I was diagnosed with a tic disorder and am going through the process of getting an assessment for TS. I can't explain how much I relate to this. I get so uncomfortable when I have to talk about my tics, it causes me so mush stress. I really appreciate that I'm not alone!

Fakeclaimers will fakeclaim even when there's no reason to doubt someone's experience. We have DID which is also a very misunderstood and fakeclaimed disorder like tic disorders are. We've been so scared to share our experiences with the world because of the harassment that comes eith being vulnerable and neurodivergent, but it is so hard and taxing to suppress and mask all the time (and not healthy!!). You're so fucking badass for making this channel. We've learned a lot from you - both about tourette's, but also about living authentically and that you shouldn't be ashamed of having any disorder ❤
Hope all is going well and thank you for your vids

@@TiccingTogether do you ever fear of going blind when your eyes roll up showing your tick?
Only wanted to know because I feel like everyone's parents told them if they roll their eyes to the back of their head they'll go blind so I'm just wondering also love your videos I may not have ticks but I'm glad to see there is a new thing to learn♡ (I've never learnt about turrets before)

It's ridiculous that people even make comments like this. Funny how people suddenly turn into a "Dr/Tourette expert" when they learn your TS diagnosis. I can't count the number of times my son has been told, "that's not a tic" after having one. 🙄🤦
It makes me sad to hear about the shame you felt. I think my son has similar feelings about his TS. Luckily, I don't think my daughter does, at least not yet. (knock on wood)
Just be yourself. Ignore the dumb comments. You are a beautiful person and this channel can help a lot of people.

my friend had myoclonic epilepsy and his arms would jerk, and he also said he could redirect it if he really concentrated on it, but it had to go somewhere and it took energy

I just want to say how adorable you are & I’m very grateful for your posts. I’ve learned a lot about myself because of you. I’m 67 years old and I believe I’ve had Tourette’s since about age 10. My facial ticks were so embarrassing that I learned to suppress them but over time, they just moved into my neck and jaw, then into my shoulders. The last couple of years it has worsened all over, even in my feet. I have a few motor ticks too that I just try to keep at a low level. I know I need to be diagnosed. I have a few siblings, a niece and nephews that have been diagnosed. I want to thank you for bringing awareness to Tourette’s and ticking disorders. I know you’re not fake, I believe you completely. These fake claimers don’t realize how fake and ignorant they make themselves to be. Again, thank you so much.

You've done a great job educating me about Tourette's . I was actually channel surfing this winter looking for content ideas and your channel popped up on the side of a video I was watching so I took a peak. I think it was you talking about a faker on another platform. So I thank you for what you do and added one more number to your sub count. And also thank you for the knowledge you have given me.

I feel like as long as I’ve been watching your channel you have been dealing with the fake claims. Just ignore them. It takes too much energy to deal with them. I’ve seen videos of you where you were having tic attacks and it looks so incredibly painful. Who would want to fake that? Idk, maybe it’s because I’m old enough to be your mom and my son is your age. But the older I get, the less I give a crap what other people think. I just live my truth and take care of me and those I love.

Please don't suppress., I am a 56 yo, Mum of child with TS, have a great nephew, only 4yo with vocal & motor tics, and I am a daughter of our misunderstood Dad, who I'm sure had TS. He would be mid 80's if he were still here. Keep doing what you do.
It is chrystal clear that you are authentic, kind & caring and doing so much for the TS community.

To be honest, the first video i saw with you, i thought "thats too much doesnt sound real". Before that, the only think i have seen before was videoes about ticsandroses being fake. Then i kept watching and also watched your reviews on fake and not fake and learned alot. I would never fakeclame someone out loud, not to their face, not in comments sections, not behind anyones back; this was just what i thought in my head. My point is, the education goal you have with this channel, you have accomplished and i are accomplishing i am sure of.
The things you are explaining in this video i can relate to with my mental illness. Being good at masking and with high verbal intelligente (so i explain really well) it also make people believe i am strong and intelligent in every aspect of life, and then they think i am manipulating and faking it when the things i have explained actually happens.
I wonder; do torrets and adhd often appear together? And how about ocd (i would excepct it too but i dont know)

I made a video on tiktok durring a ticc attack and I'd never showed them online like that before. Imediatly some people started to fake claim me in the comments and It sucks and its hurtful. I also hid my tourretts and was so embarrassed by them. So to be vulnerable and show a clip of a ticc attack, that took alot of courage for me.

On a serious note, I'm new to your channel (new subscriber) and have watched a lot of your videos now. You have helped me understand and educated me on tourettes. Thank you so much!
