    Since I discovered Bob and Brad, my posture has improved so much! I have degenerative disc disease, and I have pain every day of my life. But I realized after I started watching these videos, that 90% of my pain is caused by my horrible posture. Because taking Bob and Brad’s advice has made a huge difference in both my posture and my pain. Now I’m driving my kids crazy, telling them to fix their posture, so they won’t be in constant pain when they’re older.

      Can you tell me which all videos and how exactly did you get rid of your pain? It’s because I’m actually having really bad neck, shoulder & back pain (upper & lower) all because of bad posture & I need to get it cured as soon as possible!

I watched many of your videos for exercises and stretches, and they helped me immensely. I have also shared your videos with my mother who is 82 and wants to maintain healthy posture. Your exercises are so much more doable than the ones my physioterrorist put me through after a # greater tuberosity. The worst part was being scolded for raising my shoulder during exercises. As my brain wasn’t registering this, I was unable to comply. A year later I have enough movement to see me through what’s left of my life, but that shoulder continues to rise without my knowledge.

    2. Press-ups (10 reps).
    3. Hip flexor stretch (kneeling lunge, back knee on pillow, come forward, x10 each side).
    4. Double or single led bridges (for glute activation).
    5. Ball in chair (with partly flat kickball).
    6. Broomstick overhead and back (no forward head/tuck chin).
    7. Wall angels (start low and go as high as you can, do 10 to fill up the time).

    Hey Bob & Brad great videos as always. You guys rock. Just an idea for a cheap hack for the Backpod. I know you guys like to find cost effect alternatives to products when you can to save your viewers money. A Men’s Protective Cup (you know, the kind you put in a jockstrap... seriously) works great. You can find one for five bucks. Since cups are usually hard and stiff, I place a few T-shirts or a folded blanket over the top and it works wonders.

    Any chance from poor posture and sitting slouched for years that my stomach muscles are weaker (no aneurysm...checked for that) and feel strained when I try to stand up straighter? We have had months of rain and spent too much time on our ancient couch watching during covid). Any thoughts appreciated.

    • @madelineembrey7838
      @madelineembrey7838 2 роки тому

      Yes definitely. Our core muscles aren't engaged when we're slouching, which weakens them, making the slouching worse, and so on. Core stability makes such a huge difference in how our whole body feels and works. I'd recommend seeing if this channel has some core stability and strength videos. There are other good channels of course, but you know these guys are going to be responsible and reliable every single time, so I just stick with them for advice aside from my own PT. Definitely a lot of misinformation out there put out by amateurs!
