  • This is my take on the Kramer Pacer Vintage. Kramer has revisited their classic roots to a modern era. Check it out!

Some nice licks there bud. I’m looking at one of these. Play regularly in a band and do alot of 80s classic rock. These do sound quite good. Would you recommend one. Any issues? Have had a Floyd before though was few years ago. So know about setting up etc. much respect from the Uk 🇬🇧

If you’re going to consider one of these guitars, the Kramer Pacer Vintage, not the Pacer Classic, is what you’d want to get. The tuning stability is great especially when the guitar is well intonated. The Seymour Duncan pickups are really hot so if you’re gonna stack drive pedals or push a distortion pedal with an overdrive, a noise gate is definitely a must. Now again the pickups are really hot so if you’re pushing gain to get heavy saturation for a good chugging sound you might need to connect some extra ground or some shielding because I did notice a lot of humming even with the noise gate on. Then again it could be the particular one that I got but I did buy it brand new. However I had a personal guitar tech run some extra ground wiring and now the guitar sounds top notch. If you’re gonna try one out in the store test it out on a really high gain amp and push some metal tones and you can make the judgement call for yourself. Other than that I love this guitar!
