I need to try these. I bought a major brand floorboard from a major retailer and they sagged so bad my knees were further out than feet. The clevis was too small for the factory female so they sagged in the mount. Terrible design. Hopefully yours are proper size and with adjustment can be set perfectly. Edit: just saw your price. Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Quality made, in the USA by us, on our machines, they will not sag. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is not always true. But it seems to be in this case. btw, my bet is that if you try and buy those imported major brand now, the price has probably gone up. Supply chain issues are wreaking havoc in the manufacturing world, sometimes the result is items are discontinues, sometimes the results are price increases.

Good product. I can't do pegs anymore. I even have small boards on my Pan bobber. They are showing their age(17 years old), I might try to use this kit down the road. Even though I will have to do some fabrication, it looks to be good starting point. For a stock bike, this seems to be a no brainer, people will love the upgrade.

Unfortunately that is the one M8 Softail that the floorboards will not work with. It is because of the brake lever. Yes, shifting id definitely going to be different with a floorboard vs. a peg. I can shift faster, but I am using the the floorboards and the Rock-it-Shift. Using a standard shifter with the floorboards, you can always adjust the angle of the shift peg, either with a spline adjustment or a shift rod adjustment.

@@Peter-976 Did not come across as rude. Sometimes we get frustrated making videos...we have been making parts for a long time and we know the ins and outs of that very well. But making videos...well, that is another story. It took us well over a year, and trying many different microphones, until we got the audio acceptable. I appreciate your comment, I think we need to get a stronger camera light for those low light situations, especially with black parts. Thank you for your business, we appreciate it! 👍 P.S. The next video, coming out this weekend, is even worse. At one point we were using a shop light to try and illuminate something, and it just glared it out. Horrible. By the time we looked at the footage the bike was already back with the Customer, so could not reshoot.
