What's strange is how two months can feel both like an eternity and yesterday. I don't know what he's been up to, but I've been working HARD on my emotional, mental and physical health. I couldn't agree more. I feel exactly the same. It seems like yesterday she dumped me, yet, it feels like an eternity. Some moments I'm doing great, others not so much. The funny thing is, I have way more to offer her than she has for me, but I fell in love with her heart, which doesn't seem to beautiful now.

Three months after my breakup my Ex came back after I went into no contact. And started dating again. I met a nice man and I liked him a lot. When my Ex called me I was polite but, I told him the truth. After that he came on real strong. He asked me to meet him for coffee.. I met my Ex and he looked like hell. He told me he wanted another chance. I told my Ex I was open to that but, I wanted to move slowly. He agreed and we are now taking our time enjoying each others company. I remember going back and reading it while listening to his video. Almost exactly word for word! However, her message came before I listened to Coach Lee's video, and I did not react how he suggested. I wish I had come across Coach Lee a little earlier than I did. My ex has now gone back to the man who physically, emotionally and mentally abused her. A man who she told me was a narcissist, a compulsive liar, a textbook sociopath, "the worst person she has ever known" and someone who she feared "was capable of murder" (her words). And she lives across the street from me.

Don’t loose hope. After three weeks of no contact I broke it & wished him happy birthday he responded and we met for coffee that day. I’ve done a lot of reflecting and watched tons of your videos which kept me going. We’ve learnt a lot whilst we’ve been apart and we need to communicate better and stop taking each other for granted. It sounds like you guys had a fake break up if you only were split for 3 weeks. Also, although you guys are reconciling, I don’t think coach lee would’ve advised to wish your ex a happy birthday. Shifts even more power to your ex.
Hey coach, after 10 months being separated from my wife we’ve finally started reconciling. I’m so thankful for your emergency break up kit. She’s saying she loves me, hugs me & kisses me and we’re talking about eventually getting a place together. I did a lot of self reflecting, I got a amazing new job, changed up my look (cut my hair, new tats & confidence) & I’ve come to peace living on my own. It’s just the sexual side of things she’s still a bit on edge about it She wants the emotional side of things, she’s said how hard it was being away from me because I was all she knew. & at the beginning before going into no contact I was her emotional support. Big mistake ik but yes I finally got myself to step away. All that without the full physical side of things. 12 year relationship with two young kids
Her being on edge about having sex is a bit of a red flag to me because if she’s hugging kissing telling you she loves you and you guys are married, why isn’t she engaging in sex? Do you know if there’s another guy in the picture or maybe there was another guy while you two were separated?
@@Rizzy_K she attempted to rebound at one point. I took coach lees advice and went full strategic no contact at that point. Only speaking about the kids or when she reached out. That clearly crumbled on its own. I did all the wrong things coach Lee states at the beginning 🤯😨 I was surprised how accurate Coach is. When we started reconnecting fully my wife sent me this message “Believe me when I say it’s been horrible being away from you. I’m hitting the 5th month mark of NC and imma be honest that’s there’s still rough days where I’m questioning what I did wrong. It was a short dating window but it hurt more than any other relationship I had. I think it was the fact that I’m in my 30s and that things were great until the last 2 weeks where it just fell apart really out of no where. The part that hurt the most was when he said we can be friends even when we had a whole discussion about how we were not looking for friends and how we found it irritating when people want to friend zone you. Oh well, not my first rodeo and life really does go on.

Mine did that too in the beginning of the break up. Just stick with no-contact and stay strong sis. After 5 months, he called me and basically begged for us to try again. Next time he calls or texts, stay cool. Let them come to you.

6 weeks no contact after a two month relationship and I’m kinda envying all these success stories of peoples exes coming back haha (can’t relate). It was my first relationship (not his) and after reflecting back and reading ‘get the guy’ by Matthew Hussey I’m starting to realise how little I knew and all the mistakes I made during the relationship. @@CryThunderdarealone I absolutely forgot I commented on this video. The short of it, she came back. Coach Lee is absolutely correct, and no matter how counter intuitive it seems, no contact is the answer. The more difficult thing is, you may not have loved that person the way you thought you did, and certainly having the relationship snatched away is where most of the pain and desperation comes from. I couldn’t trust her the way I did, I didn’t love her the same. I always found myself second guessing her intentions and how long it would last. It ended once again, about 3 months ago, but this time, I didn’t want her back. I even went so far as to block her. At the end of the day, I was worse off with her than by myself, and I needed to heal from not only trauma of the relationship but things that would hinder my future relationships. No matter how much you love someone Danny, you’ve got to put yourself first, because no one else will. You will heal, don’t get me wrong, it’s hard, today may not have been great but tomorrow will be better. If it was meant to last, it wouldn’t have fallen apart so easily.

It's supposed to be our 3rd anniversary in 3 days. After almost 3 months of our breakup, I'm deciding to just fully let him go & let go of the hope we'll get back together. Something in me says it's never going to happen. It's just painful trying to cling on to that tiny flicker of hope so I choose to just move on. On our supposed anniv, I'll write a "closure letter" and burn it along with the everlasting rose he gave me. I don't know, my ex wife (due to be divorced in april) has said she doesn't love me, doesn't want me to go near her or touch her and appears to be loving single life (out partying and posting pictures of her looking beautiful) don't think I can change that in the short time I have.
She told me i was her soul mate at Christmas .. by April i was dumped by text, (after 4 years).. so thoughts can be very fluid for some. 😂 the ‘soul mate’ comment was just in the moment it seems.. I can’t deal with easy changing thoughts like that. I was hoping to marry this woman one day! 🤪 6 months on, still no hope on the horizon.
Sooo no contact worked to make my ex think I had moved on. But instead of being upset, he decided that now we were cool and in a good place so that he could invite me back over and then introduce me to his new girlfriend Soooo it didn’t really “work” other than to just make him think I was over him and that there wouldn’t be drama if we were friends and he flaunted his new relationship.

My ex broke up with me about a month ago after a 14 month relationship. When it first happened (by text) I asked her a bunch of questions by text. I told her I wanted her back but never begged for her back. We had a brief phone call where we both cried. A week and a half later I broke no contact because I saw that she had unfriended me from all social media and it panicked me (this was all before I had seen any of your videos). I asked to meet her in person because she said she hadn't planned on breaking up by text and wanted to talk in person. She agreed. We met up and she said that she wanted to be friends but I said I didn't want that. She was crying while asking to be friends. She gave me some reasons why she wanted to break up which didn't make sense to me and after watching these videos I understand why they didn't make sense. I asked clarifying questions, but ultimately I said that I understood her and that she knew my position. She hugged me all the while crying and telling me that she had been in love with me. I walked away without looking back. It's been a week and a half of no contact. I'm hopeful, but I'm wondering if I messed up by contacting her for several days afterwards and asking her all those questions a week and a half later in person. We both cried during the initial phone call and I cried during the in person visit, but nothing overboard. A little sarcasm on my part but no anger or name-calling. I guess time will tell and either way I'm going to work on myself.

@@ohsusanna1982 I'm feeling better. I still keep wishing me and my ex get back. Theres not one day that goes by that i miss him. But the more time goes by I feel like I still miss him. I do go through phases.. but I get over them quicker. I've worked on myself which helps out alot. I've lost 60 lbs and started my own business which is going great. We have to keep in contact because we have a child together but still no hope of getting back. 😕

I screwed up, I bombarded her. I didn't give her time to miss me or think of the good times, we have kids, its much harder, but the resentment took over. Well, I went 30 days NC. I reached out to my ex just to start a casual conversation. It seemed to have been going decently, so I asked my ex for coffee or a drink. She said "I'm no longer interested in a relationship between us. I sent a few long texts to her after that talking about what happened. I wasn't overly emotional and not begging; I was just being honest, trying to get her to understand a few things from my view. She's incredibly stubborn. I couldn't agree more. I feel exactly the same. It seems like yesterday she dumped me, yet, it feels like an eternity. Some moments I'm doing great, others not so much. @@m1ll1on4r3 This was a year ago, so I don't remember everything exactly. But I do remember her sending me a message that read almost word for word how Coach Lee said she would. I remember going back and reading it while listening to his video. Almost exactly word for word! However, her message came before I listened to Coach Lee's video, and I did not react how he suggested. I wish I had come across Coach Lee a little earlier than I did. My ex has now gone back to the man who physically, emotionally and mentally abused her. A man who she told me was a narcissist, a compulsive liar, a textbook sociopath, "the worst person she has ever known" and someone who she feared "was capable of murder" (her words). And she lives across the street from me.

Hey coach, after 10 months being separated from my wife we’ve finally started reconciling. I’m so thankful for your emergency break up kit. She’s saying she loves me, hugs me & kisses me and we’re talking about eventually getting a place together.

The irony of the timing of this video....
I’m hitting the 5th month mark of NC and imma be honest that’s there’s still rough days where I’m questioning what I did wrong. It was a short dating window but it hurt more than any other relationship I had. I think it was the fact that I’m in my 30s and that things were great until the last 2 weeks where it just fell apart really out of no where. The part that hurt the most was when he said we can be friends even when we had a whole discussion about how we were not looking for friends and how we found it irritating when people want to friend zone you. Oh well, not my first rodeo and life really does go on.

Coach Lee is right 100% . I lost my ex after breaking up due to poor Managment from me after my breakup. I didn’t give her the breakup I was begging and bleeding and this got her away of me miles. It’s now 9 years after breaking up. I know my mistakes now during the breaking up I was too weak man and I managed the breaking up time poorly that’s why I lost her completely. 6 weeks no contact after a two month relationship and I’m kinda envying all these success stories of peoples exes coming back haha (can’t relate). It was my first relationship (not his) and after reflecting back and reading ‘get the guy’ by Matthew Hussey I’m starting to realise how little I knew and all the mistakes I made during the relationship. Not sure whether he’ll come back now or whether he’ll ever know what I’m truly capable of, but I’ll trust the process of no contact and allow the best outcome to reveal itself

I tell you what and I hope this gives motivation, I made mistakes and I had suspicions my ex cheating whilst we were going out, I said this to some friends and it eventually got back to her. We went out for a year and 6 months. She unfollowed me on instagram and blocked me on Snapchat, I genuinely think I’ve won because now I have all the time I’m the world to fully focus on me. She’s with one of her exes now and I hope she’s happy, no point in being sour because this time next year I can guarantee things will be slightly different. If she ever came back then I might think about it but as time goes on I start to feel like the person I was. I have faith because if she doesn’t come back I still have myself😁

Well, it's not a boyfriend it's my husband. We separated bc he kept cheating. Well it's been 11 weeks and I have not heard one word from him nor have I seen him, but I'm trying to move on myself. I have met someone and moving slow. I don't think I EVER want him again.
I got dumped less than two weeks ago, we had just gotten back from a weekend beach vacation. I thought everything went great, awesome trip and we both had a lot of fun. Coach Lee is absolutely correct, and no matter how counter intuitive it seems, no contact is the answer. The more difficult thing is, you may not have loved that person the way you thought you did, and certainly having the relationship snatched away is where most of the pain and desperation comes from. I couldn’t trust her the way I did, I didn’t love her the same. I always found myself second guessing her intentions and how long it would last. It ended once again, about 3 months ago, but this time, I didn’t want her back. I even went so far as to block her. At the end of the day, I was worse off with her than by myself, and I needed to heal from not only trauma of the relationship but things that would hinder my future relationships. No matter how much you love someone Danny, you’ve got to put yourself first, because no one else will. You will heal, don’t get me wrong, it’s hard, today may not have been great but tomorrow will be better. If it was meant to last, it wouldn’t have fallen apart so easily.

It's supposed to be our 3rd anniversary in 3 days. After almost 3 months of our breakup, I'm deciding to just fully let him go & let go of the hope we'll get back together. Something in me says it's never going to happen. It's just painful trying to cling on to that tiny flicker of hope so I choose to just move on. On our supposed anniv, I'll write a "closure letter" and burn it along with the everlasting rose he gave me.

My ex broke up with me about a month ago after a 14 month relationship. When it first happened (by text) I asked her a bunch of questions by text. I told her I wanted her back but never begged for her back. We had a brief phone call where we both cried. A week and a half later I broke no contact because I saw that she had unfriended me from all social media and it panicked me (this was all before I had seen any of your videos). I asked to meet her in person because she said she hadn't planned on breaking up by text and wanted to talk in person. She agreed. We met up and she said that she wanted to be friends but I said I didn't want that. She was crying while asking to be friends. She gave me some reasons why she wanted to break up which didn't make sense to me and after watching these videos I understand why they didn't make sense. I asked clarifying questions, but ultimately I said that I understood her and that she knew my position. She hugged me all the while crying and telling me that she had been in love with me. I walked away without looking back. It's been a week and a half of no contact. I'm hopeful, but I'm wondering if I messed up by contacting her for several days afterwards and asking her all those questions a week and a half later in person. We both cried during the initial phone call and I cried during the in person visit, but nothing overboard. A little sarcasm on my part but no anger or name-calling. I guess time will tell and either way I'm going to work on myself.

Whaha i used to feel shit and wished my psycho ex girl back even tho she cheated and such. @@ohsusanna1982 I'm feeling better. I still keep wishing me and my ex get back. Theres not one day that goes by that i miss him. But the more time goes by I feel like I still miss him. I do go through phases.. but I get over them quicker. I've worked on myself which helps out alot. I've lost 60 lbs and started my own business which is going great. We have to keep in contact because we have a child together but still no hope of getting back. 😕

Hi Coach after all the drama , heart break and the fall out. The betrayal of a best friend and his wife and my church paster. And after listening to the anxiety music you have posted. I've decided I'm not going to wait for her I'm going to live on persue my passions. I'm going to come through this stronger, healthier and more grounded. A better person for it. I loved her dearly but the way things went down. I'm not sure if a reconciliation is possible. Enya helped me.

Yeah so what if she supported me all year through a very tough year. She went through very deep emotional family stuff at the same time. Then called off the wedding an hour before the ceremony. I was not perfect, I got fired and could only find side jobs to stay afloat. I was depressed and she never knew how to help me. She broke up with me 2 weeks after she told me on the phone she wanted to try after some time apart and wrote me a long letter saying the same. Anyway, I did all the classic give me a chance to show you what I got, Lets go to therapy together. but she simply says she wants me to be with someone who wants to be with me. Also, said the I love you but not in love with you. Just odd she told me all year how I was the man of her dreams, her rock, love of her life. Even the sunday before the wedding she said she couldn't wait. Anyway, I think I gotta move on. She isn't the kinda girl to come back to something. Was such a positive relationship before the tough 8 months. Im sad

I screwed up, I bombarded her. I didn't give her time to miss me or think of the good times, we have kids, its much harder, but the resentment took over. She had a rebound, the broke up but instead of contacting me, she went back to him. I'm kicking myself, I should have played the long game, I should have kept my emotions to myself. If your reading this, leave them alone!! Give them as much time as they need, don't rush, play the long game! I think I had a chance, but I screwed it up!

I feel like I made a huge fool of myself during the end of our relationship... I lost a very close family member and because of that I started drinking alot/self harming becoming very angry all the time ... he saw me self harm and after that he completely changed and went cold because I was also a very angry person during that period. I kept contactimg bim, emailing him and showed up to his house twice. Once I sobered up I was a completely different person and realised what i had done and sent him a message explaining that I was just intoxicated and going through alot. Apart from the last few weeks our relationship was great we had an amazing connection, we had never experienced anything like it before and were discussing marriage. Well, I went 30 days NC. I reached out to my ex just to start a casual conversation. It seemed to have been going decently, so I asked my ex for coffee or a drink. She said "I'm no longer interested in a relationship between us. I sent a few long texts to her after that talking about what happened. I wasn't overly emotional and not begging; I was just being honest, trying to get her to understand a few things from my view.
She's incredibly stubborn. She broke up with me because I wrote a journal entry in my phone about an ex and she read it. I was trying to vent out, process, and get rid of some emotions that I felt. I think that she'll never forgive me. She never would let things go if they got into her head. I made a mistake, and I felt destroyed for hurting her. I think she was the love of my life.
Please give me prayers for use to be together. I think God is the only one who can fox this now.

Does any of this awesome advice apply if I was the one who broke up with him and the one who asked him back (surprisingly, he was making no contact and I reached out to him 5-6 months after our breakup) and he agreed that we try again, but then he broke up with me two years later? And when throughout these two years he would often tell me he's not certain about us because I had hurt him a lot the first time around and he was then afraid that the story will repeat itself?
