Here’s a pro tip put little disposable plastic shower caps on your buffing wheels when they’re not in use so they don’t collect other compounds and dust and grit from your shop
Really appreciate your videos You share a lot of information that sometimes takes a lot of research but when you’re new even the basics are unknown until you learn Very helpful thank you
This is the same system guys have been polishing big truck wheels and fuel tanks with a hand held. Its truly amazing what this can do. They also have a liquid polish you can finish up with just using a fiber cloth for that extra fine mirror.
Want to mirror polish a Manix 2 blade for me this year? This year I want my big project knife to be a mirror polished Manix 2. Was originally thinking about harvesting a MagnaCut blade from a Salt, but people have been having huge problems getting them to work in G10 liners, so now I'm thinking about CPM Cruwear when the Crucarta Manix drops.
Hi from ireland, super videos.. ive a question, what or when do you decide between buffer wheels vs scotch brite belts vs very high grit belts for getting the finish? Thanks
Hello! Big thanks from the deep North of Canada for all your work and videos! I was wondering what king of grinfer fif you ude in this video! These could be a game changer for me also, many thanks for bringing this product to the community's attention. Since you've used them for a while, do you have any feel for how long each wheel is likely to last? 100 blades each? 500?
Hi from Australia, love the channel, what is the kit called. Also, I don't think they sell to Aus so will have to contact them or find a supplier, unless you know one that posts international
They absolutely will ship to Australia. I live in NSW and they have shipped to me. I called them and they were super helpful. They got me a quote on shipping and I had my order in two weeks!
Hey dude, started using this kind of buffing and polishing system for about 20 years on many different metal projects, just hobby stuff, and motorcycle parts. To get super fine needs i use cape cod polishing clothes. This will polish out small scratches in glass and mirrors. Have you used this for anything? I like to see others work and get good tips . Never to old to learn. Do you use epoxy glue on you scales. If so what kind. Thanks. Good video. Gunna subscribe.
I've been using a generic airway wheel for a couple of months. I've a set in my cart from redlabel but haven't pulled the trigger yet. On a side note what rpm is your buffer/grinder? Keep up the good videos.

I take most blade finishes to the same grit no matter what final finish I plan to do
Could we use something like that to polish the edge as well? For example after sharpening on a guided system as a finish?
Absolutely!

Use a wood bastard file to rough them up
