This video could not have come at a better time! I was looking for ways to streamline my meal prepping and these recipes will definitely help. I'm so excited to try them this weekend.
I love that the creamy soup doesn't actually have cream in it! Looks super healthy and yummy. I might add nutritional yeast to make it cheesy tasting. (is that an apron or skirt? cute! I would love a "what's in my closet" video. I always love what you wear!)
I hate when soups have cream in them its so unnecessary and makes my stomach hurt lol This soup is SOO creamy without the dairy. And thanks its an apron my older sister got me for my birthday :) I'm filming an apartment tour soon so maybe Ill do a sneak peek in my closest if its not too messy haha
I really liked the recipes and will definitely try them :) My problem with mealprepping is, that I really really dont like to eat the same thing two days in a row, let alone five :D But I like to take time to prep my breakfast and lunch for the next day, because I am always in a hurry to get going in the morning. Loving your apron btw
Yea I know what you mean. I feel like you could always freeze half the meals and then mix it up with other foods :) And thank you my sister got it for me :)
thanx...awesome video..always like your ideas and the fact that you dont try and make it all about proteins and low carbs but only about whole foods ans being healthy!
Yay! so glad you are doing meal prep series 😄😄😄 definitely going to try out the slow cooker oatmeal for mornings that i go to the gym before work. Thanks!!
So those little jars are actually mason jars? Dont think I have seen those any where in stores here. They seem very practical for kitchen use and for food prep. I like Glass much better than plastic containers.
Love love your Chanel! You have made eating healthy way more simple for me! In my house we are in love with the banana bread recipe, literally its all gone after I take it out of the oven lol! Please keep doing this! ❤✌🏻
HealthNut Nutrition ...It is cold I havent felt like having a smoothie in the morning...its just too cold to have one. 😊But I made your oatmeal..stew and several others. The best is I have passed the recepies to my Mexican friends...and they are a hit.
I loved this video, thanks! Really practical and all recipes written down in the description also helps a lot! Normally I cant eat the same things everyday so I will make at least 2 different recipes to vary between them, but this is for sure a big help, specially since you are using things we can find now at stores :)
awesome.... but could you also make another just for student that lives in the dorm? (only has the access to fridge, steamer, microwave, and toaster oven that has no temp scale) thank you!!
I have a playlist for student dorm recipes that you might want to check out :) I will def work on getting a meal prep out for students though. Maybe around end of summer for back to school?
🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎I am so excited about this new series!! But who am I kidding...I get excited about all your videos lol! I do have a random question for you. What was the name of that bee product you were talking about a few videos ago that you take when you start to get sick? I want to see if they sell it online. Thanks girl!
hi there! i really want to try the banana bread recipe but the link doesn't work! can you post a working link or post the measurements? thanks so much!
🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎This is hands down one of the best videos/series you've done. (In my opinion. Lol.). I have a very messed up work schedule. I'll work 2:30-11 one day and have to turn around and be back at 6 am the next morning.😭 Meal prepping ahead of time keeps me on track and making better choices so I LOVE this video. Thank you thank you thank you. Question...do you reheat the oatmeal in the microwave when you're ready to eat it? I know you don't use microwaves but for someone like me who's at work, can I just pop it in? Please do more of these. Maybe a little heartier lunch option??🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎
Thank you so much Laura!! If you're going to microwave it I add a bit of nut milk or water to it before heating it up so it helps soften and rehydrate the oats. I adding notes in the blogpost for the apple pie oats but I dont knwo if I mentioned microwaving. I will def be doing more of these meal prep videos and Im so happy everyone has been loving this video so much. Cant wait for the next one!
I've never thought of using spaghetti to test baked goods!! I've always heard toothpicks but I don't have any at my apartment so I need to remember the spaghetti trick!!
Great video👍... especially the Apple Pie oatmeal, but one question, are you sure that one cup oats is enough for five or six portions? Are used to take 1/2 to 1 cup oats with lots of fruits for one breakfast.
Thank you! Not sure which oats youre usually making but steel cut oats expand a lot more than old fashioned oats. When they cook over a long period of time with the added fruit and liquid they puff right up :)
thank you! Im not vegetarian but if you're trying to eat more veggies I would suggest soups, stir-frys, salads and smoothies. I find starting my day off with oatmeal or a green smoothie is a great way to eat plant based.
that banana bread look amazing! quick question for you do I have to use whey protein in my shake after a workout.... or could I use other forms of protein like peanut butter or any nut Butters?
Is the salad gonna get soggy, if I substitute kale with some kind of lettuce (romaine lettuce, for instance)? I love love love this series!! VEGAN MEAL PREP IS HIGHLY REQUESTED! People, thumb up my comment, if you agree.
I don't have those two flours on hand.... What would happen if I used all purpose flower? This meal prep was awesome, thank you for posting! (: I can't wait for this series!
You could prob do all purpose but I havent tested it. I find banana bread pretty forgiving though so it should be fine. Happy to hear you're enjoying the series so far ;)
do you make this enough for all week , referring to the fish and salad meals. my husband and I are going to start meal prepping this week so I have no clue if fish would be good all week if made Sunday for example . thank you
Cooked fish should be fine in the fridge for up to 4 days. You could always throw Thurs/Fri portions in the freezer if necessary. You can use the website "still tasty" to check fridge and freezer times for lots of foods. It comes in handy.
thanks Taylor!! Make sure you vote in the poll because vegan was one of the options and I will be filming the next meal prep video based on whichever one wins :)
sea salt comes from the earth and I believe table salt is manmade. They are very different and honestly I would just google the benefits of using sea salt versus table salt.
This was the best meal prep I've ever seen! SO realistic! Can't wait to try all of these 👍🏻
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This comment literally made me so happy to read :D
Payton Lewis i thought the same thing and not all protein protein protein like others

So those little jars are actually mason jars? Dont think I have seen those any where in stores here. They seem very practical for kitchen use and for food prep. I like Glass much better than plastic containers.

you could just it might be a bit thick from the coconut milk.

I didnt know about that site! sounds awesome thanks ;) I find the fish is fine for the 5 days in a cold fridge but you could also freeze it if needed.
thank you girls :)
Loved this ❤❤❤
This was such an awesome meal prep everything looked delicious!
Could you do a vegan meal prep one day 😊
thanks Taylor!! Make sure you vote in the poll because vegan was one of the options and I will be filming the next meal prep video based on whichever one wins :)
What vanilla did you use for the banana bread? Great vid!
Panipuri786 it looked like vanilla paste
I like simply organics or I get this vanilla bean paste from bulk barn which is what I used in this video :)
Awesome ideas.
thanks!!
I don't like chicken broth, was wondering if substituting for veggie broth i can cook this recipe!
def!
What I can use instead of spelt flour
please do more meal prep videos.
Love this! Thanks for sharing this kind of video. Keep them coming :)
thank you!!
Wonderful!!!

I loved this video 💕
Thank you!!

thanks Teri!
this is fantastic, I need more ideas - I've lost 8.5st and want to continue healthy lifestyle ☺☺ great video - hello from England
Thanks Sonia! Good luck on your health journey.
Could you, please, next time also add the Celsius degress to the description?! That would be so helpful! 😊 Thank you!
Use google :)
I find google is usually the best tool for that ;)
I love this song lol 🙋🏻
You should watch the vegan corner. About how long can we store food in the fridge.
I'll check it out :) Is it on a website or youtube channel?
HealthNut Nutrition it's on youtube:)
Why do you use sea salt specifically for the banana bread? :)
Do you mean why do I use sea salt instead of regular salt or why I use salt at all?
Yeahhh, sea salt instead of regular salt?
sea salt comes from the earth and I believe table salt is manmade. They are very different and honestly I would just google the benefits of using sea salt versus table salt.
Great video! What kind of fish was that?
Cod .. I guess I should of mentioned that in the info box haha oops!
Just found your channel and love it! However that background music is really something!! Lol! 😭😭😂😂
thanks Cath! Really you dont like it? I love this song haha
yes this was what we need
:D
Would you be able to add the nutrition information to your recipes?
I dont do it at the moment but its something I might try doing in the future. Thanks for your feedback :)
Do you film these videos in your home?
HealthNut Nutrition that's such a nice kitchen! I'm jealous.
I don't how you can eat the same food for a week straight
Ji Won Kim right? Also I thought cooked food is only good for 3 days in the fridge? 5 seems like pushing it. Great recipes though.
Ji Won Kim exactly what I was thinking!
3-5 days is usually fine for storing food in the fridge. You can freeze the fish if you'd like but the veggies are totally fine :)
HealthNut Nutrition my point is I dont want to eat the same thing everyday for a week!
You can meal prep different dishes.
