Definitely the most thorough video out there. Thanks!! For those with recent purchases, there have been a few changes, most importantly you do not need to flip the machine over. The screw for support are now on the inside!
This machine is what the consumer 3D printing space has desperately needed. Very professionally designed and engineered from the top, all the way down to the software and firmware. They had to have had a massive financial investment to get this far.
I've seen other videos, but yours was the most thorough. Thanks for going through the unboxing and setup. Looking forward to the next video. I hope you can show any problems you've had because right now this printer seems too good to be true.
I just had to tell you that in the beginning of my 3D Printing journey I watched all of your videos and was happily modding my first 3D Printer, the Tevo Tarantula. Now after obsessing over, buying, and building 3D Printers for the last few years, I'm back binging videos about a new 3D Printer for the first time in a while. Seeing your name pop up in the search hit me with a wave of nostalgia remembering my first machine. Thanks for putting so much work into these. It was a big part of my journey!
Hi there, great video. One thing I am wondering about this machine is whether it’s possible to use a longer PTFE tube between the printer & AMS so that I could put the AMS in a more convenient location as on the shelf where I would put it the AMS would not fit up top. Is it just a simple matter of getting a longer tube or does the software rely on it being that length to tell the machine to feed properly?
Nicely done Rui, plenty of information with good camera angles, waiting for mine to arrive within the next two weeks. Thank you and keep up the good work ;-)
I agree, one of the best videos. I would also like to suggest that this video be included on a thumb drive or from their website to download, as an initial instructional video when customers first receive their units!
I just went on the Bambu Lab page. I was laughed off the page for asking some questions about price, is this actually coming out. After being laughed at on the official page hell will freeze right over before I buy their printer.
Correct, that is what we think too. If the spool holder was a bit longer, we wouldn't had the need to remove the buffer out. Maybe this is something that the manufacturer can modify in the future.
Hi, here are the dimensions: 390x390x480mm (without AMS unit) and 390x390x680mm (with AMS unit). When using the AMS unit, you need to add 20mm more because of the filament buffer. When not using the AMS unit, you need to add 90mm more because of the filament spool holder.
Nice looking printer seems to work good reached out to the company they never respond to emails be careful with these guys guys I already have a feeling when this problem's we're gonna have a hard time getting service cause they don't respond I've been contacting them for over 2 weeks nobody is responded this looks like it's a scam
could you please please make some test prints videos/tutorials on "Assassins Creed Odyssey cos-play items" such as helmets, breastplates, ect.. for example The Caduceus Blade, The Dagger of Kronus, The Leonidas Spear Head, some helmets like, The Spartan helmet, "The Radiant Leaves Crown," The Helmet of Ares, Korinthian Helmet, I've been wanted to purchase a 3D printer for some time now and with your reviews, I think might save up to purchase this one, and or a Prusa Printer ( The Prusa Mini Plus ) as it prints fast where's like other 3 print take almost either 24hrs and or say 10hrs +, I hope you will see my comment and consider making some videos please and thank you also I'm new to 3D printing as well and does it load different colors on it's own or would I have to manually change the color each time.? I see that you have the Four Filament Model that's why I'm asking as well because the Prusa printers and mini + are all compatible with the mosaic palette 3 and mosaic palette 3 pro version " and that the mosaic palette 3 pro version can use 8 filaments at a time where as the mosaic palette 3 version also uses 4 filaments at a time.
Being a kick starter always leaves me with the “scam goosebumps” … seems too much for the aprox 1k€ asked… o love the specs but the kick starter is a no go for sure, too much money to risk in my opinion (why not Just Sell it?!)
Going to production costs a hell of a lot of money. Tens of thousands minimum if not hundreds in tolling and materials. It’s even worse if you want to hit a low price as you are forced to build a much larger first order to get pricing. Even established small companies can struggle and Kickstarter is a way to get funding before the outlay without have to give up shares/ take out loans or the like
This printer is good until you have to talk to the technicians…. I’m having trouble with a defective part and I’m 3 weeks writing with them because the printer has a defective part that they don’t want to change it . The best overview of this printer to date. Not just the explanations, but the up close camera work as well. Thank you 🙏
Thanks 🙂

They did. They had a fundraiser before going to kickstarter.
Yep. They raised around 9 million dollars
The best videos I have seen, well explained, professional, clean and detailed, excellent! Thanks you 👍for sharing all that information.
I've seen other videos, but yours was the most thorough. Thanks for going through the unboxing and setup. Looking forward to the next video. I hope you can show any problems you've had because right now this printer seems too good to be true.
Hi,
thank you for your feedback.
Yes, we will try to show everything in detail. We are already working on the second video now.

Hi Forrest,
Thank you so much for your comment.
Indeed, the tarantula videos bring lots of memories to us as well. Good times :)
Well paced and thorough video - Thank you!
Yes this is the best overvue and review I have watched about this printer ans I have wayched all of those I could find, thanks
Thanks 🙂
Thanks for the tips
Thanks for the thorough detailed explanations and excellent close-ups!
Thank you 🙂

Thanks. Another setup video said to take the ams desiccant out of the plastic bags.
That was great stuff.
i'm in a bad situalion is this machine a 250 watt

I ordered one of these today I'm so exited.
cool video! You attached the spool holder upside down! :)) cheers
Awesome review best out there , thank you!
Thanks ;)
congrats, nice job with the unboxing, amazing 3D printer.
Thank you Frederico :)
I just went on the Bambu Lab page. I was laughed off the page for asking some questions about price, is this actually coming out. After being laughed at on the official page hell will freeze right over before I buy their printer.
Great video like always. Friend on mine told me about this a few weeks ago. Can you demonstrate flexible materials with print speeds?
Hi Brian, thanks. Sure, we can test that too.
From Tevo Tarantula to this beast ! What a journey Rui :) keep up good work
Indeed, what a journey :) Thank you for your support :)
Does anyone know what the printer height is with the AMS on top? I've only seen dimensions of the printer itself.
Boa tarde. Continua satisfeito com a impressora?
Continua a ser uma boa aquisição? Obrigado
Boa noite Marco, sim, continuamos a achar que a impressora é uma boa aquisição. Ela tem funcionado até agora sem problemas.
Those ‘dry bags’in the AMS looks like they were wrapped in Plastic. Should they be unpacked ?
Hi, yes, you need to remove them from the plastic bags.
You don’t need to remove the buffer just feed in the filament directly into the tube after the buffer.
The spool does not fit on the spool holder unless the buffer is removed. The alternative is to place the filament somewhere else.
@@ruiraptor Okey, so it’s the standard to short holder? Otherwise it would be bad and I need to drill some holes further up for the buffer.
Correct, that is what we think too. If the spool holder was a bit longer, we wouldn't had the need to remove the buffer out. Maybe this is something that the manufacturer can modify in the future.
@@ruiraptor I will print a longer version.
Can you try printing TPU with the AMS? I know they say it cant, but Im curious to see if it works, even if suboptimally.
Ok, we can try and see what happens.
@@ruiraptor Did you ever try tpu in the AMS?
@@BeefIngot we are testing different filament types. TPU is on our list but we didn't test yet.
Wow,
Shouldn’t the magnetic bed plate be repelled when it’s flipped because it’s a magnet?
plate is spring steel. The bed itself is the magnet 🧲
Great video 👍. Could you please mention the 3d printer’s dimensions with and without the AMS system on top?
Hi, here are the dimensions: 390x390x480mm (without AMS unit) and 390x390x680mm (with AMS unit).
When using the AMS unit, you need to add 20mm more because of the filament buffer. When not using the AMS unit, you need to add 90mm more because of the filament spool holder.
@@ruiraptor Thank you for those detailed measurements 👍
It was a perfect printer until the proprietary filament. I wonder if there's a way to use any filament.
We mention that in the video. You can still use other filament brands with this printer.
@@ruiraptor Wow.. That's good to know. So it works even without the RFID of the spool?
Correct. It works even without the RFID on the spool.
nothing scarier than getting to the bottom of my X1C and not having stickers or the same bottom for that matter. RIP. great video though.
Rui convinced me to buy Tevo.... Now he's convinced me to get Bambu...

yo. you uploadded pro ,
Not entirely sure why you hid your SSIDs... my wifi SSID is "I have your dog" and "Whose vintage NES is this?"
There's some tools that allow you relative accurate positioning of someone's house if their SSID is rather unique....
