Ok, I'm just a silly ole grandmother (5 married kids, and 16 grands) who has always had a thing for birth. I'm also a lover of Jesus, and of love and family and this video hit every note for me on every level. You should be very proud of you young lady. You were extremely controlled, peaceful, FOCUSED, honestly ... not every birth can go this smoothly, but every birth can have every element you provided here. You and your husband created that environment. You commanded there'd be peace, you beckoned the presence of the Holy Spirit, you insisted there'd be joy and fullness and quiet and security and love. You walked right through this so gracefully. Bless you and your sweet family.
I've always been against sharing too personal things on the internet, especially involving children, for many reasons. But this... thank you. I'm a young adult woman, and pregnancy and birth have registered close to body horror for me for as long as I can remember. It's had me in this constant state of quiet dread. Knowing at any moment something horrible could happen, and I could be forced to go through what I saw as something horrific and destructive. Something agonizing, full of screaming and blood, surrounded by strangers who may not have their hearts or minds in the right place, in a cold room under fluorescent floodlights. I'd never thought it could look anything like what you've shown me. Warmth. Peace. Love. Comfort. No panic or shouting instructions. Gentle flowing water and soft lights with family gathered in support. You were secure and calm, understanding everything your body was doing and just allowing it, so in tune. I genuinely hardly ever cry, but this has had me tearing up a few times. Over the beauty of it all and just how wrong I was. I don't know if I'll ever have the bravery to have a child. But if I do, it'll be in part because you showed me just how lovely it can be when you rest in God's beautiful design. I hope to be like you someday, so assured and faithful. And I pray when the time is right, I'll find my Tom. Thank you. May God bless you forever.
I'm a grown man and we have 4 children of our own. I cried when they were born and I cried again watching this. I don't know why but there's something very special about the miracle of birth! I pray God will bless this beautiful family and have an active role in your lives. Well done both of you. ❤🙏❤
You guys are Christians! The music playing, the bible story you was reading with your child and prayers. This is inspiring!. Im due in November and this really encouraged me. You had soo much peace. That is what im praying for 😊. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏾
This comment thread made me so happy! I wish you all the best!!! I was also due in November, but last year and now I have such a lovely miracle turning 1 when you all are going to meet your miracles! God bless!
Your birth story is INCREDIBLE! To laboring in your own home while you have the support of your family downstairs. This is how God designed birth to be. May God continue to bless your new family of 4 🩷
This is one of the most beautiful peaceful births I have ever seen. You can feel Gods love and presence even thru the screen. I loved how the sweet babies reached out immediately looking for his mom to get him and hold on tight just like we do for our savior. Thank you so much for sharing this video. I have had three births myself and let me tell you, you handled this amazing! Congratulations to you all on the new family member.
Samantha how beautiful to watch your focus and acknowledgement of the work your body was doing without fear of the pain..leaning into it instead ❤. The same with your vocalisations using it to ground you.. Tom you are a legend walking with your wife as it should be for father’s. Thank you for sharing these moments and blessing those who come after you two. Congratulations to you all and wishing you God’s blessing always.
Isn’t it crazy how good our mighty God is? How a woman’s body is so powerful and unique that it houses a life inside it, feeds it, nurtures it, and then does everything it’s suppose to give birth on its own. Watching the way your husband was with you every step of the way made me cry. What a blessing your family is. Congrats! ♥️
Such a beautiful birth! When you looked up and were holding your baby I cried. I have 5 kids and 2 grandkids. My daughter birthed both of them at home with a midwife. Could feel Jesus with you, the prayers, the worship, the love between you all. Congratulations and may bless you and keep you🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼
What an amazing experience for your family. Just came across your channel today while searching for gardening and homesteading and found myself sobbing like a child while watching your little family grow. God bless you both.
It’s so beautiful to witness a woman in full trust of her body, her baby and her ability to birth. It’s nearing 4 years since I free birthed my youngest and this was so good to watch leading up to his birth day. Congratulations on your wee babes arrival in the world.
This video gave me so much inspiration ! I watched it twice. I wanted a unassisted birth for my baby boy in 2023 and ended up caving but I am expecting a little girl in March of 2025 and this gave me so much encouragement and faith that I can do it . This was beautiful ❤
This is just so unbelievably beautiful. I’m due in 1 week and would love an experience like this. You did a beautiful job and have a beautiful family 🩵
You can do it.. no matter how your labor and birth turn out never forget you did it mama and you're amazing regardless of what you need to get thru the birth. People like to act as if giving birth 100% drug free makes their labor somehow better, but that is not the case. I've had them all csection for #1 high medical intervention because I was so sick with pre-eclampsia turned eclampsia. 2nd nearly born in the car, came 6 minutes after we got to the hospital, drug free, #3 home birth and #4 born in 2.5 hours from first pitocin, epidural, medical intervention because my blood pressure was dangerously high. The epidural was given to lower my blood pressure. It worked. Anyway, every single birth was beautiful and after every single one I was a mother that did what needed to be done to get my baby here healthy. Much love, you're going to be a wonderful mother.
Update: I had a beautiful homebirth experience. Very intense but not traumatic. I feel soooo blessed to have had my support team and my little family with me. It was a beautiful experience
That baby came out so clean and so strong. She was already holding her head up. THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO! I had two cesarean births so I never had the chance to experience a natural wonderful birth. I feel lucky in some ways but I also wish I could have experienced the empowerment of giving birth at home naturally. 😢 That's why I admire these videos, even though I couldn't experience it I can see what it would have been like.
That was so amazing. I am honored to have experienced this "with" you. It was peaceful like my daughter's birth, however I didn't have mom focused and home comfort. And it makes my heart happy to see the wonderful experience you had. Thank you so much for sharing such an intimate moment.
This has been one of the most incredible births I've ever seen! Absolute miracle. And mama, you're a freaking rock star! And i loved how your husband was right there supporting you. Sending you all the love! ❤❤❤
Ok the support of Tom had me happy teary eyed but then the support of Tom AND BOTH OF YOU PRAYING TOGETHER TOOK ME ALL THE WAY TO CRY CITY!! 😊This was so beautiful to see !! Thank you for sharing this!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This was just beautiful. I’m a mom of 6 (from 23years to 2 years) and grandma of 2. Im also a retired L&D nurse and you did an amazing job. I often watch beautiful moments like this and I’m always stunned at how amazing our bodies are to do this. She was born in the cull as well, which by superstitions is a lucky thing!! Congratulations on your baby girl!
So so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I laughed and cried. My first was sadly still born. My next 3 we’re all born at home with a midwife. I loved birthing at home. It’s my safe space. My third home birth was very fast. In the early stages. My then 2.5 yr old daughter was on my bed with me and I remember that deeply breathing in the scent of her hair. Her scale. Gave me great relief during surges. Well done. You all did a wonderful job prepping and managing a homebirth. Free birth even. Happy to find your channel. From south east Gold Coast
No words can explain what i just witnesses....this was extraordinary! I've never seen a natural birth like this before. It was deeply moving. Thank you for sharing this amazing moment and congratulations!!!❤
WOW!!! Just wow!!! I am sooo impressed Samantha! This is the best home-birthing experience I've ever seen! What a blessing and a privilege! I will be forwarding this to my daughter (and son's partner) to show her what trusting in God and your own body's ability looks like. This is the perfect example. You have role-modelled exactly what other women can do if they choose to and have faith in themselves. This is what God created their bodies to do. I wish I had known this when I was having my children. Tom was the perfect partner to support you with all that you needed, as this is very important. He is an amazing man, husband and father. I love his quirkiness and he makes me laugh often! What a beautiful soul! Thank you so much for sharing such an intimate and precious moment with us all, as it will bless many more to come. I found your family's UA-cam page about 1 week ago and subscribed immediately as I connect with all that you are doing, and I have the same desires and ambitions. I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos, and I'm excited to follow along on your amazing journey. Congratulations on growing your family so beautifully. Sending much love and blessings from WA😘❤🙏Happy Birthday Zipporah!👶🦋🐞🌺🎉🎂
Oh my goodness sweetheart 💜 what an absolutely beautiful experience and for sticking to what you both wanted. You showed the beauty and power of the female body. This is the first video of yours i have watched and im so so proud of you. I have watched many many birth vlogs and this is the first time i have so drawn to comment. So so many special and beautiful moments throughout. From Tom being able to help calm and sooth you just with his pressence and touch. You both encompass what being soul mates and true love is all about. The moment of you all laying together at the end was beyond words priceless. Thank you for sharing such a raw and vulnerable time with us. Due to medical issues i am unable to have children but you managed to make me feel i was right there with you. Tom what an incredible husband and father you are. I look forward to following your journey. Lots of love to you all 💜
Amazing job Samantha , Tom what amazing encouragement you gave to Samantha while birthing your second child. I am in ore of you all. Good luck for the future
I cried. 😭😭😭 I just absolutely loved this video. Thank you two for sharing this blessed moment with us all. Your both such an inspiration. And Sam, your amazing. Yah truly will use this video for years to come to inspire many woman all over the world.
I came upon this video so randomly. I wasn’t even searching for a birth video at the time but this is the best one I’ve seen on YT and I know it’s because of y’all’s trust in Jesus and God’s process for birth. My husband and I are due this fall and are planning an unmedicated birth. I’ve had to work through a lot of fears (mostly related to the pain) but we see so many reasons to birth at home, namely the sense that this is where God is calling us. His mom is a retired wonderfully God-centered midwife and we’ve been taking birthing classes from a very Godly retired midwife who has taught us that childbirth is not only not a curse but a picture of being born-again that draws us closer in relationship to our God and our husbands. She has been so encouraging to us in this journey. I’m also reading a book called Holy Labor by Aubry G. Smith that has been encouraging to me also. Prayers appreciated as we walk this journey into parenthood. We were already parents because we lost our first baby at 13 weeks last year but this will be a whole new experience. Love to you all ❤
My last child was 28 years ago but I still remember that pain like I was there again. Congratulations and thank you for sharing😊 God Bless your family of 4🙏💙
Thank you for allowing people to see your birth story. You have encouraged me. My heartbeat surely sped up as you went through transition and I loved how you kept involving the Lord. Congratulations! I am next and will be thinking of your video. Beautiful to see you so peaceful as a family afterwards. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful birthing story. I hope it inspires more people to know their own strength and trust in the natural process. Sending love ❤️
I was Koah but a little bit older when my sister was born at home in 1979. I sat on my Aunty’s lap and watched my sisters head crowning. I remember the midwife’s washed gown hanging over the mantle over the fire after. It was a warm cosy experience
Congrats! I’m due on July 16th, but not in active labor yet😢. I’m so ready. Not planning this type of birth but happy it all worked out. Baby reaching out to you is so precious.
You are unbelievable not to be vocalizing during the ring of fire!? I was super controlled with my voice almost the whole labor, but once the ring of fire hit, all bets were off, haha! 😂 Congratulations!!
Same! My brain was shouting ‘get it out! get it out!’ thankfully I didn’t vocalise that though. I was cut with my first delivery and tore with the second. I definitely preferred being cut although my first was a little smaller so that may have had something to do with it. I was also in my mid 20’s with the first and late 30’s with the second.
Wow wow wow. You are one heck of a powerful lady and Tom was the partner of a lifetime. It was amazing to see you go through your labor with so much relaxation and good vibes. I am beyond touched and can feel the beautiful energy through the screen! Amazing, thank you for sharing.🥰
So encouraging to see your birth video! My husband and I are starting our little family off with humble beginnings- first arrow due this December and it’s getting real! I look forward to following your journey as we too aspire to be more simple fellow homesteaders taking things back to the way our Lord designed! 💛
To all those people out there who seem to be confused about what a woman is these days, need to watch this video. You are incredible mama. Well done and congratulations to your beautiful family❤
Sobbing while watching this 😭 I am due in a week & have so much anxiety around birth but videos like these bring so much comfort, Sam the calm you maintained is soooo inspiring & i pray that i can bring the same energy to my birth! Congratulations beautiful family 🥰
So glad you are showing this to the world. From now on I will recommend your video to the familys I give midwife care. So peaceful, calm, strong and empowering. Hopefully it helps some women to gain back the trust in theirselfs and the birthprocess. ❤
As a mum of 5 children, my eldest being 34 and my youngest being 11, this was a beautiful experience to see. Welcome to the birth of your gorgeous baby girl ❤
What a beautiful birth experience ❤️. Doctors need to stop making women push - our bodies know what to do. You have a beautiful family. (I did laugh when the power went out and thought ‘that would definitely happen to me!’). Congratulations!
Congratulations on the beautiful birth of your daughter. such a blessing from our heavenly father. You guys are amazing and a great testimony to our loving creator. Shalom.
This is literally the best video I've ever watched in my life. I cried. I don't even know you guys. I watched one video last night of you buying land and just seen this on my feed tonight. You really do look so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!
That was so beautiful to witness. It was so incredible watching you just go with what your body was telling you Samantha, you are truly amazing and an inspiration. I love watching your beautiful family grow. The love you have for each other is so beautiful. I can't wait for a tour and the story of how you guys built your home. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing the birth with us all ❤
This is the best birth I ever seen! ❤️ Just perfect and beautiful thats a strong woman right there! I do believe you are a awesome mum! Congratulations 🎊
Oh my gosh...Im crying my eyes out with happiness for your beautiful sweet family, and crying for my own memories of my grown up babies. Thankyou for letting us share your special time.
Congratulations, I love watching birth vlogs and yours was one of the best I’ve watched! You handled everything so well. Very inspiring for what I hope my second birth can be like ♥️
What a beautiful documentation of the birth of sweet little baby girl. Im in tears here. I'm 63 and I wish birthing options like this were around when I jad my 2 children in my mid 20s. Congratulations to you all on your new family member and God bless.
You brought me to happy tears. The strength You have & Tommy & Koah gave you was Amazing. The lights going out was God saying a new life was going to be born such a beautiful beginning ❤ I really loved how you captured every moment you could during your labour especially when it was the moment of your family of 3 . Welcome Beautiful Zipporah joy ❤ God Bless you all 🙏🙏💖
Thank you so much for sharing your most intimate moments beautiful family. A Christian family here in Australia starting their homesteading journey. I’m a follower. Zipporah is such a beautiful name. You are so brave Samantha, free birthing your second child and inspiring others to homebirth. I homebirthed all 5 of mine with the last two being free births. Always trusting the Lord that He is our creator and master midwife. My last was a surprise breech birth after 3 days in labour and my waters breaking at 36 weeks. She was born healthy and strong. I believe in Letting nature take its cause without interventions and there will be less complications and miracles will happen.
Thankyou for sharing such a beautiful part of your lives with us, the birth of your girl the way God intended. I started crying as soon as the bath started running and waves of emotion kept me crying as your labour progressed and birthed your beautiful girl. Samantha you did an amazing job and I have so much respect for you both. My 3rd baby was assisted birth with a doula, but still a hospital birth. I used breathing techniques right up till pushing stage. Had complications and needed gas to help me through as my son nearly got stuck and my pelvis has never been the same. But my 4th baby I was much more confident from that experience listening to my body and not fearing the pain but working with it. God Bless you guys, I hope everything is going well Congratulations 💕🌸
Congratulations you two! Sam, from one mamma to other, I really admired your strength + Calmness 😊✨️ You both did a beautiful job in working together + making the space peaceful xo
I had two wonderful home births but I’d give anything to go back and do all the self-midwifery you did!!!! You blew me away Mama! I cried the whole last five minutes of your birth. Just sobbing and sobbing because I know what it feels like. I recognized those sounds you made. And you have an incredible partner. I have rarely seen a man be able to actually contain his partner while she labors. Usually, he’s nervous and it doesn’t really feel safe and strong to the woman. But I could tell that you did feel complete confidence in him. You guys have such a beautiful family. Made my night to see your video! Thank you for sharing it! ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on the birth of Zipporah. ❤ It was such a lovely video. I was smiling & crying along with you. ❤ Thank you so much for sharing this special moment with us. God bless. ❤
This is one of the most beautiful birth videos I’ve ever witnessed! And even more beautiful that the whole thing was rooted in Christ. 🥰 Thank you for sharing your journey! I have tears streaming down my cheeks as I reminisce on my previous unassisted home birth and prepare for the next one that’s coming in a few weeks.
Your birth was so beautiful and the control and calm when pushing or letting the baby come out naturally was amazing. I’ve had five babies of my own and this was so amazing to watch. ❤
I’ve only just seen your you tube channel and tonight watched your free birth. Wow. Just wow. I’ve home birthed 2/4 of my babies and watching how calm your birthing day was, was truly incredible. I’m in awe at how calm you were when your baby was actually born. You breathed through your birth and were a total superstar. I had tears watching it at the end. Thankyou so much for sharing such a personal experience of your life and the birth of your beautiful girl. I hope this inspires more women to home/free birth.
You guys that was just incredible 🤍 Sam you are absolutely amazing, that was so beautiful to watch I was balling my eyes out. Just so special, and little Zipporah is perfect. Congratulations to all of you and thanks for sharing this special time with us 🤍 hope you are recovering well and sending lots of love to you all 💛
Samantha...you are a super star. I was pushing along with you and TBH I thought it was a boy from the shape of your belly. I am elated you had a little girl! You did such a wonderful job and brought me to tears with joy! Well done super-mum 🌹🌷🌺
This is the most beautiful birth I have ever watched. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter! You are such a warrior and meant to have babies!!!
Congratulations, that is the most beautiful homebirth I have ever seen. You are the strongest woman and I’m just overwhelmed by your strength. God bless you your family and your beautiful new little baby girl. 🎉🎉🎉🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful, holy moment. Mom, you are an absolute Rockstar! What a precious family. I couldn't help think the whole time how no matter what time period women live in, this remains the same. God has made our bodies to grow and deliver a baby. So beautiful. Dad was so loving and supportive. Congratulations to you all.❤
Samantha you are an absolutely beautiful mum and you did such an amazing job on the birth of your beautiful baby girl. She is just beautiful and I am so happy for both of you. I cried so many times, thank you for sharing such a gorgeous, intimate moment. Loving watching your journey guys, we are about to start ours in the near future too, we are looking to buy around Dungog in the mountains in NSW.

You are so remarkable. I've seen live births before but u are the first woman I've seen deliver her own baby. U are amazing.
Das ist das schönste Geburtsvideo das ich je gesehen habe.
So viel Vertrauen, Liebe und Gefühl.
Wundervoll dabei sein zu dürfen.

Lots of love to you all 💜
What a beautiful birth! Thanks for sharing! "I am woman, hear me roar", should be your mantra. Congratulations!
I watched my 3 children being born and even 1 of my grandchildren. I watched your video with the same tears of joy. Bless you kids❤️☝️
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. You made childbirth look easy❤
This is so beautiful ❤🥹 I love the support Tom gave you during your labour🥹❤
Amazing job Samantha , Tom what amazing encouragement you gave to Samantha while birthing your second child. I am in ore of you all. Good luck for the future
I cried. 😭😭😭
I just absolutely loved this video. Thank you two for sharing this blessed moment with us all. Your both such an inspiration. And Sam, your amazing. Yah truly will use this video for years to come to inspire many woman all over the world.
You made it look easy, oh my word 😭 this was amazing to watch. Absolute warrioress
Love to you all ❤
Congratulations! What a trooper you are! And what a wonderful husband to go through labor together. Tears!😭
I hope you had a happy and safe delivery ❤
What a beautiful family and an amazing birth vlog! Thank you so much for sharing Samantha and Tom. Welcome to the world Zipporah 🤗☺💗
I'm loud from contractions til the whole baby is out lol 😅
This by far, the most beautiful birthing video I have seen! God bless your precious family!
So so encouraged and inspired by your birth and how you approached it! Believing for a redemptive birth story next! Taking so many notes from you.
That is the most beautiful birth i have ever seen and brought me to happy tears. Thankyou so much for sharing xo
Best video on youtube... So inspiring and unbelievable. Love you Zipporah xx
To all those people out there who seem to be confused about what a woman is these days, need to watch this video. You are incredible mama. Well done and congratulations to your beautiful family❤
Trans and non binary bodies give birth too ;)
This is the truest thing I’ve ever read ❤❤❤
You just had to use this as an excuse to be transphobic and hateful. No hate like Christian love..
@@roseblossom166 . Stating the obvious it’s not being trans-phobic. Get over yourself.
Amazing
Sobbing while watching this 😭 I am due in a week & have so much anxiety around birth but videos like these bring so much comfort, Sam the calm you maintained is soooo inspiring & i pray that i can bring the same energy to my birth! Congratulations beautiful family 🥰
So glad you are showing this to the world. From now on I will recommend your video to the familys I give midwife care. So peaceful, calm, strong and empowering. Hopefully it helps some women to gain back the trust in theirselfs and the birthprocess. ❤
The most beautiful birth I've seen. Well done and Congrats to you all.

Welcome Beautiful Zipporah joy ❤ God Bless you all 🙏🙏💖
Beautiful to watch. On a side not though, what an active baby! So much strength in the arms and the head moving about.
God Bless you guys, I hope everything is going well
Congratulations 💕🌸
That was the single most amazing thing I ever saw. Thank you for sharing this intimate moment. I’m crying😢
Congratulations you two!
Sam, from one mamma to other, I really admired your strength + Calmness 😊✨️ You both did a beautiful job in working together + making the space peaceful xo
Beautiful birth Samantha. You did amazing. So did dad. Your son Koah was awesome too.
I love that our Heavenly father was a part of your birth plan❤😊
You are a true champion!!! Well done Girl…. God was truly there with you through it all!!! What a beautiful little girl!❤
This is the most beautiful birth I have watched in my whole binge I'm having here at 8months. So inspiring!
Wow absolutely amazing job! I'm having a homebirth in September and this was so encouraging to watch!
This was an absolutely beautiful birth. Congratulations to you both on your sweet baby boy. God is truly Great!
A girl
As a fellow homebirth mumma, this was so beautiful to watch. Congrats family 🎉
