No contact is a win-win situation if you get out of your feelings and choose to see it that way. Either the person who dumped you (if it wasn’t a toxic relationship) will get their act together and come back, or you will meet someone better by the time you have healed and gone through NC. You must AFFIRM that goodness is on the way. BELIEVE that your ex was touched by your love, your kindness and your presence. That they WILL miss it once they’ve had some time to think and the buzz of breaking up wears off. If you believe this, they will feel it. We are all atomically connected. People can feel your energy just by thinking about you and if you’re living a full and healthy life during NC your ex will know about it just by thinking about you. Remember that.
Also work on your flaws and realize attachment to other people can be unhealthy because anyone can walk out on you. You must always have a take it or leave it attitude. You'll be okay no matter what.

Yes, exes do reach out after time. But be Very wary of their motivations. Usually, life didn't turn out as fabulous as they thought it would be without you, and so they reach out in a place of weakness and fear. Obviously, there are exceptions to this. Just keep on guard until you can figure out what the true motivation is
My daughters ex keeps reaching out to her on and off for a year after they broke up which ruins her progress of moving on.. Shes still in love with him and I feel bad cause I cant do anything to stop her from interacting and no matter how I remind her not to expect reconcilation. I realized that I had wasted time waiting for someone to come back who was not able to give me what I needed, precious time that I could have used differently. So my advice is to give yourself a moment to accept this pain, it's hard, but you shouldn't waste time on someone who has done wrong. Focus on you and what you love!
Potential success story in progress: we broke up in August, she reached out 2-3 times since then but I never really let it go further from there because I didn’t think enough time passed. After 1 month of dealing with "I miss you" type stuff in social media DMs, I had to put my foot down. Told her it's confusing to hear "I need time" yet still share those things. Two weeks later she reached out again and even her mom did. We're likely going to talk over Thanksgiving. If they want a break up, give them what they want. Long distance isn't easy nor is the drastic life changes of entering the work force. She still had some maturity issues to sort out because in her eyes, me not reaching out after her asking for time meant I didn't want her back. Once I helped her see how that really doesn't actually make sense, she apologized for putting me in that state of limbo.

You were in an intense rebound relationship and it's likely that he is not over his ex and has possibly gone back to her. It's the beginning of the end when they start becoming distant and start saying they are confused and need space. I know this because i recently got dumped after being in a rebound relationship for four months. The first two and a half months were intense passion and connection and that slowly faded in her, within the remaining one and half months leading up to the break up. It sucks! I miss my ex. Been in no contact just over two weeks now, but i'm having doubts that i'll ever hear from her again. Best just to give up hope, take the time to reflect, learn from the experience and focus on bettering yourself and moving on.

We just broke up yesterday. His life is a disaster and because of it, we rarely saw each other. He would text me all day because he was thinking about me and whenever we connected it was always amazing. So the only “bad” thing was the lack of time. It's been almost two years and he hasn't reached out. I always kept myself looking good, cooked, and everything else.I loved my husband and treated him right. I’m 40 and been dating a woman (33) for 7 months.. no label but we had sex twice… she soft-ghosted me and I panicked and became too needy and anxious. Good luck to everyone out there. I have kind of a unique situation in that we lived together for almost two months after breaking up before she moved out, so my timeline may have closed already. He has a history of long periods of ghosting me. He’ll try to make me jealous from a distance, but he won’t give in first. He would hold out even if he wanted to reach out. So historically he can last a lot longer than me. I chase over time, he responds eventually.

This person keeps coming back like I am the in between person he has so many different relationships but they don’t seem to last. Longest one he has had was 8 months. Either the person who dumped you (if it wasn’t a toxic relationship) will get their act together and come back, or you will meet someone better by the time you have healed and gone through NC. You must AFFIRM that goodness is on the way. BELIEVE that your ex was touched by your love, your kindness and your presence. That they WILL miss it once they’ve had some time to think and the buzz of breaking up wears off. If you believe this, they will feel it. We are all atomically connected. Yes, exes do reach out after time. But be Very wary of their motivations. Usually, life didn't turn out as fabulous as they thought it would be without you, and so they reach out in a place of weakness and fear. Obviously, there are exceptions to this. Just keep on guard until you can figure out what the true motivation is

My daughters ex keeps reaching out to her on and off for a year after they broke up which ruins her progress of moving on.. After 1 month of dealing with "I miss you" type stuff in social media DMs, I had to put my foot down. Told her it's confusing to hear "I need time" yet still share those things. Two weeks later she reached out again and even her mom did. We're likely going to talk over Thanksgiving. If they want a break up, give them what they want. Having that maturity to respect their decision is huge. Things happen for a reason

@@ChaoticCobras We did. It was the culmination of many new things after being at the same university for a few years. Long distance isn't easy nor is the drastic life changes of entering the work force. She still had some maturity issues to sort out because in her eyes, me not reaching out after her asking for time meant I didn't want her back. Once I helped her see how that really doesn't actually make sense, she apologized for putting me in that state of limbo.
Listening to your videos has helped me so much man. She hasn't come back, but I'm starting to focus on my own life again. And it's starting to hurt less. Thank you coach Lee.

Truly I haven't felt a connection with someone like him and felt that the feelings were mutual EVER. He even introduced me to his family. I love them and I know they feel the same about me as well.

You were in an intense rebound relationship and it's likely that he is not over his ex and has possibly gone back to her. It's the beginning of the end when they start becoming distant and start saying they are confused and need space. I know this because i recently got dumped after being in a rebound relationship for four months. The first two and a half months were intense passion and connection and that slowly faded in her, within the remaining one and half months leading up to the break up. It sucks! I miss my ex. Been in no contact just over two weeks now, but i'm having doubts that i'll ever hear from her again. Best just to give up hope, take the time to reflect, learn from the experience and focus on bettering yourself and moving on.
He came back after 1.5 yrs but didn't come back offering me his best .I have him 3 weeks and broke it off because he was not honest and could not define his new intentions. I finally cut social media ties! I unfriended and unfollowed my ex. He was going through a lot of stress with his family being a fulltime caregiver for his sick father and told me he wanted me to wait for him to be ready. I am no longer feeling it. Being stressed doesn’t warrant cutting me 💯 out. The fact that he feels better without me says all I need to hear. We had been friends for 16 yrs before taking things next level but I have learned more about him this last 2 years than I did that entire 16 combined and he is nothing I thought he was an I was attracted and attached to a man that didn’t exist. It was hard to face that loss and I have days where I feel sad but mainly I am over it and know I deserve a better man!

It's been almost two years and he hasn't reached out. I always kept myself looking good, cooked, and everything else.I loved my husband and treated him right. People that know us has reached out to ask about him or talk about what he was doing but he has not personally reached out. Now he has filed for a divorce he was and is seeing someone else. I think after a few months & her already being in a relationship with someone new (even tho we have a kid together) I’ve just got myself a gym membership to work on myself physically & mentally and I’m slowly getting used to the idea she probably isn’t coming back and that I’ll be alright & that I just need to focus on being in our sons life right now. I’m 40 and been dating a woman (33) for 7 months.. no label but we had sex twice… she soft-ghosted me and I panicked and became too needy and anxious. Good luck to everyone out there. I have kind of a unique situation in that we lived together for almost two months after breaking up before she moved out, so my timeline may have closed already. We’ll see I guess. Personally, this is the fourth person I’ve tried no contact with, and it has worked once in the past. However, the one time it worked, I had already moved on and found someone else by that point.

We need to stop just updating the fact we got them bacc and start updated that we gottem bacc and another update that it's still going good within the next 3 months prior 2 you getting them bacc. Also what you learned plus more on how to handle certain situations when you ce certain things going left.
He has a history of long periods of ghosting me. He’ll try to make me jealous from a distance, but he won’t give in first. He would hold out even if he wanted to reach out. So historically he can last a lot longer than me. I chase over time, he responds eventually.
