With cleaning/prepping a brand new water filter, would putting it in the machine and running 12 cups of that hot water (without the coffee grinds of course) through it be just as effective as soaking it?
@@leeluv96 in instruction don't call for it to be washed on the first use but after you are done brewing coffee. ALSO, its a 30 day filter and not 60 days as he suggests
I have a mr coffee maker but it's not used alot we use it to make brewed iced cold sweet tea we put in the fridge we have a keurig we use for coffee or hot coca or hot tea it's got a filter in it already and I recently installed a new filter for my fridge the mr coffee maker filters should last longer than 2 months for me
Thank you has no idea where this went. Technically it really doesn't do anything. I would use filtered tap water or a Brita pitcher if your obsessed with filtered water. This is just a way of Mr coffee to make more money on replacement filters. A NOTE THEE FILTER WILL FILTER A LOT LONGER THAN THE MANUFACTURER SAYS. this will keep floating stuff out of your coffee
@Just A Dad Videos miraculously enough it still flowed just fine. It was kind of saggy/stretched out but it wasn't causing any issues. I already use highly filtered water so if anything it was probably unfiltering my water, lol. I don't really need it in there but my ocd won't let me not use it so I finally replaced it.

I was thinking the same.

What is the red indicator on the water filtration disc for?
you move it to the month you need to change it again or the month you installed it. there are little letters that say each month by it
@@JustADad thank you dad!!
Thank you! My new Mr. Coffee didn't come with the booklet!
I'm not gonna lie, I changed the filter disc in mine for the first time yesterday. My coffee maker is at least 6yrs old, oops.
LOL wow, was there anything left inside the disk?

It appears I don't have a disk to change filter. It also Said in the booklet . I only have a 5cup one. I guess that's why
the instructions call for it to be replaced every 30 days and only washed under water after each use
Would it work on the ninja
No they are specially made for mr coffee brew baskets
