I found your channel because of some cockpit video at the beginning of a video, then I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a Harley motorcycle content channel😁 Please continue adding footage of your flights, because that's what sets your channel apart and makes Holy Shift #1. And yeah 4 bills seems expensive until you price a CNC machine🤣
Hi Sandy, Stu here, thanks for the shout out hopefully someone adds the Australian poker chips to their collection. Those Thrashin floor boards will definitely be more comfortable and look good too.
I have been following you John and a few others for a little over a year but never comment because I didn’t have a bike! Well today that all changed . I am the proud owner of a 2022 ELectra Glide standard. Love the content sandy 🤘
I just put those floor boards on.. haven’t yet ride with them because I live in Minnesota and it’s going to be a while yet… but we will get a nice day to ride in the winter and I will
Just used your video for reference when I installed these floor boards. Thank you for making it! And regarding the price, I live in Sweden and these cost me almost 500 bucks in 2024.07.08 including Fedex.
Cool, stuff Sandy, thanks for the shout out to for New Zealand.. Note: New Zealand has the most Harley owners per population in the world, just saying..
Mids are the way to go way more control and handling of the bike it’s like when a jockey rides a horse there feet are right below them not straight out …give it a try on a friends bike one day it’s a game changer !!!! Thrashin supply make amazing parts American made to
I agree on price and mine will be here this week 😀. What that tells me is there is room in this market for a QUALITY peice like this. There are cheap, good looking floorboards on amazon but quality isn't there and almost every review i read someone showed one was broken. So that tells me that if you are a machinist and can fab there is room in this market for a better priced quality peice. Thanks for install reivew - will be helpful when mine come in !
Pricey yes, however these T/S Floorboards look very nice and are very functional on your new '22FXLRST. Worth it in my book. Tom M., Hawthorne Ca. '21 RGS, Snake Venom/Black, 114 Stage-2 and '22 FXLRS, Black, 117 Stage-1.
I'm spoiled be floor boards also.. these look like nice replacements for the pegs but I hope you can adjust things to get comfortable and full function of the shifter and brake pedal
Once you get settled at your new place, it would be cool to get a video comparing comfort during & after a longer ride on this setup vs the mids/pegs. Would be cool to include how they feel on some twisties with some spirited riding; are they as confidence inspiring, etc? Considering the exact same parts for my FXLRS, and similar age, height, etc...
Love the boards, I also hate pegs…maybe it’s a well seasoned aged guy thing like us lol. The bike is coming along amazing!!! I live on Long Island I Would love to meet you guys in person but I keep missing the bikes and breakfast meet. You guys have any idea if your visiting king island anytime this summer for a meet and greet?
I love that you did these! They look great and I'm not a huge fan of the pegs either coming from a street glide. But I HATE HATE the price. Good grief they are just CnC'd floorboards.
@@HOLYSHIFT Yes I saw that and like them better as well. I like your set up. I was just to lazy to think about the extra work to get them installed and making sure I order the right parts.
put a set of thrashin supply risers on that bike, you'll love them. on a side note, still baffled how you got your hands on a set of forward controls. Going on a 4.5 month wait for me so far. they keep changing the projected ship date.
Let us know about any top foot an chin cramping having to lift foot so high in shifting? Also about how foot wants to slip off bottom end of pad after miles of riding? Looks really cool! Let's see about function? Also, might be important to think about a small keel stop.
I agree pegs are bad!! I test rode bikes at OCMD it haven't rode with pegs in 10 years it was so uncomfortable lol Love the flying video what a cool job !!
I test road a low rider st today and I just can’t ride that bike. I hate the way my knees are bent and with pushing the pegs forward and now them floorboards u have they still look very uncomfortable for me. The dealer said u can have them pushed forward for $800. I said I do not want to buy a brand new bike and dump $800 from the rip.
How tall are you, and what’s your inseam? I’m thinking about the ST. I test rode one but felt so cramped. Loved the power and ride but was uncomfortable. I’m 6’2 with a 33in inseam.
Do they stay in place with the set screw or do they twist and change angle over time? I had a different company and they would twist and change angle every single ride. Annoying and not safe.
You didn’t need to replace the entire bracket on the frame? My Harley dealer tried to sell me the whole kit.. floor boards and brackets …. Good thing I saw this video …. Brackets were $275
You may hate pegs, but I hate floorboards. Jokes aside, have you ever ridden a bike with dirt bike style pegs? They're extremely grippy, and you can 100% relax your legs on them because they keep your feet locked in place.
I just don't get it.... You went to a bike with worse suspension for touring and the first thing you do is try to make it better for touring by adding a tour pack sound system and now floorboards... for someone moving away from a bagger you're trying as hard as you can to turn it into a bagger.... On a bike that's going to be much less comfortable going any distance at all? color me confused.

Thanks buddy- I promise to include flight footage as many times as I can - to stay #1 😆🤣
there you go.. i seen that coming, i'm getting them for my street glide..congrats
That is a nice chunk of change. I am amazed at the craftsmanship in some of these parts. Just beautiful. Hope you have a good move.
Great floorboards they looks terrific👍👍👍
those look incredible. For me being 6'4'' (all leg, no torso) Those seem SUPER high for positioning.
Hi Sandy,

Number 1 thrill seeking people ! Nice country - I've been there -Wow !
it would be a crime to live in New Zealand and not ride a harley.

The new floorboards look higher than before and almost make you crouch again as the original mid controls

Tom M., Hawthorne Ca. '21 RGS, Snake Venom/Black, 114 Stage-2 and '22 FXLRS, Black, 117 Stage-1.
Thanks Tom - yes looks and functions Great !
Looks nice but it looks to close to the brake pedal

Thats the plan- to give a full review of new set up
@@HOLYSHIFT Cool. Also curious to hear how about air cleaner/leg clearance.
Hi Sandy
I agree Floorboards are a bit pricey but look the business!!👍👍 Grey ghost is looking WOW!! Can’t wait till you do a Stage2!!
Can't wait too !

I do agree to pricey for a piece of aluminum.
If you ask me a bike marketed as a sort of "tourer" should come stock with floorboards or at least minis.
Next... heel, toe shifter... so much better...
I love that you did these! They look great and I'm not a huge fan of the pegs either coming from a street glide. But I HATE HATE the price. Good grief they are just CnC'd floorboards.
They are off already! Switched to a Harley set up

ouch....I was first to the party probably - finished up all the inventory !
Same, the date has changed three times for me. Going on 3 months and it’s getting a bit ridiculous now. Ride safe….

Ok , appreciate if you subscribe too
Done!
Sweet floorboards
Looks like the boards are not long enough as your heal hangs of the back of em. Even so they are definitely better than pegs.
Awesome m8 was wondering if we could enter from down under.
I agree pegs are bad!! I test rode bikes at OCMD it haven't rode with pegs in 10 years it was so uncomfortable lol Love the flying video what a cool job !!
Those are great. It’s a shame that it costs so much to buy a USA manufactured product.
I agree
Agree on the price, they proud.
I think Flo Motorsport would look better and cheaper in my opinion. Good video 👍
Love to ride along with you brother , keep up the great work 👌🏻
Are you moving further away from your pal John (Cycle Fanatix)? Are the mini boards what you wanted?
Moving in town - still close to Johnny boy ! Yes I wanted the mini floorboards.
Nice...
The board’s are no worse than HD boards on pricing , my only concern would be the height considering I am 6 foot tall
Like the other guy said, how does the operation of the brake pedal feel? Looks so close, but maybe thats just the angle of the camera?
It's close- but I changed the angle- anyway remember - we don't press on it so hard. It doesn't move down that much anyway....
Dude, awesome vid! You fly 135? Love it! Take care brother, see you at FL450 😊
Thanks , 121 , and never above 410 😂
@@HOLYSHIFT Awesome, carry on Mate, hope to hear you out there, fly and ride safe.
Link to the break pedal??? I hate the stock forward mount one thanks in advance 🙏🏽
Looking good to bad they aren't built a bit farther back
Do you think the floor boards would have helped in the mid control position?
I don’t really know
Love from Mississippi USA 🇺🇸

Why are the pegs so high?almost looks like harley could have lowered them.
Increased leaning angle on turns...
Comparing the pictures to other bikes on the harley site they look the same may just be those shorts that made em look higher! Haa, enjoy the ride!
Would love to hear a review!
$380+ for them pegs?? Like what da FU$&…
It's called a snap ring
Thanks 🙏🏻 - forget Their name…😎😀
E-clip. Not a circlip or snap ring

Does the air breather bother your leg?? Cus i want to add forward controls on to mine
Yes it does . I changed the breather
Link for the hd shoes 😁
Bilt shoes from cycle gear...
Great looking floor boards Sandy! What was your 2nd choice of floor boards?
Kurtakin
The footboard Being angle as yours, do they drag when leaning?

No I haven’t, only on dirt bikes. I’ll get a chance and try it out…
What is that break pedal?
Did you convert to forward controls ?
They cost a fortune in Aus
What size 12 point socket?
Don’t remember

what a fucking rip off on that price tag!
Too much !
Have you ever seen a ufo?
Every morning when I shave ! 😎🤣
@@HOLYSHIFT,
Ha, ha! Is that from "The Truman Show"?
I saw one in concert, years ago.
you definitely bought the wrong bike
💯👍
How tall are you?
177 cm 5”9’

Everything is $400. Lol can’t get around it..
I agree they are good, but they are too overpriced. They lost a customer.
Circlip
400$ is overpriced and the boards doesn’t even look it belong to the bike.
👍
