The Dupli-Color anodized paints really look nice (as the can(s) say on chrome or shiny metal surfaces). I have many legit blue anodized fittings on my hot rod and the blue anodized paint from Dupli-Color actually lays down a "prettier" look. I found that care must be taken, though, as the paint does have a tendency to chip, but so do regular anodized fittings. Handle with care and tape nuts and/or wrenches used to tighten/remove. Dries very quickly and doesn't seem to be susceptible to fingerprints like ordinary spray paint. The print on the can has to be read under a microscope :) , but the humidity...under 60%, not 6%.
I have a wooden piece i want to use the metalcast paints on. Should i use white primer then spray the base coat? Or can i just use the base coat directly on the wood? The piece is very smooth if that helps.

Always prime.
Are you supposed to sand the ground coat before spraying the metalcast color? Or do you spray right on top of the ground coat?
If there is rough surface I would sand.
usually I like to shake for a minute or so, and usually try to paint outside, cause spray paint likes to "drift"
Is it a product requirement to paint in the dark?
