  • I unintentionally made a what I eat in a day video, using the Kitchenaid Food Process Attachment with Commercial Style Dicing Kit for every meal!! I used almost every attachment, showing you how to assemble & use each of them to dice, slice, shred, & julienne veggies, fruits, and cheeses. For breakfast I made my version of the iHop shredded potato hash brown recipe & showed you exactly how to make your hash browns crispy & perfect every time. For lunch, we used the dicing attachment to dice cucumber, onion, and even tomato. It really gave you a sense of how the Food Processor Attachment dices tomato (or doesn't 😉). Finally, we sliced mushrooms for a mushroom cream sauce I made for dinner. We didn't get to julienne any veggies but I'll assemble it & give a cost breakdown, tell you the benefits of the product and alternatives if you can't spend that much! Spoiler, if you can fork over the cash, this is definitely a must have Kitchenaid attachment for your Kitchenaid Stand Mixer to ultimately save money & time in the kitchen. Hope you enjoy my Kitchenaid Food Processor Attachment Review & Demo!

      Great content. My favorite is the sifter/scale attachment and the pasta roller/cutter attachment. I’m in heaven since I’ve retired my 6Qt Professional for the 8Qt Commercial…it’s so quiet.

      @@tmason1636 I LOVE the pasta attachment as well! I had no idea that there would be a sound difference but that's awesome!!

    What a helpful video - just what i needed for a refresher - thank you! Hubby n i love the dicing blade - it's AMAZING for diced onions! I can't hardly get the pusher into the shute before the onion is cubed completely. I then flash freeze the little cubes by spreading them out on a cookie sheet then into the freezer. When they are frozen I put them into a freezer bag and they don't become one big glob. So easy to use for home made pizza toppings, dropping into soups n sauces, etc. I think my fun favorite attachment is the vegetable sheet cutter. Oh my goodness, it's like a lathe for veggies n fruits. We make thin sheets of apple and make swiss/turkey wraps then warm in oven until melty... yum! Also, thicker zucchini sheets for low carb "lasagna" noodles. I was gifted my mixer and blessed to find affordable attachment sets locally online. I am loving this wondrous tool!

    I’ve shared your wonderful video. I have struggled with my attachment and not really used it correctly. You should see me trying to fit in the different slicers. I don’t know where my booklet is. I will be watching this video over and over again. Thanks so much.

    Thanks for your video! Can you adjust the size of the diced veggies with the speed? The diced veggies looked small, I'm wondering if you can also do bigger dice sizes?

    • @TeriAdrianna
      @TeriAdrianna  Рік тому

      Not really, you may notice a slight difference but not enough. The disc has only one size and the speed won’t change much I don’t think

    Im so impressed how well the dicer works on your onions. For me, nothing is cut and just spread around the machine… I feel like I have such a big waste of veggies as they just not hit the blades properly. did you have similar problem?

    • @TeriAdrianna
      @TeriAdrianna  9 місяців тому +1

      Hm I'm not sure, I've never really had an issue with onions! It could have something to do with the speed you're using? I used a rather fast speed. Or maybe the prep? Was all the skin removed?
      Hope you're able to figure it out! :)

    I didn’t see what speed level you used for dicing tomato but one thing i know about this machine is that you should dice the soft vegetables/fruits in lower speed like ‘speed 2’ and firmer vegetables/fruits should go higher like ‘speed 10’ but if your vegetables/ fruits are neither soft nor firm just go for with the ‘speed 4’.

    • @TeriAdrianna
      @TeriAdrianna  Рік тому +1

      I would have referenced the manual and done whatever speed was recommended for the type of food & disc being used 🙂 Definitely didn't do the tomato on 10 😋

    I was looking for anywhere on youtube that could tell me if there was any way at all to make pesto with my kitchenaid artisan mixer and food processor attachment?

    • @TeriAdrianna
      @TeriAdrianna  Рік тому

      Hi! I don't think you'd be able to make a classic pesto with the mixer or this attachment. Despite it being called a food processor, it really isn't the traditional food processor that blends food up the way pesto should be made. I've used a regular blender before and it worked great! Otherwise, you'd probably need a more traditional food processor that really blends everything together ☺

      @@TeriAdrianna I was looking for a food processor and came across this one that could attach to my mixer and I just thought all the slicing and Dyson was extra but it's actually pretty much what it is. I will still have to get a food processor ☹️

    • @TeriAdrianna
      @TeriAdrianna  Рік тому +2

      I don’t find it too much harder to clean than any standalone food processors i’ve used! Takes up the same amount of space in the dishwasher I feel like!
      I really like that you can dice things up pretty uniform, whereas the food processor misses big chunks a lot of the time but that’s just me! I guess it depends what you want from your food processor 😊

    Good video. As someone who watches hundreds of hours of youtube a month, and have for the last decade, I would like to provide a bit of advice on how to improve subscriber count. You seem to have all the elements, but one. You are well-spoken, the content stays on topic, you're attractive, and the quality of production is well done. The only issue is when I went to your channel, it's all over the place. You have no theme. Which is great if you are just doing this as a hobby, but if you are looking to get your subscribers count up, you might want to find a niche that you enjoy and start making a lot of content around it. For example, I came here because I am interested in cooking, however this is a rare video you provide that I am interested in seeing, as I only see 3 other cooking-themed videos. You have 12K views that I feel would have converted (including me), if cooking was the theme. I suspect this is true for a lot of your videos, as everything else about it seems great! Good luck with your channel.

    I suggest not to put tomatoes in the processor, it makes a real mess 🙄

  • @rettigo

    Complete waste of money. About 20% leftover after use. Taken apart 3 times during one use to remove potato or onion pieces stuck. You can then slice the rest by hand. The push through thing is a joke too, especially for this little mountain you'll have to process.
    Far more important. The whole thing is instable. Since the blades are not that sharp, you have to press harder. But the attachment is an attachment... extending the arm. So putting pressure on this extention leaves you holding the stand side too, at times.
