Agreed. I have a Reach bias so I’d like to see something unique like the Revenant make a comeback. I’d also like playable Sangheili, but when I think about it I don’t really see how they could be put into the game after all the new modifications to Spartan armor. Like how weird would it be to see huge, bulky 343 Elites boosting, ground pounding, etc? Also as much as I hate to say it no franchise that has introduced micro transactions has ever dropped them.
As well as fix the looks of elites, grunts, jackals, hunter armor, bring back brutes, useful weapons and grenades, more ammo, get rid of the Promethean generic bots, A BETTER STORY, and fix the ai so that they don't shoot dead things for 5 minutes. Anything else?

I’d love for them to make a Halo where you play as an Elite the entire campaign. Kind of like ODST, an unknown Elite fighting the UNSC would be fun. Kind of like when you first play the Arbiter in H2.
I think a lower budget Halo spin off game about an elite would be awesome. They should choose the character Isla 'Nosolee from the Halo book "Halo: the Flood" about Halo ce. He is an elite who's story closely follows the Master Chief's for a time. His story is quite interesting.

Halo 4 is actually one of my favorites, and Ive been playing since CE. The only thing i think they screwed up in this game was adding perks. besides that it kills Halo 5 IMO, the weapons feel balanced, the abilities made you feel like a super soldier, the campaign was so cool, and honestly i think it was cool how you can go into your game with a weapon of your choice. You could tell who preferred marksmanship and who prefered to cqb. And honestly 343 put a lot of work into this game. (Graphics were amazining, 50 spartan ops missions that you were able to play as yourself, and so much about the armor and maps is so detailed)
The original trilogy actually built up Cortana’s turn to Skynet, starting from Halo 3. (The hallucinations throughout the game hinted at something sinister, and a few characters throughout the game mentioned that Cortana could be “too far to be saves”) HOWEVER, the problem with the way Cortana was handled was that Halo 4 completely disregarded the buildup in Halo 3. Instead, Cortana was now just regularly dying of Rampancy. This was actually okay, and something I liked. It was a sad but good ending for her, and the series... ...then Halo 5 happened. Now all of a sudden we’re back to Halo 3’s hints and WHOOPEDEE SCOOP Cortana is JUST NOW evil. THERE WAS NO buildup in recent games to this, so it almost completely came out of nowhere. An amazing twist that could have been sad yet awesome was ruined because 343 couldn’t decide which idea to follow. If the focus of Halo 4 hadn’t been rampancy, but instead Cortana being infected by the logic plague (something that’s practically been confirmed in Halo 3, and the official loot-boxes) the twist in Halo 5 of her becoming Skynet would have been amazing. Instead, the foreshadowing in Halo 3 was repurposed to instead signify Cortana dying, AND THEN was REPURPOSED AGAIN to signify Cortana coming back as Skynet WITHOUT MENTION of the logic plague in the games.
Theres nothing on where Cortana's character direction is going for Infinite but I and many others are theorizing that the evil Cortana is an amalgamation of all the rampant personalities Cortana had in 4 with the "good" Cortana dying to protect Chief from the nuke at the end of 4

Im still kicking myself for preordering halo 4 AND pre-purchasing all the map packs only to find out the exclusive "preorder" content was a camo armor, weapon skins that were locked until SR 50, and that the map packs did not even give me anything years down the line

I'm not saying I didn't like either one, but I remember being sad when my friends stopped playing Reach and then 4, but when they left 5 I was like "meh, guess it's time to move on"... something was different but I'm not sure what caused it.

No one remembers halo one for getting the mlg scene started, that halo 2 demo that made halo 2s released game unrivaled disliked by some of the hardcore community (had dedicated websites to how bad they felt the story was and terrible ending) and how halo 3 launched with a terrible nigh impossible balance for mlg and no social playlist that had to be fixed. These are forgotten in favor of what they did well. Halo 4 had an impactful story, and halo 5 is well regard for multiplayer, best forge in series and custom games browser. They will be remembered in the long run for this.
Probably age. Some people tend to lose interest in the things they loved when they get older. Personally, that isn't the case for me. I love Halo, and its a passion of mine to play.

i feel like bungee as a company or a group of people collectively, had a new idea in mind in which direction they wanted their game to go, they wanted a revolutionary new fps that was unlike any other and successfully followed through with that, 1-3 were fantastic both gameplay and story-wise, halo odst was made by bungee after their 10 year contract was over with microsoft, so it wasnt even necessary for them to make the game but was more a labor of love, if they were going to give off their baby to someone else, they were at least going to send it off properly, and not being under contract with microsoft anymore, they had much more creative freedom to make the game how they thought fit. 343 being a brand new game developing company cereated by microsoft to further make halo games, had only the materials that bungee left them, but not the heart, 343 made do with what they had, and because of that, i feel like halo is drifting ever closer to call of duty, because thats whats popular, thats one of the triple a title that gamers play, and developers play as well, 343 has the body of halo, but bungee has the soul, id like to see halo return to its roots as well as many other halo fans, but that will never happen because 343 isnt bungee, they dont have the same heart, they dont have the same soul, they dont have the mothers and fathers of the halo game further nurturing the story and mechanics, its like if a child was taken from their biological parents and given to foster parents, the child will still mature and grow, but its just not the same

I enjoyed Halo 4 because it focused more on chief than the other 3, and the artstyle didnt seem "horrible", it was new, but i still prefer old elites and forerunner structures

Halo 4 is pretty good, flawed, needed some improvement have plenty of critiques, Not forgotten to me at all, halo 5 I loathe entirely however. Halo 5 is awful to me in almost every single form.
the forge is effective sure, not enough of a reason for me to stick around and play, but the MP is not amazing. It's only good for 4v4's and I can not exist on 4v4's alone. the BTB is regulated to only ugly ass forge maps, and the maps are ugly because the game's resources are hogged up by the demands of 60fps at all times, so textures are lower quality and simplier and everything looks bland. If you were to tell me to go to warzone instead of BTB Then I would tell you the warzone is a playpen of microtransactions and it hordes the only good looking Large maps that are kept away from BTB intentionally to attract more users to the microtransaction pool. It's made to keep them in a play pen and to passively seek out players to milk for money so they can fund "pro" 4v4 arena players who focus on calling halo an arena shooter when it is not strictly an arena shooter. Halo can do 4v4 but to cater to that specific corner of the community and have everything else suffer in comparison is nothing short of a slap in the face. Next halo 5's campaign is awful not just in story but in structure, halo 4 is technically superior and graphically better as well despite having issues I would rather play 4 any day over 5.

Well from a general perspective, the halo franchise is one of the best game series of all time! But by Halo's own standards, some of it's games are lacking.
We need a halo 4: ODST and a halo 5: ODST. Not necessarily ODST, but just bridging inbetween both games. Filling in the story could potentially make the games liked a lot more imo.

Could be because the plasma quickly dissipates once the magnetic containment field has been destroyed on impact -- while the flamethrower is probably made out of some adhesive liquid that sticks to the target and burns for a long time. That's the best I got anyway.
HaloDragon The physical impact + the conductive power of the plasma causing a current to flow into the plasma at the point of impact which heats the metal and causes it to melt, drawing power from the shields and the armour power supply.

I know this is your opinion but I personally do not believe this is the case. Honestly I see halo 4 kind of like halo reach. I remember when halo reach came out a lot of people didn't like it. But as the years went on people grew more and more fond of it and now it is remembered as one of the greatest Halo games. And I feel like halo 4 is the same way. When it first came out there were people who really liked it and people who really hated it. But as more and more time goes on. More and more people appreciate it. And I think within 10 years halo 4 will be remembered as one of those halo games that deserved more recognition.

I liked the original trilogy of course, they were amazing for many reason. However, 343 had to make changes. Especially after Reach did. Halo 4 felt good and I thought the story was good, the terminals helped flesh out the story and yes if you read the books and comics then you will have a much better understanding of the storylines now. 343 has embraced the extended universe cannon and built a lot of the storylines for 4 and 5 around it. I can see how this is a problem for casual players if the campaigns. It’s been noted by 343 and I think they’ll do a better job with Halo infinite by telling a story that most can follow but also giving us a plethora of callbacks and nods to the extended universe. My guess? Halo 6 will be an open universe game...like mass effect. You’ll have the infinity to travel to different planets and then you will be able to land and have open worlds. The ability to call in drops of vehicles and armaments yourself too. It’s going to be massive and should appeal to most of the people. I think 343 has done a good job taking over one of the biggest franchises ever, it has to be a daunting task to give fans the Halo they love while also giving them something new too. The new enemies in 4(in lieu of the flood) were a good step forward imo. It’s a part of the plot, which too was a natural progression in finding the Didact and getting the backstory of the forerunners. It had to happen eventually. So yeah, 343 has done a good job, but they have room for much improvement. Guess we’ll see if they have found their way with Halo Infinite...
@@deerecoyote2040 I absolutely agree. Expected a much bigger overall package and it may have even been kinda close, but it was obviously too ambitious for them. It’s what happens when you don’t have a solid team, but instead farm out a lot of the work. It’s not cohesive and they’re going to spend as much time, if not more, fixing the problems that we’re caused by them trying to cut corners. Then there is the lack of passion about what people are working on. It shows. They also need to ditch the last generation sooner rather than later.
It is bad when I only played COD 3 and adv warfare, ghosts and black ops the story wasn't okay, they were mostly dead. I have played more Battlefield than COD because of happens to the layout of your specific class. Cod did it but not a large map to move around in but the same old area. With Battlefield 2, it was the best because you had squads up to 6 members, a commander that controls the UAV, Artillery bombardments, supply crates, controlling the where the squads need to go, etc. It was far better than any other game since they were set in a larger maps. More to move around as a squad.
Halo 4s original balancing with ordinance drops was AIDS. Loadouts made the game more interesting but weren't necessary. They probably helped the game population by keeping things interesting tbh, most of this video is just speculative.
Oh no H4 is DEFINITELY the forgotten Halo game because of the problems it had with the servers and just how the community overall didnt like the sudden art change. They also didnt like how 343i tried to bring in stuff from the books into the games where a casual player (such as myself) has NO idea about.

An amazing twist that could have been sad yet awesome was ruined because 343 couldn’t decide which idea to follow.
If the focus of Halo 4 hadn’t been rampancy, but instead Cortana being infected by the logic plague (something that’s practically been confirmed in Halo 3, and the official loot-boxes) the twist in Halo 5 of her becoming Skynet would have been amazing.
Instead, the foreshadowing in Halo 3 was repurposed to instead signify Cortana dying, AND THEN was REPURPOSED AGAIN to signify Cortana coming back as Skynet WITHOUT MENTION of the logic plague in the games.
Theres nothing on where Cortana's character direction is going for Infinite but I and many others are theorizing that the evil Cortana is an amalgamation of all the rampant personalities Cortana had in 4 with the "good" Cortana dying to protect Chief from the nuke at the end of 4

I feel like halo 5 will be forgotten much more than 4 was. I'm not saying I didn't like either one, but I remember being sad when my friends stopped playing Reach and then 4, but when they left 5 I was like "meh, guess it's time to move on"... something was different but I'm not sure what caused it.

No one remembers halo one for getting the mlg scene started, that halo 2 demo that made halo 2s released game unrivaled disliked by some of the hardcore community (had dedicated websites to how bad they felt the story was and terrible ending) and how halo 3 launched with a terrible nigh impossible balance for mlg and no social playlist that had to be fixed.
These are forgotten in favor of what they did well. Halo 4 had an impactful story, and halo 5 is well regard for multiplayer, best forge in series and custom games browser. They will be remembered in the long run for this.
Probably age. Some people tend to lose interest in the things they loved when they get older. Personally, that isn't the case for me. I love Halo, and its a passion of mine to play.

i feel like bungee as a company or a group of people collectively, had a new idea in mind in which direction they wanted their game to go, they wanted a revolutionary new fps that was unlike any other and successfully followed through with that, 1-3 were fantastic both gameplay and story-wise, halo odst was made by bungee after their 10 year contract was over with microsoft, so it wasnt even necessary for them to make the game but was more a labor of love, if they were going to give off their baby to someone else, they were at least going to send it off properly, and not being under contract with microsoft anymore, they had much more creative freedom to make the game how they thought fit. 343 being a brand new game developing company cereated by microsoft to further make halo games, had only the materials that bungee left them, but not the heart, 343 made do with what they had, and because of that, i feel like halo is drifting ever closer to call of duty, because thats whats popular, thats one of the triple a title that gamers play, and developers play as well, 343 has the body of halo, but bungee has the soul, id like to see halo return to its roots as well as many other halo fans, but that will never happen because 343 isnt bungee, they dont have the same heart, they dont have the same soul, they dont have the mothers and fathers of the halo game further nurturing the story and mechanics, its like if a child was taken from their biological parents and given to foster parents, the child will still mature and grow, but its just not the same

I saw they said so in an interview way back. the first thought i had was WTF? if you don't like a game why the fuck did you want to be in the creative process for. this was the time when halo popularity was at its peak. i would have trade my left nut to work on halo game if i had the skill and talent. yet these people who had the opportunity said they hate the franchised. that was how my beloved halo died.

Halo 4 is pretty good, flawed, needed some improvement have plenty of critiques, Not forgotten to me at all, halo 5 I loathe entirely however. Halo 5 is awful to me in almost every single form.

To me, the only good things about halo 5 are the smgs and the promethian turret
the forge is effective sure, not enough of a reason for me to stick around and play, but the MP is not amazing. It's only good for 4v4's and I can not exist on 4v4's alone. the BTB is regulated to only ugly ass forge maps, and the maps are ugly because the game's resources are hogged up by the demands of 60fps at all times, so textures are lower quality and simplier and everything looks bland. If you were to tell me to go to warzone instead of BTB Then I would tell you the warzone is a playpen of microtransactions and it hordes the only good looking Large maps that are kept away from BTB intentionally to attract more users to the microtransaction pool. It's made to keep them in a play pen and to passively seek out players to milk for money so they can fund "pro" 4v4 arena players who focus on calling halo an arena shooter when it is not strictly an arena shooter. Halo can do 4v4 but to cater to that specific corner of the community and have everything else suffer in comparison is nothing short of a slap in the face. Next halo 5's campaign is awful not just in story but in structure, halo 4 is technically superior and graphically better as well despite having issues I would rather play 4 any day over 5.
When I play BTB on halo 5 (or just any gamemode with a lot of players) everything is chaotic and just very fun.
I think halo 5 has the best weapons tho. At least 343 made the AR better

Can i just ask why does the flamethrower do so much damage against a spartan compared to the PLASMA rifle that shoots plasma which is roughly 3.6 BILLION degrees Fahrenheit vs fire which is 1800 degrees Fahrenheit?
Could be because the plasma quickly dissipates once the magnetic containment field has been destroyed on impact -- while the flamethrower is probably made out of some adhesive liquid that sticks to the target and burns for a long time.

I used to like both. The last COD I enjoyed was Advanced Warfare but that was just because I was on SnD Leaderboards. The only Halo game I still play is Reach and that is just every couple of weeks, Halo 5 just killed Halo for me.

I know this is your opinion but I personally do not believe this is the case. Honestly I see halo 4 kind of like halo reach. I remember when halo reach came out a lot of people didn't like it. But as the years went on people grew more and more fond of it and now it is remembered as one of the greatest Halo games. And I feel like halo 4 is the same way. When it first came out there were people who really liked it and people who really hated it. But as more and more time goes on. More and more people appreciate it. And I think within 10 years halo 4 will be remembered as one of those halo games that deserved more recognition.
Whoever didnt like reach from the beginning should consider never touching a Halo game again.

I liked the original trilogy of course, they were amazing for many reason. However, 343 had to make changes. Especially after Reach did. Halo 4 felt good and I thought the story was good, the terminals helped flesh out the story and yes if you read the books and comics then you will have a much better understanding of the storylines now. 343 has embraced the extended universe cannon and built a lot of the storylines for 4 and 5 around it. I can see how this is a problem for casual players if the campaigns.
It’s been noted by 343 and I think they’ll do a better job with Halo infinite by telling a story that most can follow but also giving us a plethora of callbacks and nods to the extended universe.
My guess? Halo 6 will be an open universe game...like mass effect. You’ll have the infinity to travel to different planets and then you will be able to land and have open worlds. The ability to call in drops of vehicles and armaments yourself too. It’s going to be massive and should appeal to most of the people.
I think 343 has done a good job taking over one of the biggest franchises ever, it has to be a daunting task to give fans the Halo they love while also giving them something new too. The new enemies in 4(in lieu of the flood) were a good step forward imo. It’s a part of the plot, which too was a natural progression in finding the Didact and getting the backstory of the forerunners. It had to happen eventually. So yeah, 343 has done a good job, but they have room for much improvement.
Guess we’ll see if they have found their way with Halo Infinite...

It’s what happens when you don’t have a solid team, but instead farm out a lot of the work. It’s not cohesive and they’re going to spend as much time, if not more, fixing the problems that we’re caused by them trying to cut corners. Then there is the lack of passion about what people are working on. It shows. They also need to ditch the last generation sooner rather than later.

It is bad when I only played COD 3 and adv warfare, ghosts and black ops the story wasn't okay, they were mostly dead. I have played more Battlefield than COD because of happens to the layout of your specific class. Cod did it but not a large map to move around in but the same old area. With Battlefield 2, it was the best because you had squads up to 6 members, a commander that controls the UAV, Artillery bombardments, supply crates, controlling the where the squads need to go, etc. It was far better than any other game since they were set in a larger maps. More to move around as a squad.

Halo 4s original balancing with ordinance drops was AIDS. Loadouts made the game more interesting but weren't necessary. They probably helped the game population by keeping things interesting tbh, most of this video is just speculative.
