There was a moment in _Star wars: the Clone Wars_ that was similar to Lena piloting the ship. I can't remember what specific episode it was, but it did have similar controls. In that show, the clones had some trouble figuring it out at first, and by the time they did get a hang of it, they accidentally blew up a hangar.
