thank you so much brother. finally a good skilled teacher. I am seeking this video for 2 days. and I understood that "everyone can learn but everyone cannot teach"
THIS IS AMAZING!! So clear! So concise! and I love how you explain WHY I have to do certain things (Like why I need to add the delay node) this is such a fantastic tutorial!
Nice easy tutorial, if you wanted to create multiple platforms moving with different speeds / distance, would you make each unique BP or expose some variables that can be set in each instance?
Thank you. "Blueprint Mover" works in UE4.27. The old tuts were telling how to do it using Cinema, which I hate because it's level specific, and the Movers/mesh references kept getting reset when I save my map as a new file name. 3:30 Also you explained how to hook up the loop - to reverse the Animation. PS in UE3 moveable meshes were called "Movers" but idk what they were called in UE4 - so it was hard to find a Mover tutorial without using Cinema (use Blueprint and internal Play timeline node instead).
At the end, when you added a delay after the platform reaches the end, it only delays for one end and not the other. I fixed that by setting my timeline duration to 2 seconds, the delay before the branch to 2 seconds, and a 1 second delay going into play and reverse.
Excellent video! Thank you! Question though, is there a reason why you just didn't check the "loop" button in the timeline? I did and that did the same thing as the nodes you placed after? Haha
I'm having problems doing this with an object that I didn't create but downloaded, for example a 3D object downloaded from quixel bridge, I manage to make it move, but never in the direction I put it...
Hi, and thank you for the videos. I have a slight issue though. I'm trying to make a wall that moves up and down, to throw off player timing in a running game. This works brilliantly for the first cycle, but after that, the delay no longer fires. Any tips? I can show the visual code if you need, and thanks again for the video.
I tried making my own platform, tried looking at tutorials to see what I am doing wrong and I still am confused, why do my platforms not have any collision? No matter what I try and do the player just falls through the platform and down to a lower area of the map. I really appreciate any help!

If it's within your capabilities, i would love to see a tutorial on attacks with hitboxes
Something like this? : ua-cam.com/video/bOFM4CJ7LHE/v-deo.html
@@BuvesaGameDevelopment what about making a hitbox appear during an animation that has no collision?
Some Particle Effects can bring that 'hit' feel more alive ;)
thanks. very useful
Thank you!!!

Hi
Do you think this is also possible in VR? I tried it but i fell through the platform.
old channel of Post processed?))
thank
how would you make it so if someone goes in a trigger box this happens?
