intention of doing a skull for my daughter and a snail for myself. This just motivated me to do it!
I love it, bubbles and all! 💜 I saw Wendy use tinsel like this so for 2 years in a row I've searched every place selling tinsel I could get to, from first hanging to postChristmas clearence, and nowhere have I found a tinsel like that in Sweden 😔
Yes I think it may have been Wendy I got the idea from :) Didn't she cut the tinsel up though? Not sure now. Just need to think of something to do with the rest of it now.
@@miniscenesgb Yes, I think she cut it up. Now when I have thought a bit more I think Nick Zemetti did something with a tinsel like that too. The problem with having almost 6000 liked videos is the dificulty to go back a few years later to find one...
they were cheap ones - Amazon I think? I dont really use them. The ones I got from Juliartstudio way better. These were handy for holding the resin down though :) I;ll do a video on them soon. they are kinda decent, but I've had better
@@BlueSnowLeopard1 those aren't much good. I would tryjuliart-studio.com/. hers are seriously good. I'm jus usig those cheap ones to hold things down into moulds, like the tinsel. They are very weak as inlays unfortunately
Very pretty effects, Tracey! That'd look so cool on a lighted base. 👍😊💕
Thanks so much 😊 Yes I think it would
Love those tinsels very shiny and eye-catching 😍😍.You made the skull so beautiful and extraordinary 😍💜, really love it,Ms Tracey 💜💜💜
I'm glad you like it
This with fairy lights in it would be very pretty! I love this!!!

Don’t you just love 🥰 sparkle; it makes me happy even in a skull ❤❤❤❤
Gotta have sparkle :)
I put EVERYTHING in my resin molds!! That is stunning.
That's part of the fun isn't it :) Glad you like it. When I get a new skill I'm gonna fill it with pasta lol
I have that same Temu skull. I haven't had any problems with it yet.
Oh that's great :) It's a copy of the Let's Resin one so same shape I believe, I'll soon see when my mew one arrives
Wow,Tinsel in skull 💀, indeed beautiful project, Ms Tracey 😍💜.The Holographic colors make it even more precious 😍😍😍💜💜💀💀💀
Thanks Sudha. I must do more with that tinsel, loads left :)

I love tinsel head.. would be nice sitting on led lamp base❤
That would be cool!
I did that with the tinsel, it was so much fun!😁
Sometimes the simplest things work out the best don't they :)
It might have been quick and simple, but it certainly packed a punch!
Love it!
Much love, Nat. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Thaks, I'm glad you like it. Sometimes the simplest are the best
Love this. What a great effect. It’s definitely going on my ‘to do’ list. Thank you for the video

Skull turned out really well, and I absolutely love your nails.
Thanks Pecan. The nails are done by Hollywood Nails in Redditch. They are real, but acrylic coated so they are tough and the colour doesn't chip - great for hard working hands :)
some of my best skulls were made with dollar store tinsel or ribbons. :)
Great! such simple fun isn;t it.
Great idea❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊

Some great ideas there Thank you @fuzznickers! Thanks so much for watching and commenting
I think I bought some similar garland from Michael’s after Christmas, so maybe I’ll try that one myself! It turned out pretty.
Go for it :) It's such simple fun :)
Love it!! ❤❤❤❤
Thanks Tammy
I mentioned this on a couple of other resin vids even gave a link on Amazon.... I've used it cut up in keyrings
Yes most people cut it up, that’s why I didn’t for a change. Both ways work well😀
What fun! Really pretty too.
Thanks. Sometimes the simplest things are so good to make

It is. and often hard to find where the idea came from. I think Wendy though in m y case :)
In the search icon 🔍at the top of you tube you can search resin skulls with tinsel or whatever you like, it’s very helpful..👍❤️
Yes I know. But I was just making a thing :)
I did this with one of my skull moulds. I found I got a better finish on the top of the skull when I put a little resin in before the tinsel.
Good idea, I bet that does make a difference. thanks for the tip
I adore this!!! Thanks for the idea Tracey!!❤
You are so welcome!
Yes, quick and easy but he sure is pretty. 😜
I think so too! Thanks
I love the skull❤❤❤❤
I'm so glad:)
I love him!!
Thanks, I really enjoyed making this one
So so cool.
Thanks :)
very pretty! I got the same skull mold from temu, mine is warped now too!😂
I've now ordered a new one - I hope it's better
love it.we must be in sync I'm just about to do a skull too.
lol. I'm not a fan of skulls but I thought it was such a contradiction with the tinsel so it had to be done
Very Cool!
Thank you @Siestascrap! I'm so glad you like this one
Very nice!
Thanks!
As my granny would say, "it's purty" Ha, yes I grew up in the rural southern USA. Seriously, it's way cool.
Lol thanks, glad you like it
I love it.😊
Glad you like it ;)
By the way, thanks for the video lol❤

Thank you @Prettynotpurrfectcrafts! I'm so glad you like this one
😊❤
Thanks, so glad you like it
How much resin did you mix
I have no idea. I can't do numbers as I am dyscalculic. I just mix a rough guess, then if there's not enough, mix a bit more and so on
where did you happen to get the holo inlays? they are so neat!
they were cheap ones - Amazon I think? I dont really use them. The ones I got from Juliartstudio way better. These were handy for holding the resin down though :) I;ll do a video on them soon. they are kinda decent, but I've had better
@@miniscenesgb ty so much. im just looking around for good inlays like that.
