And if you want a HILARIOUS Supergirl, read her early comics (1959-69). Some of those stories are comedy gold and gloriously bizarre (like her being on a planet rescuing peasants and insect-people from evil fire-eyed people and their tax collectors). Supergirl's funny or sassy quips are the icing on the cake. They make this TV version of her look like absolute radioactive dogsh*t by comparison.
