  • Hello everyone! In today's video you're in for a WILD RIDE. I found a TikTok where this lady claims that Tourette's isn't real and that it's caused by unclean spirits. She has spread A LOT of misinformation so I'm here to educate about THE TRUTH about Tourette's and get THE REAL INFORMATION out there!!

    As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:
    Thanks for watching!

    How does she know her "baby boy" has Tourettes/ tourettes-spirit? There are a lot of motion and verbal abnormalities with similar symptoms that are hard to diagnose, but she's not taking him to a doctor to find out if it's accurate. This woman is really full of herself, and dangerous to her child's health. I hope her son doesn't develop anything serious, because if he does, she won't be the one taking him to a hospital.

      @@Pinwheelsystemsee that's logical. From my experience prayer isn't supposed to wish for things to happen/not happen, or to go your way. Prayer is to seek spiritual guidance in order to better understand and process life's inevitable obstacles and hardships in the most humble way possible...to gain wisdom, share it, and become more aware of opportunities God puts in front of us... keeping an open mind to spot these blessings, such as honest, caring doctors, necessary medicine, etc. Don't know why some religious people can't see the connection that maybe God put the doctors, scientists, medicine there as an answer to prayers. It's odd when they consider those things to be against God.

      Everything that narrow minded people don't understand is demons.
      Funnily enough, this gives demons the ability to enter because there are too many open doors when your view is too narrow to see them.
      I do believe in demons I am aware of their presence, but being open minded and able to actually know what ISN'T demons gives me the ability to cast them out in the name of the Lord.

      I reckon it’s ignorant to ignore that the lady at the beginning is a believer of Jesus Christ…the Messiah who was mocked and still is. She should be encouraged to pray on it, encouraged to let her son see a doctor as well.🙏🏾

    I pray that this woman and her son get the help they need because it seems as if either a bad spirit or human error has tricked the lady into possibly neglecting her son as he grows up.
    As a Christian with mental health disorders, our duties to our mental health are seperate from spitits, although they can affect our mental health they are not the cause of disorders.
    Like the video maker said, the brains are wired differently, and although you can pray for protection and help with dealing with your mental health, God can't cure your mental health.
    I really despise those who hurt or neglect others needs in the name of our Lord, it is a tragic and heartbreaking thing to see.
    Even if her son didn't have tourettes, imagine what other things she will just use rituals to cure rather than taking action.
    The rituals have their place but this is improper use when there aren't any spirits to be released.

    That 1st woman (i thought thered be more than one video). 🤢 How impossibly disgusting! Generational trauma.
    Edit, we'll just add from here, lol. 😊
    Thank you so much for the very descriptive definition of your disorder. You answered so many questions for me.
    😒 I hate that humans can't be bothered to differentiate bio-mechanical from faith or ego.
    😮Generally speaking, all social animals want to fit in with their peers from a primitive survival need. Dumbed down, why tf would someone want the kind of attention "different" people get?! People are mean.
    🤔 I do have a genuine question. Does science know why a tic might be a specific word or phrase? I'll use the movie "Boondock Saints." The barman has a vulgar verbal phrase. Is there a reason for that?

    I really enjoy your content! Stumbled across your channel randomly and have watched quite a few videos and feel like I have learned a lot. One of my coworkers has Tourettes and these videos have helped me understand him more and made me more aware of how I could help him if needed and a glimpse of his and others lives with Tourettes. He actually has the type of ticcs (not even going to attempt to spell it lol) where he cusses a lot typically f*ck, f********ck & G D it. When he first started working there and would have ticcs it was kinda uncomfortable for me and others because it seemed like he had some sort of mood swings or anger issues. He’s also the first person I’ve ever met with Tourettes so I didn’t really understand what it “looked like” but once me and some other coworkers learned he had Tourettes it made a lot more sense. I’ve gotten to know him pretty well over the years and am really happy I did because he’s an awesome person. I appreciate the detail and effort you put in to your content to educate viewers because it’s definitely working. For example I’ve noticed he does a lot of throat clearing, “fake” coughs and other noises like that I didn’t realize those were all ticcs. Lately he’s been doing a dry heave kinda noise and movement which I would ask him if he’s ok or having acid reflux and now I’m thinking it could be a ticc and I don’t want to draw attention to him or the noise by asking if hes ok. The biggest thing I’ve learned from him is to not judge people by their actions or how they speak. We are all unique individuals and all of our brains work differently. It doesn’t make anything “different” about the true person they are. So please give people with Tourettes a chance, don’t immediately walk away because they might act differently than others because their personality is still just as good as any other person. Keep making the content and stay the happy bubbly person you are! I love your vibes and positivity you bring to your videos

    Kind of off-topic question--but is it safe for a person with tourettes to go swimming? I mean, if you're underwater and you have a tic that causes you to inhale or whatever, you might inhale water--or do tics get suppressed in that kind of situation?

    • @owlbyovrprepared1128
      @owlbyovrprepared1128 8 місяців тому +5

      Like with anything, I'm sure it depends on the person and their specific symptoms. I'd imagine that someone with very few or no leg related tics would have different water-related risks from someone who has many leg related tics. OR someone with breathing/breathing pattern/many vocal tics may have very different water-related risks than both.
      Then there's what sort of family support or care team support someone may or may not have to help mitigate said risks, how suppressable that individual finds their tics/if the concentration is there to help temporarily reduce strength and frequency of tics, etc etc.

    I am spiritual. I have TS. As a spiritual person, I know that EVERYTHING that is in this physical existence has a spiritual beginning (from people, cats, tables, trees, poverty, to ailments.... everything). I also know that Tourette Syndrome is very real. Do I believe that the woman in the video delivered her loved ones of Tourette? I have no clue. lol -but I do know that miracles are also real and the God of Creation is bigger and stronger than anything in existence. I have been prayed for and touched and was healed of chronic back pain just like that. Miracles happen. People with physical ailments and disorders can be healed spiritually. It doesn't mean it will happen in the blink of an eye. It might take a while... or it might be instant - depending on the person afflicted, the one who is trying to heal, and the spirits involved. Of course what I'm saying might sound radical, stupid, or out-dated if you're not familiar with spirituality. Bottom line, unexplainable miracles happen every single day. Right? It doesn't make Tourette Syndrome any less real nor does it make "God" and spiritualality fake.

    Also....this can be flipped around.. God uses us in many ways....and if you know your bible...throughout its history...God has chosen the least expected to teach or go forth or stand a storm....How do we know He has not chosen you to do exactly what you are doing? Educating the world...about your disability....the way ...I feel...He uses me to educate about Autism Spectrum and Asbergers...as my son has Asbergers...as a hairstylist...my exposure to people also presents opportunities to educate people about what my son has gone through...how Autism affects him. Not trying to sound preachy...so forgive me if anyone feels that ...but you can either use a platform to teach and help others...or you can use it to do what this woman is doing...tho I admire her love for the Lord...this sent so many red flags going off....as a Christian myself.
    How you use your words matters...and tic toc is a huge platform.

    So. I'm not unopen to spiritual stuff being real. But with that said, if there trueley was a spirit attacking people in thier family, and what she did worked, then what those 2 experienced wasn't tourettes it's what she said it was. But I don't understand why the logic would have to mean that tourettes doesn't exist at all. Why can't both be true? I wonder if the lady I. That video ever maybe thought that both could he true and that those kids just didn't jave tourettes at all.

    Baptism doesn't save people, belief in God doesn't save you.... The demons believe in God they know He exists.... To be saved you turn from your sins and believe that Jesus' death on the cross was enough to pay for your sins and believe that God raised Him from the dead ... Jesus is God in the flesh btw

    Tourettes can absolutely be healed by God. To say that it can't is to not know the power of God. With that being said, God has a plan for everyone. Just because you pray, it doesn't mean that you will be cured.

      If God’s is so powerful, why would he want cancer for children?

    • @98shon98
      @98shon98 8 місяців тому

      @jenleeo I hear that asked so often. First and foremost, God doesn't cause children or anyone else to get cancer. Satan does that. Then, why are people allowed to get it and even die from it? The answer is simple. We are fallen people. We are flesh, so naturally, we sin. It wasn't always like that, not until Adam and Eve disobeyed God. Once they did that, they brought punishment onto the entire world. We will only get to Heaven by believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that he lived a sinless life and ultimately gave his life and took God's wrath and washed our sins away. He allowed forgiveness of our sins as long as we repented of them. We have to believe that HE rose from the dead 3 days later, and went to Heaven. Most importantly, we must have faith that we can only get to Heaven through Jesus Christ.
      Now, if God intervened everything something bad happened, we wouldn't live by faith, nor would we work hard to live a sinless life.
