- Cooler Master are revamping their entire Mastercase lineup with upgrades all around. The H500P has received plenty of improvements to make it stand out with new mesh for better airflow and other frame adjustments for easier assembly. The Mastercase 600P & 500M get a price reduction along with several frame improvements. Exciting start to 2018 :)

Whether you dig these cases in specific or not, the best things about this video is a company showing they are listening to customers AND are lowering prices while adding features. I'm floored and really happy that I bought a Cooler Master keyboard a couple weeks ago. Makes me want to focus on this kind of company more than others.
First of all, props to CM for listening to the community. Secondly, that RGB PSU shroud looks amazing. I just completed my first case lighting project last night and now I'm a bit envious ;)

They really meshed-up the H500P.
Really awesome that CM has taken feedback from the community and actually improved the cases in pretty substantial ways in a relatively short period of time.
I really like the H500M, and I especially like that it's designed with a TG front panel without choking the fans.
Hopefully the Cosmos will get improvements as well at some point!
I have a PNY CS2211 I quite like the look of, made a bracket in my 600T just to be able to see. I think having the option to show it hide the PSU with be the best of both worlds
Wow, Cooler Master actually fixed everything. Why/how they screwed up so bad in the first place is a beyond me ...

You guy's really deserve a lot more views. The editing and professional polish to your video's make other tech channel's look mediocre. You have that "all in your stride" approach, that makes even video's from Linus media group look choppy and heavily add based because of the way the content is portrayed in that sell sell sell approach. Tech should be fun, and this is how it's done

the H500M looks nice. not sure I can wrap my head around spending $200 on a cooler master case, but it is making me think about it.

Great coverage as always! Loving the stuff that CoolerMaster is doing this year. The Mesh on the H500P is a breath of fresh air, and the H500M is looking to be an awesome case!
I ADORE that little acrylic piece on the power supply shroud. Absolutely incredible idea.

are you being sarcastic? Please tell me youre being sarcastic.. The entire point of putting a shroud over the PSU is to hide it from view. A window through the it100% undermines the entire purpose of the shroud. Not to mention it looks all smudgy/scratched.
Tyler Garrison No, im not being sarcastic. I really like it, you may not but everyone's tastes are not the same. And tbh you can't really see the power supply anyways. And when I have a psu shroud, I want it to hide the cables.
Happy to see that they fixed their issues with the HAF. Now its on my radar for a case upgrade later on.
Though i dont like the cases too much i really apreaciate CM for taking feedback and improve their cases to that.

Hoooly, cooler master is finally doing the things with that premium level that everyone love!
The H500M will be my next case. I have had the same case for like 8 years, never saw anything worth upgrading. The H500P was close but the lack of airflow was what put me off. But that H500M is sooo nice looking and the airflow looks much improved. Never really been this excited for a case before.

That lighting stuff at the end seems awesome.
The H500MM clear paneling is very nice. I wasn’t excited to hear $199 pricing, but if I could find a coupon for $169-$179 it may have we won over. I love the RGB power supply panel, I really hope they keep that.
I really like the creativity they put into these showroom models, even if they are subtle, I always admire creativity.

CM , I just love your feedback from our feedback :). I said on FB that my next case WILL BE H500P Mesh Edition but now I kinda like the H500MM also :) even though it's just a little more expensive than H500P Mesh Edition. I can love again :) .

It's a little known fact CM were doing a contest this month for a system with the H500P. Now whoever wins that may have to buy an H500M upgrade kit later...
In regards to the RGB PSU shroud, I dont think it should have the CM outline - instead, you could be allowed to attach
3d-printed covers on top of it, making it useful with any manufacturer. The NanoLeaf plugin is a great addition, though.
H500m will be released on may 22nd according to CM!!!

Dmitry, your videos always rock! I have had a HAF 922 and a Storm Trooper by Cooler Master I am not a big fan anymore. My next case will be a Fractal Design R6. As far as power supply shrouds go, I am old school and want to show off my PS not hide it. I really like the see thru design CM has shown I wish there was a knock out on the R6 to show just the P/S. I sleeve everything but I understand some people want to hide there mess, so the RGB Divider or just a small window would do. Again Great job!

A suggestions:
Logo: The front mesh where the 2 200mm fans logo, could go down slightly down near the bottom. Cause it seems annoyingly looked at like there is something stick in the front that needs to be clean, with the RGB lighting in effect. Or just remove it completely, only have the logo on the side where the power supply cover at. With the logo on the front, with white color, just looks in-perfect/almost perfect. Since not many white cases out in the market, compared to the black color. It is something to consider.
That last piece with the new lighting control software is huge for me as I don't like the lighting while I'm watching a movie... means I could possibly add an "ambilight" type effect behind the tv!
Btw +1 for that display window to show off the power supply
The inner motor wiring which were visible in the 200mm fans of H500M were a sore spot in a otherwise great looking front of the case. It is time fan manufacturers put their logo on both sides of the fan. It will imporve their brand visibility. A few can go even further and introduce the static logo that RR has on its wheels. That would look really cool.

Quite liked the see-through mesh with RGB! Would be useful to have an option to hide it as well. Overall though... that RGB shroud was sick.
I really like the RGB Power supply window on the H500M. But only enough to show the name of the Power supply.

I ask because I am ready for my next Gaming Build and am putting it off until this case is able to be purchased. I literally have all the parts in my checkout cart but, waiting for this to drop. Good news from CM to the comunity. Hope they consider in make a compact case for a micro atx and standart atx with small dimensions but efficient.

I have a question, I am looking for a case and I've seen quiet a few good ones, however I've noticed that drive bays are pretty much gone nowadays. Are there any add ons drive bays for any of these cases? I currently have 3x 3.5 and 1x2.5 . I am trying to keep it midtower
what about those who already bought the "old" H500P? do we need to buy the MESH version to make sure our pc dont burn bc of bad airflow?
Still rocking the HAF-X just seems like better build quality and more practical, but hopefully i can use one of these in my late 2018 build. We need to see actual thermal benchmarks
Wow finally a proper fucking case eh Cooler Master? I bought a Masterbox Lite 5 for my cousin and the temps are shit with the front panel on. I have to take the front panel off to drop 20-30c on the CPU/GPU.
But at night you don't see the desert around Vegas. A lot of holes in the desert, and a lot of problems are buried in those holes. :)
BEST CASE hands down
I like the power supply shroud with the acrylic. What I'd like is the acrylic piece to be removable and with no branding. So you can just put it in a lasercutter and engrave it yourself. Or give us a blank one additionally to the one with the coolermaster halo. :D
Make it possible to do an ambilight thing with adressable LED strips for the monitor. If you tie that in with whole room lighting control with philips hue. I'm so gonna throw money at you.

Hey HardwareCanucks, do you think it’d be possible, that with the whole “modularity” thing in mind, do u think I’d be able to take the whole front mesh from the Old MC5 and put it on that new MC5m? Because I like having the mesh rather than a whole panel on the front, other than that, the new one is perfect to me
Does the rgb controller have ports for additional fans? If I want to more to the top can I plug them into the controller?
