He's FUN!! i love it... i do a lot with skull vinyl decals . and the ashtrays he would fit right in! 💗 🌹
Thanks Rose 🤗🌹 I had never made a skull before. I can't wait to make some more. I bought a cricut to add vinyl decals to my artwork. I need to learn how to use it 😅 thanks for watching 🤗
With your ashtrays do you add a metal plate in the center to help with the heat? I have someone asking for an ashtray but I have never made one before 😅
Ooooh! Skully! So cool. I love this project.
Thank you 🤗🌈 thanks for watching 💀💀💀
I just got this mold. So cool how yours turned out. Love it!
Thank you 🤗💀 this mold is so fun. I can't wait to use it some more. Thanks for watching 🤗💀 I was never into skulls before but now i am 😁
I love this mold. I need to try one like this! I tend to get bubbles on the back of the head at the base and the eyes. This turned out really cool! I've been doing clear with alcohol ink in this mold lately. I haven't tried any holographic inserts yet either.
Clear with alcohol ink in this mold sounds amazing 😍 I'll have to try that soon. It's so deep I bet you can get some really cool effects with the inks in it.
Definitely try the holo inserts if you can. They're so fun and easy to use. Thanks for watching 🤗
Incredibly impressive, superb!, be great as a paper weight!, adore the details, many regards :)
Thank you 🤗 I think so too. Thanks for watching 🤗

they do make a spray just lightly spray lighty, good for making molds stay shiney
Not that I know of. Some people use cooking spray. You can use mold release but I haven't tried it.
Love the color!
Thanks Mandy 🤗
I love this
Thank you so much and thanks for watching 😊😊😊
I love your business name, it has such a cute ring to it.
Awe thank you 🤗🤗🤗
It is so freaking cool!!!
Thank you 🤗
Omg! I jave these and so glad you did it. Don't use deep pour resin layers are so much better. The bubbles are it more realistic
Thank you 🤗 I can't wait to make some more like this soon I think light grey would be cool with the holographic effect. Thanks for watching 🤗
Wowww amazing. 😍😍😍😍
Thank you 🤗
!!! agh!! awesome!!!!!
Thank you 💀💀🤗🤗💙💙
Cool!
Thank you 🥰😊
That cool
Thank you 😊
Nice
Thank you, I want to try making a black skull next. Thanks for watching 😊
Very cool!
I was wondering since you pour in multiple layers & since the holographic is reusable could you pour it more shallow & place the film on it? I was wondering if it would give a more 3D layered look? Or would that work?
Thank you, unfortunately no. It only works on the last layer. If you pour over it at all the holographic effect disappears because the holographic is actually a micro texture and pouring resin on it takes that holographic micro texture away
Love!!!!
Thank you so much and thanks for watching 😊😊😊
Ive watched a ton of your videos using holographic inserts and I still don't understand how they work. Like how are they able to give the holo effect over and over?
Holographic is actually a micro texture. The silicone rubber takes on the micro texture from a diffraction grating sheet as it dries.
Then your silicone mold is Holographic.
Adding it to your resin Creations, the resin takes on the holographic micro texture from the silicone mold as it dries. Making your Creation holographic as well 🤗
Bonjour et merci pour le tuto c'est génial.j'aimerai savoir comment s'appelle la feuille qui donne tous ses reflets et où en trouver merci bonne journée
Great video, I haven’t started resin yet, getting all the moulds, resin tints and glitter together lol. I was wondering if you could after pouring the first half if you could add the holographic silicone then, remove, and pour the rest and use the silicone hologram again?
Thanks so much and thanks for watching 🤗 you are going to love working with resin you can do a lot of cool projects with it.
To answer your question, that wouldn't work. You can not pour over the holographic layer at all or it will disappear. The holographic effect can only be added on the last layer.
The holographic insert silicone mold is reusable over and over the holographic effect stays on the silicone mold.
Bonjour, où puis je trouver ce moule,? Merci pour cette très belle réalisation 😊

Hi Tish I made the same holographic skull from your other video same everything . I sold 2 for $80 each.
No way, that is so cool. I love to hear that. Keep it up. Ive heard from others, These sell really well for them too. A lot of people collect skulls. And it's nice because the molds aren't an arm and a leg so you can get several molds.
Hey Trish always buying your stuff from let’s resin but I keep forgetting you use the coupons
Hi, sometimes the codes only work on certain items. My codes only work from let's resin off Amazon not from their website.

Hi great job. What editing program do you use cheers..
Thank you 😊
Where did u get the holographic sheet you used to make the holo effect..link please
So sorry I forgot to add the link to the description box. Here's the link

Very cool. I've just recently started making resin castings and I'm having issues with small bubbles. I've heard that the resin should be warm, like 70 degrees,
to avoid this. Also, can I use a vacuum chamber, or will the resin begin to cure in there?
Thank you and thanks for watching. To avoid bubbles completely you need a pressure pot.
I don't use one, the resin I use has hardly any bubbles it's a 2 to 1 ratio casting resin. The temperature of the resin has nothing to do with bubbles its more about the viscosity of your resin.
This is the resin I use if you want to check it out.

Hi Tish!
I just want to say that all of your videos, but *especially* this one and the purple glitter skull, are my absolute favorites! So much so that I now have two of the skull molds, the set of the Let's Resin transparent dye (love that Sky Blue!), and the set of holographic powders. I've already poured my first skull using the blue holographic powder and black-tinted resin (so sparkly!), and I'm now working on my second one, trying for the pretty clear blue. I also ordered the holographic insert from your link above, but I couldn't wait for it, I had to start pouring right away! 😄
I do have a question, though - how many drops of the transparent dye did you use per 4 ounces of resin? I did four in mine (plus one drop of Brea Reese's Iridescent Liquid Glitter), but I was trying for the pretty blue color you have in this skull here.
Thank you for all of your creations - I'm so glad I subscribed! ❤
Awe thank you so much, that makes me so happy to hear. Im so glad you are making these too. They're so fun to make.
I need to make some more soon 😊
For the sky blue resin dye in 4oz I would only do 1 drop. 😁
Thanks for watching and subscribing. I appreciate you
After removing the skull does it need to be polished or she comes out with a clear color?
It comes out shiny and clear, no need to polish
Lush mould can I ask why you pour over a stick
It helps pop the bubbles 🤗 thanks for watching 💙
I love skulls and this looks fabulous. Do you think I can use holographic window film on top instead of the silicone insert? xx
Thank you so much 🤗
I'm not sure if that window film would work. I tried it on a crystal and couldn't get it to lay down flat without a ton of airbubbles. It's much thicker and less pliable than these silicone inserts.
Your the best Tish. Cause of you I made $425 so far selling some things as I learned from you. I’ll buy all your products. What’s your website called?
Awe thank you so much 😊 I appreciate you. I have an etsy shop where I sell glitters here's the link if you want to check out my etsy shop

How did you not get layer lines?
You can pour these in 1 layer with this deep pour epoxy from LET'S RESIN. I made a video about it a few weeks ago.
Deep pour resin:amzn.to/45lphcG
How long do you let the first layer to cure for?
24 hrs
What did you spray inside of your mold? If you don't mind me asking
91% isopropyl alcohol
@@naptimecreations thank you
@@jessicaperez3024 no problem 🤗
Can I buy the holographic Silicone Inlays on Amazon somewhere? I did a search but I'm brand new to this and trying to come up with a list of things I'll need to make my very first epoxy resin mould. I've only been watching videos where crafters have been using resin and currently do not have any of the products I need to do this. Perhaps someone can help me come up with a list of all the supplies I'll need?! Thank you.
Hit the more button next to the title of this video and the description box will open with direct links to everything.
This project is more advanced. I would try making a keychain or coaster 1st before trying this project if you have never worked with resin before.
You can't get the holographic inserts off amazon. I buy them off etsy
www.etsy.com/listing/1198566193/holographic-silicone-inlaysinserts?click_key=df10b0b172a85f2d7087819539bbda5fd5bacb71%3A1198566193&click_sum=51a16be6&ref=shop_home_feat_1&pro=1&sts=1

Did you spray a mold release before pouring the resin?
No
I love this so much Tish. I love skulls, but I haven't made any yet. I like that mold a lot and I think I'll order one. How long did you wait in between the layers? I didn't see any lines. 💜
Thank you 🤗 I think this mold is 14.99 not bad at all. I want to make more and add a rose to it. I think that would be pretty.
I waited 24 hrs between layers 🤗💙
@@naptimecreations Yes a rose 🌹 will be gorgeous. Can't wait to see it. 💀
@@RUserious63 thank you 🤗 I dried some roses in silica gel. They're so pretty. Can't wait to use them 🌹🌹🌹
What is your favorite epoxy for molds??
It depends on what I'm making. I mostly use liquid diamonds for projects like this. But it's not good for thin projects like bookmarks, thin earring molds etc. It's a 2 to 1 ratio epoxy I also like the let's resin brand epoxy it's a 1 to 1 ratio and its good for thin applications but it has more bubbles than liquid diamonds. Liquid diamonds has no bubbles.
@@naptimecreations you're amazing. Thank you for taking time to respond. I had searched up tutorials on using holo inserts and found your vid (my favorite I watched. ) & am so impressed with this piece. Had to follow ❤️
@@reptilefae awe thank you so much 🤗 I appreciate you 🌈🤗
How much resin you used? Looks like 20oz maybe of resin maybe? Let me know thanks.
Oh sorry I replayed you said 10oz thanks 😊
12oz
No problem, it's about 12oz total
Are you gonna sell the skulls in your etsy store?
This one sold but I will be listing more as I make them in my shop. 🌹💗
What kind of resin did you use? I have let's resin epoxy resin 1:1
This was liquid diamonds 2 to 1 ratio epoxy. LET'S RESIN epoxy would work as well. Just pour it in 3 layers like I did in this video.
@@naptimecreations thank you for helping me with this
