    I have one of these though not upgraded to the bones like this! Just added a D-tuna and made it dive only, plus a push in arm. Its easily my favorite in my collection. Debating getting a 42mm fat brass block as for some reason it comes with a 32mm block!

    That is a slick/sick modded LE Pacer, 4 SURE!! I have a Gold Sparkle unit on the way (serial # only about 50 down the line from this one!) and a MIK Tiger Stripe unit in my possession. They DO like to reside in Eb Standard...and they are TONE MONSTERS in "stock" configuration!! With the "Treble Bleed Circuit" you can go from EVH "Brown Sound" to Dokken "'80's Hair Metal" with just a slight adjustment of the Volume Knob!! Really USEFUL Axes!!

      Yes, they ARE "substantial" (my Gold unit proved no different)...but I find THAT to be an important part of their "tonal character"! Great "Focus", as George Lynch described it. Just did multiple recording sessions with it...STANDING UP!! "Posture" and "strap choice" are definitely CRITICAL!

    Ok Dane? So i have re freted a few Necks with Stainless wire, the last one i used Jescar NY super jumbo Stainless steel Fret wire and mine are all cut and dressed before they go in the Neck. It's because of the hardness it's done this way. Normal wire , i would put them in first. Still coming in September so don't forget to get some Tea bags.

    I bought the Gold one about 2 years ago brand new from an old 2015 stock. Very nicely built by the Koreans and it comes with a molded Kramer case, very rare on a guitar with that price point.

    My first real decent was a guitar just like this. I was 14 years old. Not sure about the titanium. I doubt mine had that 🤣. Mine was emeral green. Looked like glass. I didn't even know Eddie's was a makeshift Kramer. I loved that guitar and miss it.
    Edit: I know my Pacer didn't have all the upgrades this guy put on his. I had Seymour Duncans for pick-ups and a regular floyd rose. But I remember mine soubding better than that. Maybe the amp they plugged him in?. I played thru Marshall head and cab.

      This is a guitar I've had modded over a year or so time as an adult with a regular career, yours was back in the day when you were 14, I can't blame you for not having all the upgrades, depending on your age some may have not even existed. As for the awful tone, I agree, Dane just needed a quick video and didn't bother with dialing in the tone perfectly on the little Fender tube amp he used, just wanted to show it in action.

      That is a really nice looking guitar. I do have a question though. The nut is locking so why have locking tuners? I never understood that. Another thing, people are ALWAYS going to bag other players. It’s natural. Come to expect that. Always going to be a few in the crowd. I wish I was good enough to have a string dampener. Maybe one day.

    • @billybigbass4461
      @billybigbass4461 Рік тому

      Ok, but string changing takes like 5-10 minutes. The inspecting, cleaning, conditioning takes the most time. The only purpose for them is with a non locking nut. Otherwise it’s redundant and a waste.

    • @FretLevelMidnight
      @FretLevelMidnight Рік тому +1

      @@billybigbass4461 5-10 minutes a string change when you own over 20 guitars is much more lengthy than you're making it out to be. It's not redundant to me the owner to have high grade tuners on an instrument I play almost daily, them being locking is only a feature and doesn't attest to the great quality tuners that are Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners. You keep your guitars how you want them, and I'll keep mine the way I want them.
